An injection molding machine (10) includes an ultrasonic viscosity sensor (20), and the ultrasonic viscosity sensor (20) includes an ultrasonic vibration portion in contact with resin filled in a cylinder (12).

METHOD, SYSTEM, AND APPARATUS FOR INJECTION MOLDING

A system, method and apparatus for controlling an injection unit to transfer a material to a mold cavity includes a first actuator and a second actuator, and a controller that is operatively connected to the first actuator and the second actuator. The first and second actuators are coupled to a ram of the injection unit. The first actuator rotates the ram within the barrel, and the second actuator translates the ram within the barrel. During a material fill stage of an injection cycle, the controller controls the first actuator to rotate the ram within the barrel. The controller also controls the second actuator to translate the ram within the barrel, and controls the second actuator to retract the ram away from a nozzle of the injection unit while exerting a compression force on the ram towards the nozzle.

Cured transparent rubber article, and manufacturing process for the same

The present disclosure provides a process for preparing a cured transparent rubber composition containing a synthetic isoprene polymer(s), a transparent polymer(s), a curing agent and additives. The process includes mixing the components at a temperature ranging from 50 to 130° C., curing the compound with peroxide and allowing the compound to mature. The maturated compound is fed to an injection molding machine. The cured transparent rubber composition prepared using the methods described herein has a haze of less than 30% and a total light transmission of more than 80%. The disclosure further provides an article including the cured transparent rubber composition, in particular for medical applications and artificial nipples.

RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE MANUFACTURING DEVICE, AND MANUFACTURING DEVICE CONTROL METHOD

A manufacturing apparatus for manufacturing a resin molded article includes: an injection molding part configured to inject resin into an injection mold and injection-mold the resin molded article; a control unit configured to control the injection by the injection molding part; a calculation unit configured to calculate a pressure reduction curve for reducing a pressure generated by the injection; and an input unit via which a user inputs a condition of the pressure reduction curve, in which the control unit is configured to control the injection based on the pressure reduction curve.

STABILIZED ADAPTIVE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM PRESSURE IN AN INJECTION MOLDING SYSTEM

In one aspect, there is provided an injection molding system configured to operate in a plurality of cycles. The system comprises, amongst other things, a controller that is configured for performing a comparison of a variable pressure setpoint with a target pressure value. The controller is configured to, when the target pressure value is less than the variable pressure setpoint by at least a predetermined lower bound, (i) decrease the variable pressure setpoint to a reduced variable pressure setpoint and (ii) not further decrease the variable pressure setpoint from the reduced variable pressure setpoint until the pump assembly operates for a plurality of stabilizing cycles at the reduced variable pressure setpoint.
