Disclosed is a welding machine for synthetic resins. The welding machine for synthetic resins performs welding of fabrics using ultrasonic waves and through preheating sufficient not to burn off a coating solution on the surfaces of the fabrics using hot air so as to achieve rapid and firm welding due to concentrated molecular decomposition and melting on the bonding surface between the fabrics, allows both an ultrasonic horn and a welding wheel to be rotated vertically so as to achieve rapid and stable entry of the fabrics and welding of the fabrics while preventing the fabrics from slipping, and achieves stable welding of various fabrics through adjustment of pressing force of the welding wheel depending on the thickness or the material of the fabrics, etc.

FOLDING SYSTEM
20190376231 · 2019-12-12 ·

A machine and method for welding sheets of plastic material. The machine includes a housing with a lower weld bar and an upper weld bar. A vertically-oriented gap is defined in a gripper assembly pivotally mounted to the housing beneath the work surface. A sheet of material is laid over the work surface covering the lower weld bar and gap. The upper weld bar is lowered to hold the sheet in place and a pusher plate is lowered relative to the upper weld bar to push some material into the gap, thereby creating a fold in the material. After withdrawing the upper weld bar and pusher plate, the gripper assembly is pivoted through ninety degrees and lays some of the folded material over the lower weld bar. The upper weld bar is lowered to weld a portion of the folded material and thereby create a pocket in the material.

METAL-RESIN JOINING DEVICE
20190358910 · 2019-11-28 · ·

A metal-resin joining device joins a thermoplastic resin plate (12) to a metal plate (13) by melting the resin plate (12) in contact with the metal plate (13) through heating an exposed face of the metal plate (13) by one-sided resistive heating. The metal-resin joining device has a center electrode (24a) that is brought in contact with the metal plate (13) and a peripheral electrode (24b) that is brought in contact with the metal plate (13) to annularly surround the center electrode (24a) and to which a current flows from the center electrode (24a) via the metal plate (13), wherein the peripheral electrode (24b) is made of a metal material having a higher electrical resistance than the center electrode (24a).

Bonding device and method of using bonding device

A bonding device comprises a body, a cloth guiding-and-heating device, a roll-pressing device, a plate-pressing device, a hot air device, and a tape-delivering device. The cloth guiding-and-heating device, the roll-pressing device, the plate-pressing device, and the tape-delivering device are disposed on the body. The cloth guiding-and-heating device comprises a cloth guiding seat comprising a first cloth guiding groove having a first opening, a material guiding groove, and a second cloth guiding groove having a second opening. The first opening and the second opening face away from each other. The material guiding groove is configured to guide a tape. The cloth guiding seat is disposed with two blowing pipes in communication with the hot air device. The roll-pressing device is configured for roll-pressing and bonding clothes and the tape, and the plate-pressing device is configured for plate-pressing and bonding the clothes and the tape.

NEEDLE APPARATUS

A needle apparatus for making a pinning hole in a composite material, the apparatus having a needle with a longitudinal axis, a collar fixed about the needle, a motor having an axis of rotation, and being fixed to the needle such that the needle can be rotated by the motor, the motor and the collar being situated within a motor housing, the motor housing having a first bush, and a second bush, wherein the collar is positioned between the first bush and second bush so as to prevent the needle from moving away from or towards the motor, but allow the needle to rotate freely around its longitudinal axis, wherein each needle apparatus further comprises a linear actuator connected to the motor such that the motor can be moved along the axis of rotation of the motor by the linear actuator.

Orthopedic component having at least two structural parts connected by an orienting device and adhesive

A method for connecting at least two structural parts of an orthopedic component, wherein the structural parts are retained in an orienting device while oriented in relation to each other, and an intermediate space thus being formed between the structural parts. The orienting device and the structural parts together form a cavity, which has a flow connection to at least one feed connection, via which an adhesive for adhesively bonding the structural parts is introduced into the cavity.

Proposed is lower rollers of a hot air welder, and more particularly, to a lower roller structure of a hot air welder, which includes a first lower roller unit installed on a worktable to be pivoted vertically and a second lower roller unit installed on a main body to be slidably moved in front and rear, such that a welding operation of flat fabric and a welding operation of a cylindrical shape can be performed in a single hot air welder through alternate use of the first and second lower roller units.

Ultrasonic welding of composites using C frame tooling

A number of variations may include a weld gun and a method of operating the weld gun including a motor operably coupled to a converter. The converter may be operably coupled to a booster. A horn may be operably coupled to the booster. An anvil may be operably coupled to the horn wherein vibration of the horn may be caused by the motor. Moreover, the vibration of the horn may produce heat in order to weld a piece which may be disposed adjacent to the horn. The weld gun may not require separate or additional tooling.

FOLDING SYSTEM

A system and method for welding edge seams at the edges of fabric is presented. A method begins by lowering a fabric pre-fold bar onto a piece of fabric. A pre-aligned portion of the fabric is pushed on top of the pre-fold bar so that the pre-fold bar is between the portion of fabric on top of the fabric pre-fold bar and other fabric below the pre-fold bar. The fabric on top of the fabric pre-fold bar is folded edge fabric and fabric not on top of the fabric pre-fold bar is not folded edge fabric. A folded edge is formed between these two sections of fabric. The method pinches some of the fabric at the folded end and then pulls the folded edge fabric off of the fabric pre-fold bar. After that, the method welds at least some of the folded edge fabric to the not folded edge fabric.
