Injection molding flow control apparatus and method
An apparatus for controlling the rate of flow of a fluid mold material comprising: a manifold, an actuator interconnected to a valve pin, a position sensor that senses position of the valve pin, a controller that controls movement of the actuator according to instructions that instruct the actuator to drive the valve pin upstream at one or more selected intermediate velocities in response to receipt by the controller of a signal from the position sensor that the valve pin is disposed in the one or more intermediate upstream gate open positions.
Sensing module
A sensing module includes a hollow body, a first photo sensor, and a second photo sensor. The hollow body includes a cavity portion and an insertion portion connected to each other. The insertion portion has a first channel and a second channel. The first photo sensor is disposed in the cavity portion of the hollow body and corresponds to the first channel to sense an ambient temperature and a test object temperature. The second photo sensor is disposed in the cavity portion of the hollow body and corresponds to the second channel to sense the ambient temperature.
In-Mold Non-Time Dependent Determination of Injection Molded Part Ejection Readiness
Non-time dependent measured variables are used to effectively determine an optimal ejection time of a part from a mold cavity. A system and/or approach may first measure at least one non-time dependent variable during an injection molding cycle. The part is ready to be ejected from the mold upon the measured variable reaching a threshold value indicative of, for example, a part temperature dropping below an activation temperature.
MOLD STRUCTURE
Provided is an improved mold structure, including a first mold base, a second mold base and two controllers. The first mold base and the second mold base are operably aligned. When the first mold base and the second mold base are in an aligned state, a mold cavity is jointly framed. Two gas passages, a first mold core and a second mold core are provided. The first mold base is provided with a runner. Two ends thereof are respectively connected to a material tube and a mold cavity of a molding machine. The first and second mold cores are made of porous material. Vent pipelines thereof are connected to the respective gas passages. The two controllers are respectively connected to the gas passages, and control the gas in and out such that the pressure in different areas in the mold cavity reaches a predetermined value, thereby controlling the flow direction of the raw material in the mold cavity.
Remote controller for controlling apparatus by diverting feedback signal from native controller to the remote controller and methods for same
A remote controller can be provided on any apparatus that employs feedback control from a native controller to add functionality to the apparatus where the native controller is not capable of providing such functionality independently.
Resin sealing device and resin sealing method for manufacturing magnet embedded core
A magnet embedded core is manufactured in a stable manner by preventing an excessive pressurizing force from being applied to the laminated iron core and performing the clamping with an appropriate pressurizing force so that the leakage of the resin out of the magnet insertion holes can be minimized, and the reduction in the geometric and dimensional precision of the laminated iron core may be suppressed. An electric die clamping device is used, such that a laminated iron core is placed on one of a fixed die and a moveable die and upon clamping by the die clamping device, the other of the fixed die and the moveable die is caused to abut onto an end surface of the laminated iron core to close openings of magnet insertion holes and pressurize the laminated iron core in a laminating direction.
INJECTION MOLDING OF CROSSLINKING POLYMERS USING STRAIN DATA
Non-time dependent calculated variables based on measured strain are used to effectively determine an optimal hold profile for an expanding crosslinking polymer part in a mold cavity. A system and/or approach may first inject molten expanding crosslinking polymer into a mold cavity, then measure strain at the mold cavity or at another location within the injection molding system, and then calculate at least one non-time dependent variable during an injection molding cycle. Next, the system and/or method commences a hold profile for the part, and upon completing the hold profile, the part is ejected from the mold cavity, whereupon a cure profile is commenced.
REAL TIME MATERIAL AND VELOCITY CONTROL IN A MOLDING SYSTEM
A system includes a cavity, an injection nozzle configured to inject material into the cavity, and a plurality of sensors at sensor locations. Each of the plurality of sensors is configured to measure parameters at one of the sensor locations. The system lacks a strain gauge. The system further includes a controller configured to control a flow rate of the injection of material into the cavity. The controller is configured to receive the measured parameters and compare the received information to predetermined curves. The controller is configured to control the flow rate when the measured parameters deviate from the predetermined curves.
Mold and transfer molding apparatus
According to one embodiment, a mold includes a substrate clamping surface, a cavity, a suction part, a vent, an intermediate cavity, and an opening/closing part. The substrate clamping surface contacts a surface of a processing substrate. The cavity is recessed from the substrate clamping surface. The suction part is recessed from the substrate clamping surface. The vent is provided on a path between the cavity and the suction part, communicates with the cavity, is recessed from the substrate clamping surface to a vent depth. The intermediate cavity is provided between the vent and the suction part on the path, communicates with the vent, and is recessed from the substrate clamping surface to an intermediate cavity depth deeper than the vent depth. The opening/closing part opens and closes the path and is provided between the intermediate cavity and the suction part on the path.
HOT RUNNER DEVICE
A hot runner device for an injection molding machine, wherein the hot runner device has at least one hot runner system, and at least one sensor, actuator and/or initiator which can be connected to a control and regulating device via one or more signal and/or data paths, in particular lines, wherein process data and/or process signals can be transmitted via the one or more signal and/or data lines, characterized in that the hot runner device further comprises a data acquisition and backup device which is designed at least for acquiring and storing part or all of the process data and/or signals acquired on the hot runner system during operation of the injection molding machine and which is a functionally integral component of the hot runner device.
