LAWN MAINTENANCE MACHINE
The invention relates to a lawn maintenance machine comprising a container (10) and a movable wall (40), the movable wall (40) dividing the container (10) to a first storage (20) having a first length in a longitudinal direction, and a second storage (30) having a second length in the longitudinal direction, wherein the second storage (30) is placed rearward from the first storage (20), the lawn maintenance machine further comprising an actuator arrangement configured to move the movable wall (40) forward and backward in the longitudinal direction in order to increase and decrease, respectively, the volume of the second storage (30). The invention further relates to a method for taking care of a lawn or a turf. This invention further relates to a lawn maintenance method and a lawn maintenance system.
LAWN MOWER
A lawn mower may include: a cutter unit including a cutter configured to cut grass on a ground and a motor configured to drive the cutter; a handle unit attached to the cutter unit and configured to be gripped by an operator; a grass collection container attached to the handle unit and configured to collect the grass cut by the cutter; and a battery configured to supply electric power to the motor. In a side view of the lawn mower, the battery may be disposed on a same side as the cutter unit with respect to the handle unit.
Grass mower and flow booster
A grass mower includes a blade shaft for rotating a blade within a mower deck supported to a vehicle body, a power transmission mechanism for supplying rotational power to the blade shaft, a duct for air-conveying cut grass pieces from the mower deck to the grass collecting bag and a flow boosting device incorporated in the duct. The flow boosting device increases a speed of air flow inside the duct by feeding air through a nozzle opening adjacent an inner circumferential face of the duct along a flow direction of the air flow.

GRAIN LOSS PREVENTION SYSTEM USING AIR BLOWERS
A harvesting head for a collection machine that harvests material. The head includes conveyor belts to transport material towards the collection machine, and blower heads to help prevent material from falling off the conveyor belts. The conveyor belts can include a feed belt that feeds material towards the collection machine, and a side belt that carries material towards the feed belt. Blower heads can blow across the side belt and towards the center of the feed belt. Blower heads can be located below the side belt. Blower heads can be located near the front of the feed belt and blow towards the collection machine. A feed drum can move material towards the collection machine, and blower heads can blow across the feed drum and towards the feed belt or collection machine. Blower heads can be movable, or have adjustable flow rate, velocity, direction or spread.
Expanding coupler for a mower and lawn vacuum
The expanding coupler for a mower and lawn vacuum may pull a suction hose adjacent to a deck adapter outlet. A plurality of hose springs may allow the suction hose to separate from the deck adapter outlet when the suction hose is pulled. The shroud may direct clippings from the deck adapter outlet to the suction hose when the suction hose is separated from the deck adapter outlet. As a non-limiting example, the suction hose may couple a deck adapter of a lawn vacuum to a suction hose adapter of the lawn vacuum. The suction hose may be pulled when the riding lawn mower makes a turn in a direction that is opposite the side that the suction hose is on. Fasteners may prevent the suction hose from separating from the hose adapter.
HARVESTING MACHINE HAVING A MOISTURE REMOVAL MECHANISM
A harvesting machine is disclosed along with a method of operating the harvesting machine. The harvesting machine includes a frame having a first end and a second end. A rotatable pick-up head is pivotally mounted on the first end and is capable of urging a crop into the machine. A cutting mechanism is mounted on a bottom plate of the frame for cutting the stems of the plants and forming a movable web. First and second moisture removal mechanisms are positioned downstream of the cutting mechanism, and each includes a suction roll and a press roll. A moving belt forms a closed loop around the pair of suction and press rolls, and has a plurality of apertures formed therethrough. The moving belt forms first and second nips between each pair of suction and press rolls for squeezing moisture out of said stems as the movable web is routed through the first and second nips.
