SEALING DEVICE FOR TUBELESS TIRES
A sealing device comprising a flexible holding strip having an adhesive layer on a first surface, wherein the strip is configured for attachment to an inner surface of a tubeless tire via the adhesive layer, and a plurality of flexible flags attached to a second surface of the flexible holding strip opposite the first surface, wherein the plurality of flags is attached to the second surface at a fixed widthwise edge of each of the plurality of flags and wherein the plurality of flags are configured to seal a hole in the tubeless tire when the strip is attached to the inner surface of the tubeless tire is provided. Methods of protecting tires by attaching a sealing device are also described.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
Provided is a pneumatic tire having sufficient sealing performance. The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire including a sealant layer located radially inside an innerliner, the sealant layer being formed by applying a sealant to the inner periphery of a tire from which mold release agents have been removed.
PNEUMATIC TIRE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
Provided are a pneumatic tire in which the attachment start portion of the sealant does not easily peel off, and a method for producing the pneumatic tire. The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire including a generally string-shaped adhesive sealant, the sealant being continuously and spirally attached at least to the inner periphery of the tire that corresponds to a tread portion, the sealant having a wider portion at at least one of the longitudinal ends thereof, the wider portion having a width larger than that of the longitudinally adjoining portion.
Rolling Assembly
Adapter for a rolling assembly comprising a tire, and a rim having two rim seats and two rim flanges. The adapter has an axially inner end mounted on the rim seat and comprises an inner reinforcing element, an axially outer end that comprises an outer reinforcing element, a body that connects the two ends to form a single piece. A substantially cylindrical adapter seat is configured to receive a bead, and is situated at the axially outer end of the body. An adapter bearing face is substantially contained in a plane perpendicular to the rotation axis, and situated on the axially inner face of the axially outer end. The reinforcing element of the axially outer end is entirely situated axially outside the bearing face. The body comprises, opposite the adapter seat, an annular seat reinforcer. The inner wall of the tire is covered by a layer of a self-sealing composition.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
A pneumatic tire in which a sealing layer can be provided at a desired position on an inner circumferential surface of the tire is provided. The pneumatic tire (10) includes a tire frame member (12) formed in a circular shape and made of a resin, and a sealing layer provided by fixing a sealant housing member (34) internally filled with a sealant (38) to an inner circumferential surface of the tire frame member (12).
Aerosol dispensing cap for automated installation
A device for dispensing pressurized air and/or tire sealant from a pressurized can. The device comprising a cap body, a depressor button with a lock clip, and a hose positioned within the cap body attached to the pressurized can. The lock clip locks the depressor button in the compressed position for ease during use, while a shield element keeps the depressor button in the non-compressed position for safety during non-use. The hose provides an extension to attach to a tire stem valve, while being stored and attached to the cap body of the device.
Method for testing the resistance of a tyre to pressure loss
A method for testing a punctured tyre's resistance to a loss in pressure includes: creating a plurality of punctures in a wall of the tyre by inserting a plurality of puncturing objects through the wall; running the tyre with the puncturing objects in the wall thereof over a given distance with a regulated inflation pressure; stopping the running of the tyre; and determining, for each puncture, a pressure loss resistance index based on an estimate of a leak rate of the puncture.
DEVICE FOR ASSISTING COATING OF RADIAL SELF-SEALING TIRE OF TRUCK AND BUS
A device for assisting the coating of a radial self-sealing tire of trucks and buses, including: a support frame and a positioning frame. Both ends of a top of a side of the support frame are fixedly provided with a first bearing through a bearing seat, respectively. Two first bearings are arranged coaxially, and the positioning frame is rotatably connected between the two first bearings. Two chutes are arranged inside the support frame and opposite to a fixing frame. The two chutes are slidably connected with a sliding connection seat, respectively. A lifting frame is arranged between two sliding connection seats.
Sealant Layer Assembly
A sealant layer assembly which allows a sealant layer to be applied on a tire outside of tire production plants. The assembly comprises a sealant layer to be applied on the surface of an inner liner layer facing the inner cavity of a tire, a net layer arranged on a first surface of the sealant layer, and at least one non-stick protective layer arranged either on a second surface of the sealant layer opposite the first surface or on the net layer.
Motor vehicle comprising a compressor assembly
A motor vehicle with a compressor assembly for the supply of a pressure medium to a tire cavity of a tire of a motor vehicle. The compressor assembly has a compression chamber which is rotationally fixed in relation to the motor vehicle wheel, and the compression chamber and the tire cavity are connected via a fluidic connection for the conveying of a pressure medium from the compression chamber into the tire cavity. A tire sealing device has a sealant reservoir with a first connection fluidically connected to a tire cavity of a tire of the motor vehicle to be repaired, and a second connection fluidically connected to a pressure medium source secured to the motor vehicle. The sealant is conveyed out of the pressure medium source into the tire cavity of the tire to be repaired by means of the pressure medium.
