Processed slabs, and systems and methods related thereto
This document describes systems and processes for forming synthetic molded slabs, which may be suitable for use in living or working spaces (e.g., along a countertop, table, floor, or the like).
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR HEATING AND CURING ARTIFICIAL STONE WITH MICROWAVE
A device and a method for heating and curing artificial stone with microwave are provided. The device includes a microwave curing cavity, within which an incompletely cured artificial stone is placed, and microwave is used to heat the artificial stone to completely cure the artificial stone; wherein, a frequency of the microwave is in a range of 3001120 MHz. The present disclosure provides a separately designed microwave curing cavity, and utilizes 3001120 MHz microwave having a large penetrating depth, to realize a rapid curing of a large-sized artificial stone.
Stone slabs, systems, and methods
This document describes systems and processes for forming stone slabs, which may be suitable for use in living or working spaces (e.g., along a countertop, table, floor, shower surrounds, tiles, or the like). In some embodiments, the stone slabs may be processed by partially filling a mold with a particulate mineral mix, and preparing a top surface of the particulate mineral mix to received one or more additional materials.

Method and apparatus for manufacturing quartz slab
An apparatus including a first conveyor device including a first conveyor belt; a second conveyor device including a second conveyor belt; a movement device; and a mold device including a mold; wherein the first conveyor device is connected to the second conveyor device so that when the movement device moves the first conveyor device, the second conveyor device also moves with respect to the mold device; wherein the first conveyor belt moves independent of the second conveyor belt; and wherein the first conveyor belt and the second conveyor belt move independent from the movement device. The apparatus may further include a first and second dispensing devices configured to dispense first and second materials, first and second gate devices to control height, and a computer processor to control the various components and the resulting ratio of first material to second material in a processed slab.
ARTIFICIAL MARBLE COMPOSITION AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR ARTIFICIAL MARBLE USING SAME
Disclosed are an artificial marble composition having a natural marble texture, and a method for producing artificial marble using the same. The artificial marble composition according to the present invention comprises: a first resin mixture; and a second resin mixture which is added to the first resin mixture and has a viscosity different from the first resin mixture, wherein each of the first and second resin mixtures comprises a base resin and an inorganic filler, and wherein the second resin mixture further comprises a thixotropic agent.
Plant and method for the production of slabs from a mixture of agglomerate
A plant for the production of slabs from a mixture of agglomerate comprises a station (50) with a mixture distribution unit (52) which pours the mixture onto the inner surface of a slab forming mould (11) present in the station. The mould (11) is provided with a sheet (15) of plastic protective material arranged above the inner surface of the mould and which forms the surface for contact with the mixture which is introduced into the mould by the distribution unit (52). The station comprises air suction means which are coupled/connected to suction ducts (54) which are present in the mould and which emerge with their front end inside the mould in a zone of the mould situated between the inner surface of the mould and the sheet (15), so as to allow the suction of air between the sheet and this inner surface and bring the sheet (15) against this surface by means of a vacuum. A method for the production of slabs is also described.
Agglomerated Stone Countertop and Process of Manufacture
The present invention provides a countertop (10) comprising a backer sheet (16) of a relatively lightweight, rigid material; an outer layer (14) of agglomerated stone disposed on a top surface (16a) of the backer sheet (16) to create a central portion (14a) of the countertop; and an outer layer (14) of agglomerated stone disposed on a side surface (16c, 16d) of the backer sheet (16) to create an edge portion (14b, 14c) of the countertop (10); wherein the central portion (14a) and edge portion(s)(14b, 14c) form a one piece agglomerated stone layer (14). The present invention also provides a moulding process to manufacture the agglomerated stone countertop (10).
Textured stone slabs, systems, and methods
Stone slabs, and systems and methods of forming slabs, are described. Some example slabs include a first pattern defined by a first particulate mineral mix and a second pattern defined by a second particulate mineral mix different from the first particulate mineral mix. Locations of the first pattern have a first average thickness perpendicular to the slab width and the slab length, and locations of the second pattern have a second average thickness perpendicular to the slab width and the slab length that is different from the first average thickness.
