ANIMAL GROOMING DEVICE WITH FEATURE FOR TOPICAL APPLICATION OF THERAPEUTIC MATERIAL
An animal grooming device includes a body, a plurality of grooming elements secured to the body, an upper peripheral rim extending around a periphery of the body, the upper peripheral rim and top side of the body forming a reservoir to hold therapeutic material therein. An applicator pad is placed within said reservoir to selectively control dispensing of the material through an exposed surface of the applicator pad. Another embodiment includes a plurality of passageways formed through the body in which the material is dispensed from the reservoir or applicator pad through the passageways to a bottom side of the body adjacent to the grooming elements. A method of delivering the therapeutic material by the grooming device is achieved by filling the reservoir and then applying the pressure to the applicator pad causing dispensing of the material onto the animal through the passageways.

Another method includes preventing or mitigating stress experienced by an animal by selective delivery of the therapeutic material onto the animal.
EZ ears
A pet ear cleaning device is disclosed for gently cleaning an animal's ears. The device can be used for home or veterinary use. The device comprises a nozzle, a liquid reservoir in fluid communication with the nozzle, an internal pump assembly, and a tip for cleaning a pet's ear. A user would press a manual dispensing component which would activate the internal pump assembly which would then draw fluid from the liquid reservoir and transfer it to the nozzle. The liquid reservoir is typically a reusable reservoir that a user would re-fill with ear cleaning solution when empty, or it can be a replacement cartridge. Further, the nozzle and tip typically comprise male and female interlocking components for retaining the tip on the nozzle. After use, a user would discard the tip via a manually operated discard component that allows a user to remove the soiled tip hands free.
Insecticide strip and combination with identification ear tag
An insecticide impregnated strip configured for convenient and reliable attachment to conventional animal ear tags. The insecticide strip comprises an elongated integrally molded member having a key-hole shaped aperture formed in an upper portion thereof, enabling the elongated strip to be pendularly suspended from the ear tag. Various methods are disclosed for attaching the strip to different types of known ear tags.
REMOVABLE CONTAINER FOR LIVESTOCK TAGS
An animal health product container is described. The animal health product container is provided with a body, a bonding material and a pull tab. The body has a first face and a second face. The body is constructed of a weather resistant material impregnated with an animal health product compound. The bonding material attached to the first face of the body. The bonding material is configured to be weather resistant and allow the body to be removably attached to a tag body of an identification tag for an animal. The pull-tab is attached to the body, the pull tab devoid of the bonding material.
Animal cleaning, drying and/or treatment apparatus
The invention relates to apparatus and a method for performing cleaning, treatment and/or drying of an animal, such as a pet animal, with the apparatus including a housing and base defining a cavity in which the said animal is located, a supply of liquid, means for dispensing the liquid into the said cavity and onto the said animal and a drainage assembly to allow the liquid to be removed from the said cavity. Drying means can also be provided to allow the animal's coat to be dried whilst in the cavity.
Livestock Management Apparatus and Method
An apparatus and method directionally administers at least one medication directly onto livestock while also monitoring the effect of the medication and tracking the movement and orientation of the livestock. The apparatus periodically administers the medication at a predetermined dosage. The apparatus also tracks the position and orientation of the livestock as an indication of whether the medication is effective. A solar cell provides renewable energy for powering the apparatus. A dispenser directionally and topically sprays medication on the wither area of the livestock. The medication is stored in at least one reservoir. A tracking portion tracks the position of the livestock in a predetermined range. The orientation of the livestock is also determined. The apparatus can be controlled directly from a control portion, or remotely from a remote processor. The apparatus minimize time and costs for managing livestock, especially over large areas and large numbers of livestock.
Livestock oiling apparatus with highly compact configuration
A support apparatus for supporting a substance receptive element may have a central axis extending between a top and a bottom of the apparatus, and may include a central base, an upstanding stanchion mounted on the central base and extending toward the top; and a plurality of legs mounted on the base. Each leg is movable between a collapsed position and an expanded position with respect to the base. The collapsed position may correspond to a transport condition of the apparatus and the expanded position may correspond to a deployed condition of the apparatus. The base may include a plurality of mounting structures with each mounting structure being associated with a leg for mounting the leg to the base. The mounting structures may secure the legs to the base in the collapsed position of the transport condition and the expanded position of the deployed condition.
Livestock medicinal applicator system
A livestock treatment application system that may be retrofitted onto existing animal processing structures. The livestock treatment application system typically includes an application subsystem that only applies one or more livestock treatment liquid to an upward-facing surface of an animal. The application subsystem may include at least one livestock treatment liquid containing container, an electromechanical pump fluidly connected to the at least one livestock treatment liquid containing container via at least one flexible fluid transport line where the at least one flexible fluid transport line interconnects the at least one livestock treatment liquid containing container and the electromechanical pump and a nozzle, and a user activated switch on an exterior surface of the waterproof junction box configured to activate the electromechanical pump and dispense the at least one livestock treatment liquid upon activation of the user activated switch by a user; and a dosing selection subsystem system.
ANIMAL WASHING SYSTEM
A method includes identifying, by a processing device, a valve actuation schedule of an animal washing system. The method further includes selectively actuating, by the processing device, each valve of the animal washing system. Each of the valves provides fluid to a corresponding spray device of the animal washing system to wash an animal located at least partially in an interior volume formed by an enclosure structure of the animal washing system.
