WATER-SOLUBLE UNIT DOSE ARTICLE
Water-soluble unit dose article and a method of making.
WATER-SOLUBLE FILMS, WATER-SOLUBLE UNIT DOSE ARTICLES, AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
Water-soluble films, water-soluble unit dose articles, and related methods of making and using the same.
Method for the Manufacture and Decoration of a Mineral-filled Resin Shower Tray with an External Coating, and Shower Tray Obtained by Said Method
A method for the manufacture and decoration of a mineral-filled resin shower tray with an external coating, including the steps of applying an external coating layer on the internal surface of a mould, casting a mix of resin and mineral filler on the mould, curing and drying the mix, and including the prior steps of disposing on the internal surface of the mould cavity a transfer film including on one of the sides thereof a pattern printed in ink, vacuum thermoforming the transfer film against the internal surface of the mould cavity, and the subsequent step of removing the film from the surface of the mineral-filled resin shower tray with an external coating.
WATER DISPERSIBLE POLYMER FOR USE IN ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
A water dispersible sulfo-polyamide is configured as a filament for use as an extrudable support material in the additive manufacture of a part comprising a non water dispersible polymer. The water dispersible sulfo-polyamide is a reaction product of a sulfo monomer, the water dispersible sulfo-polymer being dispersible in water resulting in separation of the water dispersible polymer from the part comprising the non water dispersible polymer.
Method for producing a hollow support from a fiber composite material, core designed as a hollow body, use of said core, and use of said hollow support made from fiber composite
The application relates to a method for producing a hollow support from a fiber composite material, to a core designed as a hollow body, to the use of said core, and to the use of said hollow support made from fiber composite material.
Polymeric materials and articles manufactured there from
A water-soluble polyurethane derived from: polyethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol-block-polypropylene glycol-block-polyethylene glycol polymer, polypropylene glycol-block-polyethylene glycol-block-polypropylene and mixtures thereof, 1,1′-Carbonyldiimidazole, polyamine and mixtures thereof.
Portion unit of a cleaning agent
A portion unit of a cleaning agent, having a cleaning agent composition and a chamber which receives the cleaning agent composition and includes a chamber wall that delimits the chamber and has a layer thickness D. The chamber includes a main volume and at least one auxiliary volume, and the cleaning agent composition can freely enter the at least one auxiliary volume from the main volume and vice versa, wherein the chamber wall is formed in a transition region between the main volume and the at least one auxiliary volume in a substantially stepped manner. The invention additionally relates to a method for producing such a portion unit.
Method of making a water-soluble polymer composition
A method of creating a processable water soluble polymer, the method comprising the steps of: extruding a water soluble polymer composition from an extruder barrel without use of a die, wherein the extruder barrel is not vented other than via its extruder outlet, to produce an irregularly shaped polymer extrudate; directing the irregularly shaped polymer extrudate onto a chilled conveyor to cool the irregularly shaped polymer extrudate to below 60° C.; and granulating the irregularly shaped polymer extrudate to form a granulate.
WATER-SOLUBLE PLASTIC ARTICLE
A plastic product has a plastic body injection-moulded or deep-drawn from water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH). The surface of the plastic body, which is exposed to ambient moisture or a water-containing substance from completion of the plastic product up to and during the intended use of the plastic product is completely coated with a continuous, water-impermeable and water-resistant protective layer and the plastic body can be completely dissolved in water after the intended use of the plastic product when a non-coated surface is exposed or after the continuous protective layer is destroyed. The protective layer is applied so thinly that it disintegrates or can be separated out of the water after the dissolution of the plastic body, and/or the protective layer (3) has a melting temperature between 50° C. and 90° C., preferably 60° C. to 85° C.
WATER-SOLUBLE FILM AND PACKAGE
There is provided a water-soluble film containing polyvinyl alcohol resin, wherein a ratio RSm (LD/TD) is 1.2 or greater and 2.5 or less, where the RSm (LD/TD) is the ratio of an average length RSm (LD) of roughness curve elements on at least one film surface in the longitudinal direction to an average length RSm (TD) of roughness curve elements on the same film surface in the transverse direction. This allows provision of a water-soluble film that can be suitably used for manufacturing a package with excellent uniformity of seal strength, even for manufacturing a package with excellent uniformity of seal strength during high-speed sealing; and a package using the film.
