METHODS AND APPARATUS TO COUPLE A DECORATIVE LAYER TO A PANEL VIA A HIGH-BOND ADHESIVE LAYER
Methods and apparatus to couple a decorative layer to a panel via a high-bond adhesive layer are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a panel, a high-bond adhesive layer fixed to the panel, a liner fixed to the high-bond adhesive layer that is fixed to the panel, and a first decorative layer removably coupled to the liner that is fixed to the high-bond adhesive layer via a second adhesive layer. The high-bond adhesive layer is to impede at least one of gas or vapor from escaping the panel to deter the at least one of gas or vapor from exerting a pressure on the first decorative layer to deter a portion of the first decorative layer from separating from the panel.
Resin Composition
The resin composition of the present invention comprises 40 to 98 parts by mass of a modified starch (A), 2 to 60 parts by mass of a polyvinyl alcohol (B) having a degree of saponification of 75.0 mol% or more, and optionally a clay (C), wherein the total content of the (A), (B) and (C) is 100 parts by mass, and the peak temperature of tan δ in measurement of dynamic viscoelasticity in a range of 20° C. to 150° C. is 128° C. or lower.
Preform coating device
A preform coating device is provided with: a rotational holding part that horizontally holds a preform and rotates the preform about the axis of the preform, and that grasps a spout of the preform; a conveyance part that conveys the preform by moving the rotational holding part; a dispenser that discharges a coating liquid toward the preform; a preform support part that supports the bottom-side end of the cylindrical barrel of the preform while the dispenser is discharging the coating liquid; and a spout support part that supports the outer circumferential surface of the spout of the preform while the dispenser is discharging the coating liquid.
Method of Making a Tube and Tube
A method of making a tube (60) includes forming at least one tube layer (101, 106, 108); and forming at least one film layer (102, 103, 104) on the at least one tube layer, wherein the at least a portion of the at least one film layer does not completely overlap the at least one tube layer.
CO-INJECTION NOZZLE COMPRISING INTEGRATED BACK-FLOW BARRIER
A co-injection nozzle for an injection moulding device for producing multi-layered injection-moulded products. The nozzle includes: a central bore; a valve needle for opening and closing a nozzle opening; an annular inner melt channel for the first melt; an annular central melt channel for a second melt; and an annular outer melt channel for the first melt. The inner, central and outer melt channels are fluidically combined in the region of the nozzle tip to form a concentrically-layered melt stream. The co-injection nozzle has a back-flow barrier, integrated into the central bore, for the second melt, this barrier formed by a cut-out in the valve needle and by a melt channel for the second melt, the channel penetrating the central bore. In the open position of the back-flow barrier, the cut-out is located such that the second melt can flow through the melt channel, whilst flowing in the central bore past the valve needle.
INFLATABLE MEDICAL ARTICLES
An inflatable medical article that includes: a polyester-containing layer including a fabric layer that includes at least one nonwoven web of fibers including an aliphatic polyester, wherein at least a portion of the aliphatic polyester is exposed at the surface of the fibers; a polyolefin-containing layer including a polyolefin film, a nonwoven web including polyolefin fibers, or a combination thereof; a tie layer bonding the polyester-containing layer to the polyolefin-containing layer; an optional sheet; and at least one inflatable chamber formed between the polyolefin-containing layer and the tie layer, or between the polyester-containing layer and the tie layer, or between the polyolefin-containing layer and the optional sheet (when the sheet is present).
FILAMENT WITH EXTERIOR BARRIER AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SAME
A material for an additive manufacturing system having a build environment includes a filament coated with a barrier wherein barrier comprises less than about 1 wt % of the filament wherein the barrier substantially prevents the transmission of moisture or gasses into the filament.
Methods of vacuum forming articles of wear
Described are methods of two-dimensionally and three-dimensionally forming an article of wear using vacuum forming in an automated process. In the two-dimensional method, the article of wear comprises a generally flat shape with three-dimensional features molded into the first material layer.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A CUSHION
Method for producing a cushion with a casing made of an airtight casing material and a flexible, polydirectionally air-permeable filling body which is arranged in the casing and which is materially connected to the casing. The method includes at least the following steps: coating a first mold cavity of a molding tool with a curable, flowable and/or sprayable plastic material to form a first casing shell, coating a second mold cavity of the molding tool with the curable, flowable and/or sprayable plastic material to form a second casing shell, inserting a pre-produced filling body into the first casing shell located in the first mold cavity, and joining together of the first and second casing shells located in the first mold cavity and in the second mold cavity before the plastic material cures or fully reacts.
Method for producing hollow bodies from thermoplastic materials by using an at least three-part blow-molding tool and apparatus for carrying out the method
The invention relates to a method for producing hollow bodies from thermoplastic material by using an at least three-part blow-molding tool with at least two blow-mold halves (1a, 1b), which define a mold impression, have part-cavities (5a, 5b) and can be displaced toward one another and away from one another in the sense of an opening and closing movement, and also with at least one central tool (2), which is displaceable transversely in relation to the opening and closing movement of the blow-mold halves (1a, 1b), the method comprising the extruding or providing and arranging of at least two molten performs (7) of thermoplastic material in web form between the blow-mold halves (1a, 1b) in an opened receiving position, the bringing to bear of the preforms (7) in the part-cavities (5a, 5b) of the blow-mold halves (1a, 1b) and molding of them into shells (10) using sealing elements which are provided on the central tool and are extended from the central tool for the purpose of sealing off the part-cavities before or while the part-cavities are subjected to differential pressure; the joining of at least one insert (9) in at least one shell (10) by using the central tool (2) arranged between the blow-mold halves (1a, 1b) and the joining of the shells (10) to form the closed hollow body by closing the blow-mold halves (1a, 1b) while applying clamping force and, if appropriate, the final blow molding of the hollow body.
