Absorbent article and method for manufacturing same
In order to prevent degradation of appearance, prevent a decrease in flexibility, and improve non-elasticity in a non-stretchable region in an elastic film stretchable structure, the invention is characterized by having an elastic film stretchable structure (20X) formed by stacking an elastic film (30) between a first sheet layer (20A) and a second sheet layer (20B), wherein a region having the elastic film stretchable structure (20X) includes a non-stretchable region (70) and a stretchable region (80) provided at least at one side of the non-stretchable region (70) in a stretching and contracting direction, the stretchable region (80) being stretchable in the stretching and contracting direction, the first sheet layer (20A) and the second sheet layer (20B) are joined via through holes (31) penetrating the elastic film (30) at the large number of sheet bond portions (40) arranged at intervals, and the non-stretchable region (70) does not have a section in which the elastic film (30) linearly continues along the stretching and contracting direction, due to presence of the through holes (31), even though the elastic film (30) continues in the stretching and contracting direction.
Seal for a vacuum material lifter
A seal for a vacuum lifter and method of manufacture wherein the seal has a continuous unbroken outer fluid resistant skin of elastomer which forms a boundary around a homogeneous cellular structure with no interior seams or joints.
CONTAINER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A method for manufacturing a container includes injecting a first material into a first mold to form a top portion of a preform. The first material and a second material are injected into the first mold to form a bottom portion of the preform. The preform is disposed in a second mold. The preform is blow molded into a finished container.
Thermally expandable compositions comprising polysaccharide
The present application relates to a thermally expandable composition containing at least one peroxide cross-linking polymer, at least one peroxide, at least one polysaccharide and at least one endothermic, chemical blowing agent; as well as to shaped bodies containing said composition and to a method for sealing and filling voids in components, for strengthening or reinforcing components, in particular hollow components, and for bonding mobile components using shaped bodies of this type.
HOUSE WRAP & METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A continuous, wavy and intersecting pattern of filaments is deposited on a surface of a house wrap membrane using a plurality of hot melt nozzles and a controller that controls, positionally and temporally, the relative positions and flow of hot melt of the nozzles and the top surface of the membrane. Water drainage channels may be provided by depressions or viaducts.
LOW PERMEATION TYPE C AIR CONDITIONING HOSE
An improved Type C air conditioning hose is provided that meets or exceeds SAE J2064 and J3062 requirements, offers good flexibility and fracture resistance, and exhibits improved permeation ratings for refrigerants including R134a and R1234yf. The multilayer type C barrier air conditioning hose includes a novel inner elastomeric tube layer capable of direct bonding to plastic without an intervening adhesive.
Trim component for vehicle interior
A trim component for vehicle interior is disclosed. A method for forming the trim component is also disclosed. The trim component comprises a cover material, a base layer, a foamed plastic, and a support element. The base layer is intended to prevent foamed plastic from penetrating into the pores of the cover material. Foamed plastic is injected between the base layer and the support element to form the trim component. The method comprises the steps of producing a base layer, applying and fixing at least part of the cover material to the base layer to form a pre-laminate, introducing the pre-laminate into a foaming mold with the base layer between the cover material and a foam chamber (between the pre-laminate and the support element) within a foaming mold and introducing foamed plastic into the foam chamber to form the trim component.
NON-FLAMMABLE THERMAL INSULATING COMPOSITE SUBSTRATE FOR MOTOR VEHICLES AND PRODUCTION METHOD
Disclosed is a non-flammable thermal insulating composite substrate for motor vehicles including: a textile component constituted by a layer of needle-sewn non-woven fabric composed of a percentage of pre-oxidized polyacrylonitrile fiber included between 40% and 70%, preferably 58% and of the remaining percentage of polyethylene glycol-terephthalate fiber, the textile component having weight preferably 400 gr/m.sup.2; and a barrier fixed to the textile component using a spreading process, constituted by a thermoplastic resin based on low density polyethylene added with non-halogen flame retardants, the barrier having weight preferably 100 gr/m.sup.2. The composite substrate has the following features: a thickness included between 2 mm and 5 mm, preferably 3.8 mm; a weight included between 300 gr/m.sup.2 and 700 gr/m.sup.2, preferably 500 gr/m.sup.2; odorless; no emission of fumes; dimensionally stable, even at heatstroke, with a maximum variation of 1%; and non-flammability.
Lightweight polyethylene film for aseptic packaging applications and the product resulting therefrom and the process of making the same
A multilayer foam film comprising high density polyethylene for direct and non-direct food contact and aseptic packaging application is disclosed. In an embodiment, the film has a bulk density of less than 0.962 gr/cm.sup.3 wherein more than 50% of the cells in the foam layer are closed cells. In an embodiment, the foam films are thick (generally more than 8 mils thick) and have a bending stiffness value of more than 18, in Taber stiffness unit configuration according to TAPPI/ANSI T 489 om-15, and the ratio of the mass per unit area (the mass of a unit area of the film in gram per meter-squared (gr/m.sup.2)) over the stiffness value in Taber unit configuration is equal to or less than 13. In an embodiment, the film has a very smooth surface with a smoothness value of less than 25 in Sheffiled smoothness unit configuration according to TAPPI T 538. The described foam film can have a water vapor transmission rate value of less than 1 gr/m.sup.2/24 hr, according to ASTM E398-13.
