Tooling and process for injection stretch blow molded container with integral handle
Injection stretch blow molding tooling for forming at least one parison and at least one stretch blown article having an integral handle. The tooling includes at least one cavity block, a body mold supported within the cavity block, a handle mold supported within the cavity block, and a thread split assembly positioned adjacent to said cavity block. The thread split assembly includes first and second thread split halves shiftable between an open position and a closed position. As such, the body mold, the handle mold, and the thread split assembly cooperatively define a parison-forming cavity, with such parison-forming cavity including a body cavity for forming a body of the parison and a handle cavity for forming a handle of the parison.
Method for producing a bottle using a multifunctional detabber apparatus
A multifunctional detabber apparatus and method for producing bottles having a bottom surface with a hook projection integrally molded with and extending from the bottom surface in a deployed position. The bottom surface also includes at least one locking channel in order to receive and releasably secure the hook projection in a non-deployed position. The multifunctional detabber apparatus includes at least a grabber, a trimmer, and a hook closer. The grabber includes first and second jaws which surround the bottle and prevent movement. The trimmer includes first and second strikers for creating an outer periphery of the hook projection and an opening in the hook projection. The hook closer includes a mandrel that extends to bend and secure the hook projection in the locking channel in the bottom surface of the bottle.
MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR FORMING A CONTAINER FROM A PREFORM WITH A HANDLE NOTCH
A method for forming a container with an integral handle includes heating a preform having an integral handle in a first oven, stretching the preform, closing a first mold having a first mold recess and a second mold having a second mold recess around the preform, and blowing air into the preform. A handle pocket wedge block is inserted into a handle pocket of the integral handle of the preform within the first mold and the second mold.
METHOD FOR FORMING A CONTAINER BY MOVING THE HANDLE DURING BLOWING
A method of forming a container from bi-axially orientable plastics material and having an integral handle with the steps of forming a preform having a neck portion and an expandable portion below the neck portion with the neck portion including a locating ring above the expandable portion and a handle molded to the non expandable at one end and molded to the expandable portion at the other end. Where the molded-in handle is the approximate length of the handle of the finished container. The unblown preform of orientable plastics is inserted into a blow molder and thereafter stretched by a stretch rod. During the stretch process the handle on the preform unbends rather than stretching to form the approximate shape of the handle in the finished container. The blow mold then closes on the stretched preform thus capturing the handle. Blow gas is then injected into the interior.
TOOLING, SYSTEM, AND PROCESS FOR INJECTION STRETCH BLOW MOLDED CONTAINER WITH INTEGRAL HANDLE
Stretch blow station tooling for stretch blowing at least one parison into a molded article, with such parison including a handle. The tooling comprises at least one blow mold assembly including first and second blow mold halves shiftable between an open position and a closed position. The first and second blow mold halves each include a body cavity surface formed therein. In the closed position, the body cavity surfaces of the first and second blow mold halves are aligned to define a blow cavity for receiving at least a portion of the parison. The tooling further comprises a plunger assembly including a plunger configured to be selectively positioned within the blow cavity. When the plunger is positioned within the blow cavity, the plunger is configured to contact the handle of the parison.
Method for forming a variable thickness preform for a bottle
A method for forming a preform for a container having a hollow cylindrical main body having a first thickness, a hollow cylindrical thick portion having a second thickness greater than the first thickness, and a curved end portion. Inner surfaces of the main body, the thick portion, and the end portion form a cavity.
DUAL CONTAINER, REGENERATED RESIN PRODUCTION METHOD, PREFORM, AND METHOD FOR EXTRACTING INNER BAG OF DUAL CONTAINER
A dual container, including a container body and a mouth portion attachment. The container body includes an inner bag and an outer shell that is disposed to cover the inner bag, and the inner bag is configured to be extractable from the container body, and the mouth portion attachment is attached to a mouth portion of the inner bag and is configured to be removable from the mouth portion.
Blow-molding mold, bottle blowing machine and plastic bottle
Provided are a blow-molding mold, a bottle blowing machine and a plastic bottle, the blow-molding mold has a mold cavity, where a bottle body, a bottle shoulder, a handle and a bottle neck are formed within the mold cavity after a bottle preform is blown, the bottle shoulder is located between the bottle body and the bottle neck, one end of the handle is connected to the bottle shoulder, the other end of the handle is connected to the bottle shoulder or the bottle neck, and the mold cavity includes a first concave region to have a raised step structure formed on the bottle neck.
Continuous blow moulding machine, preforms, system and process
A continuously rotating, non-symmetric preform feed, stretch-blow-moulding machine dedicated to the stretch-blow-moulding of containers from non-symmetric injection moulded preforms; the non-symmetric preforms including an integral handle extending from a first junction point to a second junction point on a body of the preform; the body of the preform and the integral handle constituted from the same material.
Bottle blowing mold, bottle blowing machine and plastic bottle
Provided are a bottle blowing mold, a bottle blowing machine and a plastic bottle, the bottle blowing mold includes a mold cavity, where a bottle body, a bottle shoulder, a handle and a bottle neck are formed within the mold cavity after a bottle preform is blown, the bottle shoulder is located between the bottle body and the bottle neck, one end of the handle is connected to the bottle shoulder, an other end of the handle is connected to the bottle shoulder or the bottle neck, and a cavity wall of the mold cavity is provided with at least one first rib to have a non-closed or annularly closed first groove is formed on the bottle body.
