Current sensor device
A current sensor device includes a casing having a cavity and a conductor fixedly mounted to the casing. A semiconductor chip configured to sense a magnetic field is arranged in the cavity. An electrically insulating medium is configured to at least partially fill the cavity of the casing.
Method of making a composite board and a product made thereby
A method of making a composite board and a product made thereby are disclosed. The method includes a lining forming step, a fiber pipe rolling step, a fiber pipe mounting step, a fiber material covering step, and a board body forming step. The product includes a lining acting as a board body, a plurality of long slots formed on the lining, a fiber pipe placed in each of long slots, a foam material mounted in each of fiber pipes, and a fiber material covering an external periphery of the lining. The fiber materials and the fiber pipes are melted and combined together by heat, thereby shortening the operating time. The fiber pipe becomes a reinforcement support structure to increase a structural strength of the composite board, thereby producing a finished product with a light weight and a strong structure.
HYBRID METAL POLYMER INTERLOCK
A mechanical coupling assembly that includes a primary substrate having at least one aperture formed therein. A secondary substrate includes at least one mechanical interlock monolithically formed with the secondary substrate. The at least one mechanical interlock extends through the aperture. The mechanical interlock includes a main body and a head portion with a transition portion connecting the main body and head portions. The main body includes a bore formed longitudinally therein about a centerline of the aperture. The mechanical interlock joins the primary substrate and secondary substrate mechanically.
Automated fabrication system implementing 3-D void modeling
A fabrication system is disclosed for use in joining two components of a work piece. The fabrication system may have a mount configured to hold the work piece with a void to be filled with material. The fabrication system may also have a scanner configured to capture at least one image of the void, a robotic fabrication device movable relative to the mount, and a controller in communication with the scanner and the robotic fabrication device. The controller may be configured to generate a model of the void based on the at least one image, and to slice the model into at least one layer. The controller may also be configured to develop a tool path for each of the at least one layer, and to cause the robotic fabrication device to deposit material within the void based on the tool path.
Light touch sealant applicator device
The present invention provides a device for applying a fluid sealant with a light touch, the device comprising a wand with a fluid sealant supply, either as part of the wand or as a separate supply tube, attached to the top of an applicator head via a universal joint, wherein the applicator head has a chamber on its underside which is sufficiently large to enable a constant supply of a fluid sealant to a substrate that is to be sealed, and the applicator head has a chamber edge disposed around its lower periphery adapted to strike the sealant flat. In addition, the present invention provides methods of using the devices to form a seal, e.g. a weather-resistive barrier on a sheathed building structure, by applying a flexible and compressible foam to gaps in the structure. The foam may comprise one or more aqueous polymer having a glass transition temperature of less than 25 C.
MANUFACTURE OF OBJECTS HAVING A FIBER-REINFORCED REGION
A method suitable for manufacturing complex and stable objects of a wide range of sizes. The method involves producing an object structure by a generative production method and/or by an injection molding method, and producing a fiber-reinforced resin layer in at least one sub-region of the object structure.
Apparatus for shaping transducer membranes
The present disclosure provides a transducer shaping chamber for shaping ultrasound transducers. The transducer shaping chamber includes a transducer coupon carrier having one or more slots. The one or more slots each are geometrically shaped to hold a transducer coupon having a plurality of ultrasonic transducers formed thereon. The transducer shaping chamber includes a first plate disposed over a first side of the transducer coupon carrier. The transducer shaping chamber includes a second plate disposed over a second side of the transducer coupon carrier. The second side is opposite the first side. The transducer shaping chamber is configured to move the first plate and the second plate toward each other so as to push against the transducer coupon carrier from the first and second sides, respectively, until the transducer coupon carrier has been sealed against the first plate and with the second plate.
BACKPLATE, PLASTIC-IRON INTEGRATED STRUCTURE, BACKLIGHT UNIT AND DISPLAY DEVICE
The present invention relates to the display technology field, and provides a backplate, a plastic-iron integrated structure, a backlight unit, and a display device. The backplate is provided with a first through hole, and the first through hole has an inner wall and an outer wall which form a projection structure on the backplate. When the backplate is bonded with a plastic frame to form the plastic-iron integrated structure, the plastic frame not only contacts the inner wall of the first through hole, but also contacts the surface of the projection structure, thus increasing the contact area between the plastic frame and the backplate, and increasing the bonding force between the plastic frame and the backplate. Even when the plastic frame shrinks in case of fluctuations in temperature and/or humidity, the plastic frame is not easily separated from the backplate, and the stability of the formed plastic-iron integrated structure is improved.
SILANE-TERMINATED ADHESIVE FOR JOINING JOINTS IN THE NAVAL FIELD
An adhesive which includes at least one silane-functional polymer P; at least one catalyst for crosslinking silane-functional polymers, the catalyst being selected from the group including organo-titanate, organo-zirconate, and organo-aluminate; at least one base; and at least one adhesive selected from alkoxy mercaptosilane and amino alkoxysilane, for filling wood joints. The adhesive filled into the joints is preferably sanded after the curing process. The adhesive exhibits a high UV stability and a stability against warm humid climates. The adhesive is therefore suitable for naval applications in particular, such as in the construction of boats and ships. The adhesive can be formulated so as to be black, white, or gray for example.
FILLER ASSEMBLY FOR CABLE GLAND
A dispenser apparatus for a curable liquid material is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a flexible bag defining a first compartment for accommodating a first component of a curable liquid material, and a second compartment for accommodating a second component of the curable liquid material and adapted to communicate with the first chamber to enable mixing of the first and second components to initiate curing of the curable liquid material. A first clamp temporarily prevents mixing of the first and second components, and an elongate nozzle communicates with the second compartment to dispense the mixed curable liquid material therefrom. A second clamp temporarily prevents passage of the curable liquid material from the second compartment to the nozzle.
