DEVICE COMPRISING A MOTORIZED CONVEYOR FOR CONVEYING A FLOW OF HARVESTED CROP
A device including at least one motorized conveyor for conveying a flow of harvested crop between an upstream end and a downstream end of the conveyor along a longitudinal direction. The device further including at least one sensor that monitors a longitudinal inclination of the device relative to a nominal orientation of the device. The device computes a conveyor speed based on the monitored longitudinal inclination, the conveyor speed being adapted to maintain conveying kinematics of the harvested crop independent from the longitudinal inclination; and the device operates the motorized conveyor at the computed conveyor speed.
Separator for a grape collection unit
Provided is a separator for separating harvested berries from other plant matter, particularly to a separator that can be fitted to, positioned above, or integrated with, a collection bin and as such allows for material harvested by an automatic berry harvester to be processed prior to deposition of the berries in the collection bin. In particular the berry harvester can be a grape harvester.
Universal vineyard tillage and spray carrier
An apparatus for tending to rows of vines is presented which may be pulled, or driven, between a pair of rows of a vineyard. The apparatus includes implements to tend to the vines on both rows at the same time. The apparatus include a left portion that tends to a left row of vines and right portion that tends to a right row of vines. The portions are attached to the apparatus using linkages that permit the portions to adjust to changes in row spacing or the position of the apparatus between the rows. The apparatus also includes weeder assemblies that weed the ground between the vines while preventing damage to the vines, and a spray device for spraying the vines.
Harvesting Machine Comprising a Harvesting Unit and a System for Recovering the Crop Detached by Said Harvesting Unit
A harvesting machine including a harvesting unit and a system for recovering crop detached by the harvesting unit. The recovering system including at least one conveyor adapted to recover the crop detached by the harvesting unit and to convey the crop along a conveying path. The recovering system comprising a removing device for removing debris elements that might be conveyed with the detached crop. The removing device including two rotary organs which form therebetween a mouth that is adjacent to the conveying path to be able to catch debris elements protruding from the conveyor. The mouth converging into an inner gripping zone formed by a narrow gap between the rotary organs. The removing device further including a drive unit for the rotation of at least one of the two rotary organs to extract from the conveyor any debris element caught by the mouth and then gripped between the rotary organs.
PLANT PHENOTYPING TECHNIQUES USING MECHANICAL MANIPULATION, AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods for plant phenotyping using mechanical manipulation are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method for plant phenotyping includes: agitating a plant with an agitator; acquiring images of the plant with a camera while agitating the plant; and analyzing the images of the plant to determine properties of the plant. The plant may be at least partially agitated at a resonance frequency of oscillation of a stalk of the plant.
Cleaning fan for a fruit harvester
A cleaning fan for use in a cleaning system of a fruit harvester includes a housing and a rotor disposed within the housing. The rotor includes a hub and a plurality of blades. The cleaning fan is configured as a mixed flow fan combining high-volume flow characteristics with increased pressure delivery characteristics. The hub is a frustroconical shaped hub with an axis of rotation, a smaller diameter inlet end, and a larger diameter outlet end. Each of the blades is attached to the hub and curves from the inlet end toward the outlet end, relative to a direction of rotation of the rotor, whereby air is blown during operation both axially and radially.
SEPARATOR FOR A FRUIT COLLECTION UNIT
A separator for separating harvested fruit from other plant matter. The separator can be fitted to, positioned above, or integrated with, a collection bin and as such allows for material harvested by an automatic fruit harvester to be processed prior to deposition of the fruit in the collection bin.
Device for thinning in fruit growing
A device (1) for thinning in fruit growing includes at least one support (3) connected to a tube (2) to which are connected to one or More flexible elements/whips (6), the support (3) connected by at least one plate (10) to an operating machine. The tube (2) is connected to at least one air compressor to supply at least air with variable pressure and/or flow rate to the tube (2), the tube (2) being crossed by the flow of air flowing in the one or more flexible elements (6). The flexible elements/whips (6) are hollow and are able to move when crossed by the flow of air, the movement of the whips modulated by compressed air. The whips (6) have a random oscillatory movement for striking the parts to be thinned with a modulated force depending on the pressure and flow rate of the air flow delivered.
Sorting table with sorter rolls for elimination of foreign matter remaining mixed in a harvest of small fruit
Sorting table with sorter rolls eliminates foreign matter remaining mixed in with the products of the harvest of small fruit. The sorting table features a sorting system constituted by a succession of rotating rolls of cylindrical shape arranged in parallel so as to form a mobile sorting plane, and a locomotion device, allowing the rotating drive of the rolls in the same direction, so as to allow transporting the grapes dumped on the upstream part of this sorting plane, in a direction that is perpendicular to the axis of the rotating cylindrical rolls and over the entire length of the sorting plane. The rotating cylindrical rolls allow the passage and drop-off of only the small fruit to be sorted, whereas the foreign matter of a size larger than that of the latter remains on the surface of the mobile sorting plane and is evacuated at the downstream end.
Agitated harvester conveyor
A conveyor system includes a conveyor with openings, a conveyor motor coupled with the conveyor, and an agitator that is configured to impart an agitating motion to the conveyor motor to aid in the separation of materials.
