The curing press for a tire blank includes a frame and a plurality of circumferentially distributed segments which are capable of forming a tread for the tire. Each of the segments has at least one opening. For each segment, at least one tie rod is mounted slidably and rotatably in the opening of the segment on the one hand and hinged to the frame on the other hand. The mounting and hinging form the only connections of the tie rod to elements of the press other than the tie rod.

A mechanism releases a plate from a recess in a tire mold part. The mechanism includes a bolt insertable into a hole in the tire mold part and extending from a first end at an outer surface of the tire mold part to a second end at a recess for a pocket plate in the tire mold part. The first end of the bolt has an axially extending projection allowing manipulation of the bolt about an axis within the hole. The projection is defined by two diametrically opposite curved surfaces interconnected by two diametrically opposite planar surfaces.

The saw cut comprises a pair of circumferential saw cuts arranged to be spaced in a tire diametrical direction, a grid-like saw cut which is expanded between the pair of circumferential saw cuts, and a plurality of frame-like saw cuts which are dotted between the pair of circumferential saw cuts. The frame-like saw cuts fringe a closed area which is wider than a smooth area defined by the grid-like saw cut. The grid-like saw cut surrounds the frame-like saw cuts to prevent the frame-like saw cuts from coming into contact with each other. The frame-like saw cuts are coupled to each other via the grid-like saw cut.

A gas circulating fan is provided on the ring seat assembly; a rotating shaft for driving the gas circulating fan to rotate is provided in the cylinder assembly; the driving member drives the rotating shaft to rotate; and the sealing hood isolates the driving member, such that high-temperature and high-pressure gas in the mold assembly cannot damage the driving member, thereby increasing the service life of the driving member.
