FOOTWEAR COMPONENT MANUFACTURING METHODS
Physical foaming a footwear component with a single-phase solution of a polymeric composition and a supercritical fluid is provided. The method include temperature conditioning a mold and then engaging the mold with a robot that conveys the mold to a press. At the press a gas counter pressure is applied to a cavity of the mold before injecting a single-phase solution of a polymeric composition and a supercritical fluid into the cavity of the mold. The process continues with releasing the gas counter pressure from the cavity of the mold and then removing the footwear component from the cavity of the mold. The parameters of the method are configured for the formation of the footwear component in an automated manner.
Mould tool having moving parts
A mould tool (100) has a first part (102) defining a first area (114) of a mould profile, an actuated part (130) defining a second, adjacent area (132) of the mould profile, which actuated part is configured to move from a moulding position to an actuated position at the end of each mould cycle to facilitate removal of a moulded component. The actuated part (130) comprises a temperature control apparatus (108) configured to control the temperature of the actuated part to influence a clearance (C) between the first part and the actuated part by thermal expansion and/or contraction of the actuated part.
Mould for injecting thermoplastics and method for using said mould
Mould for producing plastic items obtained by the injection of thermoplastic material of the “hot melt” or polyamide type, the mould being made of flexible vulcanised silicone, rubber or other elastomers, the mould being formed by two parts which, when facing each other and attached, generate a series of compartments and channels that allow for the introduction of the melted thermoplastic material and the filling of the cavities with the shape of the item desired, and, in turn, allow for a vacuum to be generated, also removing the inside air from the mould by means of a series of conduits and channels; and a method or methodology for producing said plastic items by means of said mould, allowing for the reproduction of short and medium series of items produced with plastic materials, and in which a control system and a mould incorporating a means to be identified can be added to the method.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A COPOLYMER FOAM WITH POLYAMIDE BLOCKS AND POLYETHER BLOCKS
The invention relates to a process for manufacturing a copolymer foam containing polyamide blocks and polyether blocks, comprising the following steps: mixing the copolymer melt with a blowing agent, said copolymer having a coefficient of thermal diffusivity a and a crystallization temperature T.sub.c; providing a mold of thickness h at a temperature T.sub.m; injecting the mixture of the copolymer and of the blowing agent at a temperature T.sub.p, into the closed mold; foaming the mixture by opening the mold;

Manufacturing method and injection molding system
A method including a first step of performing clamping of a mold, injection and dwelling in an injection molding machine, a second step of performing a conveyance and a cooling of the mold outside of the machine, and a third step of performing a conveyance of the mold into the machine, an opening of the mold and an ejection of a molded part in the machine. The second step is performed for a first mold, the third step and the next first step are performed for a second mold. The first mold is conveyed by a first conveyance apparatus which is arranged on one lateral side of the machine. The second mold is conveyed by a second conveyance apparatus which is arranged on the other lateral side and is independently driven from the first conveyance apparatus.
Polylactic acid moulding process
Novel polylactic acid biopolymer systems and methods of producing products with polylactic acid biopolymers are disclosed. Products produced according to the systems and methods disclosed herein have enhanced deflection temperature and improved mechanical performance when compared to conventional injection moulding processes. Systems and methods for compounding polylactic acid biopolymer and creating an object using a polylactic acid biopolymer by extrusion and injection moulding process are described.
HOT RUNNER DEVICE
A hot runner device for an injection molding machine, wherein the hot runner device has at least one hot runner system, and at least one sensor, actuator and/or initiator which can be connected to a control and regulating device via one or more signal and/or data paths, in particular lines, wherein process data and/or process signals can be transmitted via the one or more signal and/or data lines, characterized in that the hot runner device further comprises a data acquisition and backup device which is designed at least for acquiring and storing part or all of the process data and/or signals acquired on the hot runner system during operation of the injection molding machine and which is a functionally integral component of the hot runner device.

INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE AND CONTROL DEVICE OF INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
An injection molding machine includes: a cylinder that holds a molding material to be injected into a mold; a plasticizing member provided in the cylinder so as to be movable and rotatable; a temperature measurer that measures a temperature of the cylinder or of the mold; and a period setting unit configured to set a cold start prevention period, which is a period for restricting the injection of the molding material into the mold, based on the temperature measured by the temperature measurer until a temperature of the molding material or the temperature of the mold rises. The period setting unit stores temperature-time data in which the temperature measured by the temperature measurer is associated with time, and adjusts the cold start prevention period based on an actual temperature of the stored temperature-time data.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN OPTICAL ELEMENT FROM PLASTIC
The disclosure relates to a method for producing an optical element having at least one optically effective surface. The optically effective surface comprises a contour and a surface structure superimposed on the contour. Transparent liquid plastic is injection-molded by means of a (smooth) injection mold of an injection molding machine (500) in dependence on a group of injection molding parameters to form an injection molded component (21) having the contour of the optically effective surface but without the surface structure superimposed on the contour, wherein at least one parameter of the group of injection molding parameters is set and/or corrected in dependence on properties of the injection molded component (21), and wherein the optical element is produced using the group of injection molding parameters.
