Automated caged bird spray applicator system
The disclosure relates to a spray applicator system for accurately and precisely dosing liquid formulations, including vaccines and probiotic formulations, to caged avian animals. In particular, the disclosure relates to spray applicators, having improved acceptance by the avian animals, relative to more disruptive prior spray applicators. The disclosed automated caged spray applicator system is designed to attach to and function with automated poultry feeding systems, routinely used in poultry house settings.
VETERINARY USE AND DELIVERY OF AMMONIA OXIDIZING MICROORGANISMS
A method of treating a disorder in a veterinary subject is provided. The method comprises administering an effective amount of a preparation comprising ammonia oxidizing microorganisms to the veterinary subject, thereby treating the disorder. Methods of introducing ammonia oxidizing microorganisms in a veterinary subject, treating skin of a veterinary subject, and treating a systemic condition in a veterinary subject are also provided. Related preparations, kits, and devices are also provided.
TEMPORAL AND SPATIAL PHOTOGENERATION OF OLFACTORY MOLECULESSPEC
The invention provides a system (1000) for providing olfactory molecules (1220) in an animal residence (200), the system (1000) comprising (a) a radiation system (1100), (b) a precursor material providing system (1200), and (c) a control system (300), wherein: the radiation system (1100) is configured to generate first radiation (1111); the precursor material providing system (1200) is configured to provide precursor material 5 (1210). wherein the precursor material (1210) is configured to be at least partly converted by the first radiation (1111) into the olfactory molecules (1220); and the control system (300) is configured to control generation of the olfactory molecules (1220) by controlling one or more of the radiation system (1100) and the precursor material providing system (1200).
ANIMAL PILL FEEDER
An animal pill feeder having a hollow tube having a first end and a second end, a bulb placed on the first end of the hollow tube, the bulb is adapted to push air through the hollow tube and a bladder placed on the second end of the hollow tube, the bladder contains a pill that is adapted to open and release the pill when the bladder receives the pushed air through the hollow tube after the animal pill feeder is inserted into an animal's or a pet's mouth and behind the animal's or the pet's tongue.
Immune response modifier compositions and methods
The present invention provides an immune response modifier (IRM) composition that includes an IRM moiety and a second active moiety covalently linked to the IRM moiety, wherein the covalent link comprises a labile bond directly attached to the IRM moiety.
APPLICATOR FOR TREATMENTS APPLIED TO ANIMAL SKIN
An applicator including a body with a hair separator and an application aperture. The hair separator and the application aperture are structured to expose a portion of the animal's skin so that the user can see how much of a treatment is being applied and ensure the treatment is applied substantially to the animal's skin.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MAINTAINING THE HYGIENE OF AN ANIMAL
An animal cleaning device for grooming an animal. The animal cleaning device may include a top portion that includes a plurality of actuators and a bottom portion affixed to the top portion. The bottom portion may include a suction vent, a blow vent, a heated airflow vent, a rotating brush, and a formulation dispenser.
Apparatus and Method for topical treatments on Animals
A topical supradermal applicator comprises a liquid reservoir adapted to be coupled in liquid transferring relation with a plurality of applicator tines each having a longitudinal extent adapted to bypass an animals coat and including liquid directing channels operable to conduct liquid to topically transfer liquid beneath the coat. The reservoir comprises a graspable bulb-configured handle providing waisted radially opposed accommodation for an operator's opposed digits, around the periphery of the bulb.
Livestock oiling apparatus with highly compact configuration
A support apparatus for supporting a substance receptive element may have a central axis extending between a top and a bottom of the apparatus, and may include a central base, an upstanding stanchion mounted on the central base and extending toward the top; and a plurality of legs mounted on the base. Each leg is movable between a collapsed position and an expanded position with respect to the base. The collapsed position may correspond to a transport condition of the apparatus and the expanded position may correspond to a deployed condition of the apparatus. The base may include a plurality of mounting structures with each mounting structure being associated with a leg for mounting the leg to the base. The mounting structures may secure the legs to the base in the collapsed position of the transport condition and the expanded position of the deployed condition.
Portable system for dispensing fluids for animals
A portable dispensing device for administering fluids intended for animals comprising a backpack with a main compartment delimited by a rear wall configured to come into contact with the back of the user, an outer wall arranged opposite the rear wall and a side wall linking the rear and outer walls, in addition to a flexible pouch containing the fluid to be administered, placed in said main compartment, in which at least the part of the outer wall of the backpack opposite said pouch is made from a rigid material in order to form a shockproof protection and the pouch is removably secured to the rear wall.
