PLANT STRIPPER
A plant stripper is provided. The plant stripper, in one implementation includes a motor comprising a drive shaft; a first roller coupled to the drive shaft and configured to be turned by the motor; and a second roller opposing the first roller and defining a gap between the rollers for receiving a stem of a plant. A stripping guide element defines an opening disposed opposite the gap between the first and second roller. The opening is defined by a surface surrounding the opening and configured to contact plant material while allowing the stem to pass through the opening. The surface is configured to remove plant material from the stem as the stem is pulled through the opening by the first and second rollers.
METHOD FOR PROCESSING WHOLE HEMP STALKS TO FORM DRY HEMP PRODUCT COMPRISING CANNABINOID OIL
A method for processing hemp to form a dry hemp product including cannabinoid oil comprises steps of: (i) cutting hemp plants growing in a field between about 85 days and about 120 days after seeding, such that the hemp plants include at least one of leaves and flower buds but are free of seed; (ii) drying the hemp plants to a prescribed moisture content of about 5% to about 15%, by leaving the hemp plants in the field to air dry; (iii) shaking the hemp plants to shear said at least one of the leaves and the flower buds from stalks of the hemp plants so as to form separated stalks and said at least one of the leaves and the flower buds which are not deformed; and (iv) screening the separated stalks and the leaves and/or the flower buds so as to be separated from one another.
Crop dust separation system
The present invention provides a system for separating crop dust from crop residue produced during a harvesting operation using a combine. The system comprises an attachment member configured to be used with the combine, a shroud fastened to the attachment member and extending downward to form a negative pressure chamber; and a container for collecting the separated crop dust exiting the outlet of the cyclone unit. The attachment member comprises a suction fan to generate a negative pressure to draw an air flow comprising at least a portion of the crop dust separated from the crop residue; and a depressurized cyclone unit in communication with the suction fan, having an inlet for receiving the air flow comprising the separated crop dust drawn by the suction fan, and an outlet having a turning interlock configured to maintain the negative pressure while discharging the separated crop dust through the outlet.
HEMP PICKING MACHINE FOR PICKING HEMP
Described is a hemp machine for processing hemp. The hemp machine comprises a self-propelling vehicle comprising a vehicle chassis and a hemp picking unit mounted on the vehicle chassis for the purpose of picking the hemp plants. The hemp picking unit comprises a first picking element embodied to pick the lower part of the hemp plants and a second picking element embodied to pick the upper part of the hemp plants. The second picking element has a cutting unit for cutting the hemp plants at a position between the upper and lower part of the hemp plants.
Automated hemp flower harvester machinery and apparatuses, methods relating to same
A system includes an open sieve and an auger tip. The open sieve includes an outer frame and a set of crossbars, the outer frame and the set of crossbars defining a plurality of openings. The auger tip includes a tubular portion and a flange. The tubular portion has a first end, a second end, and defines an interior cavity. The flange is coupled to the first end. The flange is configured to be coupled to an auger housing such that a shaft coupled to an auger within the auger housing can be disposed within the interior cavity of the tubular portion and within a bearing rotatably mounted to the second end of the auger tip. The tubular portion defines an opening in a sidewall of the tubular portion such that flower material that has been conveyed to the interior cavity by the auger can fall through the opening.
Plant Trimming Apparatus and Methods
An apparatus for trimming plant material includes a rotatable tumbler through which the plant material is to be axially propagated while rotationally tumbling, and a plurality of cutting reel systems adjacent the tumbler. The plurality of cutting reel systems includes a first cutting reel system adjacent the tumbler, and a second cutting reel system adjacent a landing zone of the rotatable tumbler. The landing zone is an angular range about the axis of the tumbler within which plant material tends to land on the tumbler after tumbling through a central volume of the tumbler.
Agricultural baling machines
An agricultural baling machine including: a frame; a connection point for attaching to a towing vehicle; a plunger in a bale-forming chamber; a driveline for taking power from the towing vehicle and causing reciprocal rectilinear motion of the plunger in the bale-forming chamber, wherein the driveline includes a transmission; and a drawbar assembly that provides a mechanical link between the connection point and the frame. The drawbar assembly includes a transmission mounting member that provides a mechanical connection between the transmission and the frame.
PROCESSING MACHINE FOR FIBER PLANTS
The invention relates to a processing machine for processing fibre plants, such as hemp or flax. The processing machine can comprise:a self-propelling vehicle;a seed part removing unit which is mounted on the self-propelling vehicle and is configured to remove seed parts (such as bolls) from the fibre plants to be picked;a picking unit which is mounted on the vehicle and is configured to pick fibre plants from which seed parts have been removed, wherein the picking unit is further configured to transport the picked fibre plants to the conveyor of the self-propelling vehicle. The seed part removing unit can for instance be a stripper for stripping the seed parts from the fibre plants.
PICKING UNIT AND MACHINE FOR PICKING FIBER PLANTS
Fibre plant picking unit configured to be mounted on a vehicle chassis for picking hemp, comprising one or more picking elements, wherein each picking element comprises: a frame part; mounting means for mounting the frame part releasably on the vehicle chassis; and a fibre plant picking and transport installation arranged on the frame part, comprising: a plurality of pulleys; at least one pair of endless conveyor belts trained over the plurality of pulleys and configured to grip the fibre plants therebetween and to pick and then transport them in gripped state, wherein in each case at least one of the pulleys corresponding with a conveyor belt is a drive pulley; and a plurality of drive motors, wherein each of the drive motors is configured to drive only one or only two drive pulleys of a corresponding conveyor belt.
HEMP HARVESTER
The present invention relates to a method and device for harvesting plants belonging to the family of hemp plants (Cannabaceae), in particular of the genus Hemp, with which the harvesting and separation of the individual plant parts is made possible without damaging the individual plant parts. In particular, during harvesting, the hemp stems are pulled downwards by a pair of rollers and the flowers are pulled backwards through a chain gap, whereby the flowers are stripped from the stems
