Vest for Providing Cooling Temperatures to a Dog
The invention relates to a dog vest for providing a cooling sensation to a dog to prevent overheating or heat exhaustion. The dog vest includes a permeable material layer for receiving and distributing a cooling material across a dog's back. The permeable material providing a surface for the cooling material to evaporate thereby lowering the dog's body heat. The invention further includes a pocket placed in proximity of a dog's chest. The pocket is capable of receiving a cooling agent and providing the cooling sensation to the dog's chest.

Headwear Interface for Animals
A headwear device is provided for the comfortable and secure positioning of a hat on the head of an animal, such as a dog. The device features a body having an interior adapted to engage the head of the animal with side portions having openings therein adapted for encircling the ears of the animal during wearing of the headwear. A position-adjustable fastener adapted for locating under the chin of the animal, is slidably engageable with both of two straps connected to opposing sides of the hat body. A slide adjuster on both of the first and second straps may be employed to cinch both straps and tighten the engagement on the head of the animal.

A pet diaper extends in a lateral direction along a waist of a pet and in a longitudinal direction from a ventral side to a dorsal side of the pet, the lateral direction being orthogonal to the longitudinal direction, and the pet diaper includes: a main body including: an absorbent core; and a tail hole having a longitudinally elongated shape with a largest opening width in the longitudinal direction that is larger than a largest opening width in the lateral direction; a pair of fastening tabs, disposed closer to the ventral side than is the tail hole, that extend outward from a lateral side edge of the main body; and a target portion, disposed closer to the dorsal side than is the tail hole, that engages with the pair of fastening tabs.
Animal back support apparatus
An animal back support apparatus includes a main back support, a chest harness and an optional lumbar support component. The main back support features relatively rigid stays placed over the spine and one on each side of the spine and foam inlays to conform to the pets back between the pets back and the rigid stays. The animal back support apparatus also includes a first side panel on one side of the main back support and a second side panel on an opposite side of the main back support where the first and second side panels extend towards the abdomen of the animal and interact with each other to encircle the torso of the animal. The chest harness attaches to the main support layer.
