Flexible draper and cutter bar having shiftable crop divider with deflector
A harvesting machine includes a harvesting header with a header frame, a cutterbar assembly attached to the header frame along the length thereof and configured to cut a crop, and a draper assembly positioned behind the cutterbar assembly and operable to receive severed crop material from the cutterbar assembly. The draper assembly includes a center draper that delivers crop material to a feeder house of the harvesting machine and oppositely spaced side drapers that deliver crop material to the center draper. The harvesting header is operable to flex and thereby follow an uneven terrain.
Harvesting device with guide element adopting different positions
Harvesting device (10) of an agricultural harvesting machine, having a mower (11) for mowing harvested crops, having a conditioning apparatus (14) with conditioning rolls (15, 16) arranged downstream of the mower (11) for conditioning the mown harvested crops, having a transverse conveying apparatus (18) arranged downstream of the conditioning apparatus (14) for conveying the conditioned harvested crops, having a guide element (20) in order to transfer the conditioned harvested crops from the conditioning apparatus (15) onto the transverse conveying apparatus (18), wherein the guide element (20) is configured to be deflectable such that the guide element (20) adopts a position as a function of a harvested crop mass flow to be transferred from the conditioning apparatus (15) onto the transverse conveying apparatus (18).
Header for harvesting stalk-like plants with a picking gap oriented transversely to the direction of travel
A header for harvesting stalk-like plants includes a number of gatherer assemblies arranged side by side for cutting off and conveying plants to a picking device arranged downstream of the gatherer assemblies. The picking device extends transversely to a direction of travel over the entire working width of at least one half of the header and includes a picking gap and stalk roll below the picking gap to separate fruits from the plants and to deliver them for a separate utilization.
EFFICIENT REED HARVESTER
An efficient reed harvester, including a preharvest detection unit, a cutting device, a conveyor device, a baling-stacking device, a chassis, and a control unit, where the preharvest detection unit is configured to detect height information of reeds in a preharvest region, and transmit to the control unit; the conveyor device is configured to gather and clamp stems of the reeds, and convey the stems backward to the baling-stacking device; the control unit is configured to calculate an average height h.sub.avg of the reeds in the preharvest region according to the height information of the reeds in the preharvest region, and adjust a height of the conveyor device according to the average height of the reeds; and the control unit is configured to control the baling-stacking device to stack the small bales of reeds vertically or horizontally, and knot the small bales of reeds into the big bale.
DRAPER TRACK
A draper track assembly is provided for use on a draper header for harvesting agricultural crops, where the draper header includes a header frame. The draper track assembly comprises a draper track, a support clamp and an intermediary support. The draper track has a track portion extending longitudinally from an inboard end to an outboard end and a mounting channel extending from a bottom of the track portion. The support clamp is configured to be fixedly coupled to the mounting channel. The support clamp also is configured to be fixedly coupled to a header frame. The intermediary support has a bracket. The bracket and the mounting channel are configured to interlock with each other to prevent lateral movement between the draper track and the intermediary support while allowing longitudinal expansion of the draper track. The intermediary support is configured to be fixedly coupled to the header frame.
Crop pick-up header
A crop pick-up header (2) according to the invention comprises a frame (10) and a rotatable reel (13) configured to collect crops from the ground, as well as a rotatable auger (20) provided with two oppositely wound helicoidal flights (26). The auger is rotatable about its central axis with respect to a pair of support arms (21) which are themselves pivotable relative to the frame, so that the pivoting movement of the arms results in lowering or raising the auger. The height position of the auger (20) is a function of the crop throughput and of the auger's rotational speed. The header of the invention is equipped with at least one sensor (30) configured to measure the height position of the auger or a parameter representative thereof. The header comprises or is coupled to a control unit (31) configured to control the auger's rotational speed as a function of the detected height position, determined through the sensor (30). In particular, the auger speed is lowered when the auger drops below a predefined height, so that lower throughput is compensated by a lower auger speed, thereby ensuring efficient chopping in a harvester to which the 20 header is coupled, even when the crop yield drops below a given level.
