Plastic Tube Sealing Device
A plastic tube sealing device includes a clamp which has a pair of jaws that can move relative to each other for inserting and crimping a plastic tube, the jaws containing high-frequency (HF) jaw electrodes, and includes an electrical HF power supply circuit including an HF generator and the HF jaw electrodes. The plastic tube sealing device further includes an impedance control device (9) for acting towards maintaining an impedance of the HF power supply circuit constant during a respective welding operation by correspondingly controlling the variable impedance HF resonant circuit. For this purpose, the HF generator includes a variable impedance HF resonant circuit with a capacitor unit and a coil unit, and includes the jaw electrodes, wherein the inductance of the coil unit and/or the ohmic resistance of the HF resonant circuit is/are variably adjustable and/or wherein the capacitance of the capacitor unit is variably adjustable and the capacitor unit has an electrically controllable capacitance diode or at least one movable capacitance-altering capacitor electrode arranged in the clamp.
Plastic Tube Sealing Device
A plastic tube sealing device includes a clamp which has a pair of jaws that can move relative to each other for inserting and crimping a plastic tube, the jaws containing high-frequency (HF) jaw electrodes, and includes an electrical HF power supply circuit including an HF generator and the HF jaw electrodes. The plastic tube sealing device further includes an impedance control device (9) for acting towards maintaining an impedance of the HF power supply circuit constant during a respective welding operation by correspondingly controlling the variable impedance HF resonant circuit. METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING AN EMBOSSED SANDING SPONGE
A method and apparatus for manufacturing an embossed sanding sponge includes a first roller, a press base, and a conveyor. The first roller is mounted about an axis and configured to be rotatably driven about the axis. The first roller also includes a circumferential surface having a predetermined channel pattern. The press base is positioned proximate to the first roller and configured to compress the sponge material against the first roller. The conveyor has a support surface configured to translate and support the sponge material. In use, the circumferential surface of the roller engages the sponge material. The roller and the sponge material respectively rotate and translate in order to continuously press the predetermined channel pattern against the sponge material for manufacturing the embossed sanding sponge.
Heat sealing thru food contaminants
A container is provided with a flange defining a container opening that may help expunge food product as the film and seal head comes down on the container flange. The flange of the container opening has a predetermined angle. The container flange with its sealing surface generally deflects or angularly pivots when sealed with the film during the sealing process. The container flange and film may push product contamination from the sealing surfaces inwardly into the container. The flange may be continuous about the periphery of the container opening.
