PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A PACKAGING WELD
A process for continuous welding of a sheet of plastic material for manufacturing flexible packages, comprising a step of positioning the sheet relative to the welding device, putting ends of the sheet into contact, forming a weld by heating, pressing and cooling the ends of the sheet that are in contact, acquiring a primary temporal signal with a sensor, the primary temporal signal proportional to a thickness of the weld, transforming the primary temporal signal into a primary frequency signal and defining a low-frequency spectrum, a medium-frequency spectrum, and a high-frequency spectrum from the primary frequency signal, reconstructing a secondary low-frequency signal from the low-frequency spectrum, and determining the thickness of the weld based on the secondary low-frequency signal.
Method for detecting weld seam geometry
A technique for sensing a weld seam geometry of a plastic butt weld seam, preferably plastic pipes, including: manual positioning of an optical sensor in relation to a butt weld seam between pipeline components, preferably plastic pipes, wherein the sensor is aligned approximately perpendicularly to the pipe centre axis, automatic approaching of the sensor of measurement positions along or around a sensor axis, acquiring the visible weld seam geometry and/or the data by means of the sensor in each approached measurement position, determining the optimum measurement position by way of the acquired data, preferably by means of an algorithm, automatic approaching of the sensor of the optimum measurement position along or around the sensor axis, acquiring the weld seam geometry to determine the quality of the weld seam, analyzing and judging the measurement of the acquired weld seam geometry at the optimized measurement position.
Method of forming a wind turbine blade
The invention provides a method of forming a wind turbine blade. The blade has a main blade module that defines a main body of the blade and includes a first mating feature, e.g. a tongue. The blade also includes a separate edge module that defines at least part of a trailing edge of the blade and includes a second mating feature, e.g. a recess. The method includes applying an adhesive to at least one of the first mating feature and the second mating feature. The method includes arranging the separate edge module relative to the main blade module such that the first and second mating features are mutually adjacent. The method includes applying a pressure force to squeeze the adhesive to bond the first and second mating features together. The pressure force is caused by removing air from, or injecting air into, an air sealed region.
Sensing Of A Weld Seam Geometry
A method and device for sensing a weld seam geometry of a plastic butt weld seam between pipeline components, preferably plastic pipes, including the following steps: rough manual positioning of an optical sensor in relation to a butt weld seam between pipeline components, preferably plastic pipes, preferably at the pipe external diameter, wherein the sensor is aligned approximately perpendicularly to the pipe centre axis, automatic approaching of the sensor of measurement positions along or around a sensor axis, acquiring the visible weld seam geometry and/or the data by means of the sensor in each approached measurement position, determining the optimum measurement position by way of the acquired data, preferably by means of an algorithm, automatic approaching of the sensor of the optimum measurement position along or around the sensor axis, acquiring the weld seam geometry to determine the quality of the weld seam, analyzing and judging the measurement of the acquired weld seam geometry at the optimized measurement position.
Fusion welding fittings with weld bead cover
A fitting for use in fusion welding mating thermoplastic components includes a weld bead chamber to capture and conceal a bead formed as a result of the fusion weld. The weld bead chamber integrates the bead into the fitting so that the joined parts have a finished look without mechanical polishing or grinding of the completed piece. A stop ledge included in the weld bead chamber prevents over insertion of a pipe or other component into the fitting. A view window in the fitting permits inspection of the finished bead.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DETECTING WEATHER STRIP SEAM
An apparatus for detecting a weather strip seam includes a sensing roller connected to one surface of a weather strip and rotating along with movement of the weather strip, a load cell unit sensing a signal corresponding to force transmitted to the sensing roller in the weather strip, and a controller that senses a seam formed in the weather strip using the signal sensed by the load cell unit.
END FACE ASSESSMENT
A method for quality assessment of a butt weld of plastic parts, preferably pipeline components, by means of a butt welding machine, wherein two plastic parts are clamped in a coaxial position to one another by means of clamping devices and fixed, wherein the mutually opposite end faces of the plastic parts are planed flat by means of a plane which can be introduced in between, and the plastic part ends are melted by means of a heating mirror which can be introduced in between and then joined after melting, wherein after melting, the resulting melt regions on the end faces of the plastic part ends are inspected by means of at least one camera.
Method for Sealing Pouch-Type Secondary Battery, Method for Manufacturing Pouch-Type Secondary Battery, Apparatus for Sealing Pouch-Type Secondary Battery, and Poch-Type Secondary Battery Manufactured Using the Same
The present invention relates to a method for sealing a pouch-type secondary battery and may provide a method for sealing a pouch-type secondary battery, the method including: a first sealing process of vertically pressing a sealing area of upper and lower pouches through a sealing apparatus; and a second sealing process of moving the sealing apparatus outward from the inside of the pouch in the state of pressing the sealing area of the upper and lower pouches through the sealing apparatus.
ELECTROFUSION JOINT AND FUSION METHOD
The electrofusion joint includes a tubular main body, a stopper portion, a first heat generating section, and a second heat generating section. The tubular main body includes a joint receiving portion. The stopper portion projects inward on the inner surface of the main body. The first heat generating section includes a heating wire wound and arranged at the joint receiving portion. The second heat generating section includes a heating wire wound so that wound parts are adjacent to each other and the heating wire is disposed in the stopper portion. The first heat generating section includes at least one heat generating portion in which the heating wire is wound so that the wound parts are adjacent to each other.
