Machine for welding workpieces made of plastic materials
Machine for welding workpieces made of plastic materials of the type comprising: two workpiece-carrying fixtures each provided with a template having a recess adapted to accommodate a respective plastic workpiece to be welded; a moving assembly adapted to selectively couple and press the two workpiece-carrying fixtures to/against each other, so as to tighten the plastic workpieces housed in the templates one against the other; a vibrating member which is adapted to vibrate on command a first workpiece-carrying fixture; automatic piece locking means adapted to selectively lock/immobilise the plastic workpiece to be welded inside the template of the first workpiece-carrying fixture; and an electronic control unit adapted to drive/control said automatic piece locking means.
INVERTED BALLOON SYSTEM AND INFLATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
At least one exemplary embodiment is directed to an earpiece having a swappable inflatable tip.
Method for producing a curved composite glass pane having a thin glass pane
A method for producing a composite glass pane, includes placing a first glass pane having a thickness less than or equal to 1 mm on a support mould, wherein the first glass pane is curved into a shape determined by the support mould; placing at least one thermoplastic film on the first glass pane; placing a curved second glass pane having a thickness greater than or equal to 1.5 mm on the thermoplastic film; and joining the first glass pane to the second glass pane via the thermoplastic film to form a composite glass pane by lamination.
Apparatus for sealing pouch case
A pouch case sealing apparatus for sealing a pouch case that includes a pouch body for accommodating an electrode assembly of a battery cell and a pouch terrace extending from the pouch body is provided. The pouch case sealing apparatus includes: a pair of sealing jigs, each sealing jig having a pressing surface, the pair of sealing jigs being configured to press and thermally fuse the pouch terrace from upper and lower directions of the pouch terrace so that the pouch case is sealed; and a pair of terrace anti-protruding units formed at respective pressing surfaces of the pair of sealing jigs to prevent an end portion of the pouch terrace from protruding beyond the pouch body in a horizontal direction of the pouch body when the pouch terrace is pressed and thermally fused. A method for sealing a pouch case is also provided.
MOISTURE-CURABLE HOT-MELT ADHESIVE COMPOSITION, BONDED OBJECT, AND GARMENT
A moisture-curable hot-melt adhesive composition is disclosed. This moisture-curable hot-melt adhesive composition contains: a urethane prepolymer including a polymer chain, which includes a structural unit derived from a polyol and a structural unit derived from a polyisocyanate, and having two or more isocyanate groups; and a modified urethane prepolymer including a polymer chain, which includes a structural unit derived from a polyol and a structural unit derived from a polyisocyanate, and having one or more isocyanate groups modified with a castor oil monool.
Outer lens for lighting fixtures for vehicles, lighting fixture for vehicles provided with said outer lens, and method for producing said lighting fixture for vehicles
An outer lens for a lighting fixture for a vehicle includes a first region formed of a first material and a second region formed of a second material adjacent to the first region. The first material transmits light in a visible light range. The second material has a first wavelength range with transmittance equal to or less than a first transmittance. A second wavelength range has a transmittance equal to or more than a second light transmittance. A third wavelength range is between the first wavelength range and the second wavelength range. The first wavelength range includes a visible light at an S wavelength or a shorter wavelength. The second wavelength range includes a wavelength range from an M wavelength to an L wavelength. The third wavelength range increases from the S wavelength to the M wavelength. The first wavelength range includes the emission wavelength.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR APPLYING AN ACTIVE JOINING FORCE DURING LASER WELDING OF OVERLAPPING WORKPIECES
A pressing device for a laser welding apparatus includes an arm member with opposite mounting and pressing ends. A pressing pad at the pressing end has an opening for allowing a laser beam to irradiate a workpiece assembly that is being pressed by the pressing device. The mounting end has a mounting structure for detachably securing the pressing device to the laser welding apparatus. The arm member is shaped to position the opening at a known fixed distance from a laser source of the laser welding apparatus. The pressing pad has a pressing surface on a workpiece-facing side thereof for applying a joining force to the workpiece assembly at a welding location. At least one of the size, shape and smoothness of the pressing surface allows a sliding-contact movement of the pressing surface along a surface of the workpiece assembly during application of the pressing force.
CAP AND METHOD FOR FORMING THE SAME
A cap and a method for forming the same are provided. An integrally formed outer layer of fabric and an integrally formed moldable layer are adhesively bonded together to form a moldable panel. A curved edge of the moldable panel is then formed by a mold. After that, the moldable panel and at least one second panel are connected to form a crown, to which a peak is subsequently connected to form the cap. Once the curved edge of the moldable panel is formed by heating and pressure application through the mold, the integrally formed moldable layer keeps the moldable panel in shape, so there is no need to support the outer layer of fabric and curve, for example, the front panel with two pieces of buckram that are stitched together, as is conventionally required.
Induction welding using a heat sink and/or cooling
A heat sink for use in induction welding includes a number of tiles, where the tiles are electrically non-conductive and thermally conductive, a joint flexibly joining the tiles together, and a fluid path formed through the heat sink for communicating a coolant therethrough.
TAPE LAYUP APPARATUS AND TAPE LAYUP METHOD
A tape layup apparatus whereby the tape layup performance on a surface to be laid up can be enhanced is provided, the tape layup apparatus being an ATL apparatus 10 having an ATL head 20 for laying up with pressing a tape 1 on a laid-up surface 2a, the ATL head 20 equipped with a pressing part 30 to press the tape 1 on the laid-up surface 2a and a parallel linkage 40 to operate in a manner that allows a pressing position and/or a pressing attitude of the pressing part 30 to follow a form of the laid-up surface 2a.
