METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING REAR COVER, REAR COVER AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE HAVING THE SAME
A method for manufacturing a rear cover is provided. A housing is provided. The housing has a metal layer and a plastic layer. The metal layer has a first surface and a second surface. The plastic layer is formed on the first surface. A slot is defined in the metal layer. The slot passes through the first surface and the second surface of the metal layer. An unshielded portion is formed in the slot. A rear cover and an electronic device having the rear cover are also provided.
FILLER ASSEMBLY FOR CABLE GLAND
A dispenser apparatus for a curable liquid material is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a flexible bag defining a first compartment for accommodating a first component of a curable liquid material, and a second compartment for accommodating a second component of the curable liquid material and adapted to communicate with the first chamber to enable mixing of the first and second components to initiate curing of the curable liquid material. A first clamp temporarily prevents mixing of the first and second components, and an elongate nozzle communicates with the second compartment to dispense the mixed curable liquid material therefrom. A second clamp temporarily prevents passage of the curable liquid material from the second compartment to the nozzle.
Pre-Filled Radius Layups
A void between two or more composite laminate parts is filled by a composite laminate filler that is laid up and integral with at least one of the parts.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A MULTILAYER COMPOSITE MATERIAL, MULTILAYER COMPOSITE MATERIAL OBTAINED BY THE METHOD AND MECHANICAL PARTS OR STRUCTURES PRODUCED WITH SAID MATERIAL
Method for producing a multilayer composite material, according to which said multilayer composite material, multilayer composite material obtained by the method and mechanical parts or structures produced with said material. The present invention concerns a method for producing a multilayer composite material, according to which said multilayer composite material comprises one or a plurality of thermoplastic polymer layers, one of which is a surface layer (1) comprising a thermoplastic polymer A, and comprises a substrate layer (2) comprising a thermoplastic (meth)acrylic polymer matrix and a fibrous reinforcing material, said method involving cutting at least one window in the thermoplastic polymer layer or layers and at least one window in the fibrous material, said windows being intended to coincide; impregnating the fibrous material with a liquid (meth)acrylic syrup such that it fills said windows, or inserting a transparent thermoplastic plate into said window; polymerizing the liquid (meth)acrylic syrup impregnating the fibrous material and present in the absence of a thermoplastic plate in the window or windows. The invention is applicable applies to the production of mechanical parts of structured elements or decorative items made from multilayer composite material and requiring transparent windows.
DEVICE FOR FORMING ADD-ON PARTS
The device has a support segment for supporting a workpiece, in particular a flat workpiece, and a carrier segment, in particular a cantilever, a gantry, or an articulated-arm robot, which carrier segment holds a working unit. According to a preferred embodiment, the carrier segment can extend at least partially over the support segment. The working unit, in turn, comprises a feeding unit for feeding a forming material and an attachment segment for a die. According to the invention, the die can be placed against a workpiece and comprises a cavity for forming a component.
PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR BORDERING A CORRUGATED PLASTIC PANEL AND PANEL THUS OBTAINED
The present invention is related to a process for bordering a corrugated plastic panel and to a panel obtained through that process. In particular, the invention is related to a process for making a corrugated plastic panel comprising a bordering made in-line or out-line in order to close the openings outwards. The invention is also related to an apparatus for bordering according to that process. The panel is sealed and shock resistant thanks to the laying of thermoplastic elastomeric material.
PRINTED HOLLOW CHANNELS FORMED WITHIN AN OBJECT DURING FORMATION FOR INJECTION OF A BONDING MATERIAL
A method of manufacturing a prosthetic socket for use by a patient comprising dispensing a source material to form a layer of material, repeating the dispensing to form a plurality of stacked layers, forming in each one of a subset of the plurality of layers, when dispensing the material, one or more channels, wherein the channels formed in each of the subset of layers communicate with each other to form a complete channel having a selected length and shape, completing the dispensing of the source material to form the prosthetic socket, and filling the channels with a bonding material such that the bonding material strengthens the bond between adjacent ones of the subset of the plurality of layers having the channels formed therein.
Composite structure and method of forming thereof
A composite structure that includes a plurality of components coupled together forming a joint, wherein the plurality of components are oriented such that a gap is defined at least partially therebetween. The composite structure also includes a filler structure positioned in the gap. The filler structure includes a honeycomb core including side walls that define a plurality of core cells, and an amount of resin within each of the plurality of core cells. The honeycomb core side walls facilitate restricting crack propagation in the resin from spreading between adjacent pairs of the plurality of core cells.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FORMING A MASKING LAYER
In various embodiments, a method of forming a masking layer on at least a portion of an object. The method may include providing a plurality of mould pieces. The method may include forming an assembled mould using the plurality of the mould pieces. The assembled mould may include one or more inner surfaces to define a cavity for holding the portion of the object. The method may include providing a masking fluid in said cavity. The method may include providing electromagnetic waves to cure the masking fluid to form the masking layer on the portion of the object.
Pre-filled radius layups
A void between two or more composite laminate parts is filled by a composite laminate filler that is laid up and integral with at least one of the parts.
