Presented is a unique lighted flea comb suitable for all coat types and is specifically designed to extract fleas from a pet's fur even when the lighting condition is not optimal or during the absence of light. This feature allows a pet owner or a comb user to get a clear view of fleas or like parasites, and allow the comb user to easily remove them with the multi row and tightly spaced bristles of the comb. The proposed lighted flea comb is also built with a comfortable ergonomic handle with a groove for user's finger and curved body for superior control.

An animal cleaning tool for cleaning and maintaining a hygiene of an animal is provided. An animal cleaning tool includes a top housing portion and a bottom plate surface, the bottom plate surface having a set of brushing elements that are spaced apart and protrude outwardly from the bottom plate. The top housing portion includes an air supply conduit and a cleaning agent supply conduit adapted to be disposed within an interior of the top housing portion of the animal cleaning tool, whereby the air supply conduit is configured to distribute air and the cleaning agent supply conduit is configured to distribute cleaning agent. A method for using an animal cleaning tool is provided that includes dispensing the cleaning agent as an atomized spray of particles onto a surface of the animal using the animal cleaning tool.

Provided are methods and apparatus for addressing mats and tangles in the fur of mammals. Specifically, provided herein is a doubled-bladed tool for mat and tangle-splitting that reduces or eliminates the pain and stress experienced by the animal during grooming.

A convenient pet brush for hair removal includes a handle, a housing, and a brush assembly. The housing is arranged at a lower end of the handle. The brush assembly is arranged inside the housing. A bayonet shrinking inward is provided on a first side of the housing. A front fixing ring is arranged on an inner side of the bayonet. A rear fixing ring is arranged on a second side of the housing. The brush assembly is mounted inside the housing through the front fixing ring and the rear fixing ring. The brush assembly includes a comb head, a push plate, and a spring. The comb head is fixedly mounted in the front fixing ring. The push plate is slidably mounted between the front fixing ring and the comb head. A hair pushing ring is provided at a first end of the push plate.

A pet grooming clipper cleaning assist device is provided having a body formed of a generally planar element having a thickness that is smaller than an overall width. Along a distal end of the body forming a flat, linear face having a lateral linear centerline forms a plurality of equally sized receiving sockets each being equally positioned and having a female thread, each for connection of a cleaning swab. A plurality of cleaning swabs, one each for engagement with each said socket. Each cleaning swab has a linear shaft having a swab head at a distal end of a shaft and a male threaded connection at a proximal end of said shaft. Each swab head further comprises a soft gripping element.

A pet hair grooming assembly for brushing and subsequently collecting pet hair includes a brush that can be manipulated for grooming pet hair. The brush has a first end, a second end and an outer wall extending therebetween. The first end is open to pass air inwardly therethrough and the brush is hollow. Additionally, the brush has a hair chamber therein for collecting pet hair. A brush head is removably coupled to the brush for brushing the pet hair and thusly dislodging loose pet hair. A suction unit is positioned in the brush. The suction unit urges air into the brush when the suction unit is turned on thereby facilitating the hair chamber to collect the loose pet pair.

A multi-layered animal garment is configured to aid shedding of fur from an animal. The garment includes a fur agitation layer comprising a plurality of fur agitation features to facilitate the shedding as the fur agitation layer moves relative to the fur and a mesh layer configured to retain fur pieces shed from the fur. Each layer includes at least one leg band configured to be attached to a leg of the animal. The fur agitation layer and the mesh layer are elastically connected to each other. The leg band of the fur agitation layer and the leg band of the mesh layer cause the fur agitation layer and the mesh layer to move in relation to each other.

A cat brush with a surface having adjacent spaced apart fingers intended to interfit between the hairs of a feline coat, so that the hairs can be dragged therethrough to align the hairs and remove matted fur, wherein the improvement comprises configuring the fingers such that the fingers taper from the surface to a point and are characterized by a maximum thickness (T.sub.max) measured at and parallel to the surface, a maximum height (H.sub.max) measured perpendicular to the surface, and a midway thickness (T.sub.1/2) measured parallel to the surface at one-half the maximum height, such that: (2T.sub.max)<H.sub.max<(3T.sub.max); and T.sub.max(2T.sub.1/2); and H.sub.max=2 to 5 mm.

Various embodiments of a livestock grooming article and method of forming same are disclosed. The livestock grooming article includes a handle extending along a handle axis, and a head extending along a head axis and connected to the handle. The head includes a body including a first major surface and a second major surface, and a back slidably connected to the first major surface of the body. The back includes a first major surface and a second major surface, where the first major surface of the back faces the first major surface of the body when the back is connected to the head. The head also includes a bristle extending through the body and beyond the second major surface of the body.

Disclosed is a comb having a lamellar body and including, along a toothed edge, teeth able to penetrate the coat of hair. The comb eliminates injuries caused to the animal by sharp teeth, eliminating fur damage while also improving the treatment of the hair coat and to improve brushing performance by adapting to the hair coat of each animal, in each season. To this end, the teeth of the two sets of teeth A and B, which are positioned one on each side of the mid plane P of the body and the teeth of which sets are intercalated with one another, have anti-injury roundings at the tips and over part of the length of the edge corners leading from these tips and are delimited between a flat external face and a curved extreme internal face, the tooth set B being finer and provided with shorter teeth.
