Composite material bonding apparatus and composite material bonding method
The embodiment includes: a planar graphite heater; a clamp device that moves the graphite heater, which is arranged between a first bonding surface W1a of a first composite material member and a second bonding surface of a second composite material member facing the first bonding surface, in a traveling direction with the graphite heater being in contact with the first bonding surface and the second bonding surface; and a control unit that controls the graphite heater to heat the first bonding surface and the second bonding surface while the graphite heater is in contact with the first bonding surface and the second bonding surface.
Ultrasonic processing system, booster and method
An ultrasonic processing system (1) which comprises an ultrasonic vibrator (10) having an ultrasonic sonotrode (30) and a working surface (31) for ultrasonic processing of a workpiece. The vibrator (10) comprises a longitudinal axis (L), an enclosed cavity (32, 51) extends along the longitudinal axis at least in the sonotrode (30), a medium inlet (52) through which a cooling medium is fed into the cavity (32, 51), at least one vortex generator (53) which arranged between the medium inlet (52) and the cavity (32, 51) such that a swirl motion of the medium is generated inside the cavity (32, 51) around the longitudinal axis. A cooling channel (34) is fluidly connected to the enclosed cavity (32, 51) to guide the medium in the vicinity of the working surface (31) such that the working surface (31) is cooled. A first medium outlet (33) is fluidly connected to the cooling channel (34).
Method and device for joining moulded parts by electromagnetic welding
A method for joining moulded parts by electromagnetic welding. A joining inductor is moved along contact surfaces of the moulded parts, generating an electromagnetic field in an induction-sensitive component of the moulded part(s) to heat a thermally activated coupling means of the moulded part(s) to above a melting temperature of the coupling means. The strength of the electromagnetic field suitable for joining is determined by previously moving a sensing inductor along the contact plane, generating a relatively weak electromagnetic field to slightly heat the thermally activated coupling means to a sensing temperature, measuring the field strength generated by the sensing inductor in the moulded part(s), determining a discrepancy between the measured field strength of the sensing inductor and the field strength suitable for joining, and adjusting the field strength suitable for joining to close the discrepancy. A device for carrying out the method.
Induction welding using a heat sink and/or cooling
A method of induction welding a first thermoplastic composite (TPC) to a second thermoplastic composite (TPC) using an induction coil includes forming a weld interface area between the first TPC and the second TPC, cooling the first TPC with a cooling apparatus before heating by the induction coil, and inductively heating the weld interface area with the induction coil after cooling the first TPC.
STRUT BEARING ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A strut bearing assembly for a vehicle includes: an insulator coupled to a vehicle body; a first case disposed to face the insulator; a second case rotatably coupled to the first case; a friction reduction unit disposed between the first case and the second case, and configured to reduce friction between the first case and the second case; and a coupling unit disposed in the insulator and the first case, melted by heat, and coupling the insulator and the first case to each other.
Hybrid ultrasonic staking for joining panels
An apparatus to join two panels together includes a chamber, a horn positioned within the chamber, the horn moving reciprocally within the chamber, and a set of heating elements positioned about the horn to heat the horn. One of the panels has a post molded to it, the post extending through the other panel, and after the horn is heated an end of the horn is placed on top of the post and is ultrasonically vibrated to form a head of the post to join the two panels together.
TUBE SKIRT DECORATED WITH AN ATTRACTIVE LATERAL WELDING
A flat strip 1, suitable for forming a tube flexible skirt, comprising a decorative film 15 superimposed on a primary film 16, said primary film 16 consisting of a series of polymeric layers and comprising a sealable inner layer 14 at the lower surface 20 of the strip 1, said decorative film 15 comprising a sealable outer layer 7 at the upper surface 19 of the strip 1 and a decorative layer 8, 9.
The primary film 16 comprises means for stabilizing the strip 1 and protecting the decorative layer 8, 9 against heating.
SEALING BODY
The invention relates to a sealing body, where heat-producing elements of a heating element are contacted from the rear side thereof. Other aspects relate to a sealing body where the site of the heat production and the site of the heat dissipation (i.e. the point of action) are as close to each other as possible. Other aspects relate to a sealing body comprising a heat element with a built-in temperature sensor. Other aspects relate to a sealing body with a defined sealing contour. Other aspects relate to a sealing body having a three-dimensionally structured contact surface. Other aspects relate to a sealing body with a circular, annular, or strip-type heat element. Other aspects relate to a sealing body with built-in electronic circuits. Other aspects relate to a sealing body that can cool the heating element as required. Other aspects relate to a sealing body that can suck up the material to be welded.
STRAPPING APPARATUS
A strapping apparatus for strapping articles with a strapping band having a base plate provided for arranging on an article, a tensioning device with which a band tension can be applied to the strapping band, and a sealing device for permanently connecting two band layers to each other.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SEALING GAS IN A GAS COMPARTMENT-EQUIPPED BAG
A method and device for sealing gas in a gas compartment-equipped bag, in which pressurized gas discharge outlets are provided in the distal ends of a horn and an anvil of an ultrasonic sealing device, and such horn and anvil used for ultrasonic sealing are also used as gas-discharging nozzles. The distal ends of the horn and the anvil are placed against a cutout of a gas compartment of a bag, a gas is discharged into the gas compartment from the discharge outlets, the films surrounding the cutout are being clamped by the horn and the anvil while gas discharging is in progress, and then the gas compartment is ultrasonically sealed by the horn and the anvil to trap the gas inside.
