METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A HEATING MAT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A method for manufacturing a heating mat for a motor vehicle. The method includes the following steps: providing a heating ply having a deformable structure and two heating elements inserted into the structure, said two heating elements being separated by a deformation area of the structure; stacking the heating ply between an upper layer and a lower layer, wherein at least one of the heating ply and the upper and lower layers includes a thermoformable material; assembling the stack by at least one fastening rod; and thermoforming the stack thus assembled, so as to secure the heating ply and the upper and lower layers into a single piece; and stretching the deformation area in the stacking direction.
APPARATUS FOR RECYCLING WASTE AUTOMOBILE FLOOR MAT
An apparatus for recycling a waste automobile floor mat according to the present invention includes: a plurality of conveyer belts which is sequentially disposed and transfers compressed, cut, crushed scraps; a first cutter which cuts each of the compressed, transferred scraps at predetermined intervals; a crusher which crushes the cut, transferred scraps; a pair of first hoppers into and from which the crushed, transferred scraps and polypropylene are introduced and discharged, respectively; a pair of first screw conveyers which transfer the scraps and the polypropylene; a second hopper into and from which the scraps and the polypropylenes are introduced and discharged; a second screw conveyer which transfers the scraps and the polypropylene; a melter which melts the scraps and the polypropylene; a third screw conveyer which forms an extrudate by extruding the mixed, molten scraps and polypropylene; and a second cutter which cuts the extrudate at predetermined intervals.
LAMINATED PARTS CONTAINING A SLIP RESISTANT AND WATER RESISTANT OUTER LAYER AND METHODS FOR THEIR PRODUCTION
Laminated parts are described that include a core, a fiber layer arranged on each side of the core and impregnated with a polyurethane resin, and an outer layer that at least partially coats at least one of the polyurethane impregnated fiber layers, in which the outer layer is the cured reaction product of a reaction mixture that includes: (1) a polyisocyanate, (2) a polyether polyol having a molecular weight of 800 Da to 25,000 Da and a functionality of 2 to 8, and (3) a fatty acid ester having isocyanate-reactive functionality. Methods of producing such laminated parts are also described.
Pad comprising an extruded mesh and method of making thereof
A structure for use in a compressible resilient pad. The structure contains both axially elastomeric strands and relatively inelastic strands co-extruded in various patterns. The structure has a high degree of both compressibility under an applied normal load and excellent recovery (resiliency or spring back) upon removal of that load.
FILAMENT DEPOSITION HEAD AND METHOD OF DEPOSITING FILAMENT MATERIAL FOR JOINING WORKPIECES
A fused filament deposition head is employed for depositing filament materials on workpieces to join the workpieces together. The workpieces can be of an automotive application, aerospace application, or something else. The fused filament deposition head, in an example, has a feed end, a dispensing end, and a heater. The feed end introduces more than one filament in the fused filament deposition head, as demanded in the larger application. The dispensing end delivers materials of the filaments to the underlying workpieces. The materials are delivered together. The heater serves to heat the filaments as they travel through the fused filament deposition head. The filaments can include a filament having a core portion of liquid-crystal polymer material.
THERMOPLASTIC POLYOLEFIN FOR NON-CARPETED FLOORING
The present invention is directed to an elastomer composition comprising a hydrogenated block copolymer, a propylene polymer, a maleic anhydride grafted polymer, a mineral oil, a filler, and optionally a siloxane polymer and/or a nucleating agent. The inventive compositions are particularly suitable for fabricating injection molded non-carpet vehicle flooring.
Skin-equipped hollow molded article and method of producing the same
An object of the present invention is to produce a double-sided carpet type skin-equipped hollow molded article so as to prevent degradation of aesthetic appearance of the hollow molded article. The double-sided carpet type skin-equipped hollow molded article includes: a hollow molded article main body made of a thermoplastic and having a front surface wall and a back surface wall; and skins integrally bonded to the respective front and back surface walls. A first skin bonded to the front surface wall is a napped-type skin. A second skin bonded to the back surface wall is a skin having a thickness smaller than a thickness of the first skin. A wall surface to which the first skin is bonded protrudes outward more than a wall surface to which the second skin is bonded in a parting line of the hollow molded article main body. The first skin has a large thickness and is a napped-type skin. Therefore, obtained is an effect that a nap raised after deburring and cutting masks a cut portion.
Heteroatom containing modified diene polymers
Modified diene polymers containing heteroatoms are disclosed, as is their production, rubber mixtures comprising these modified diene rubbers, and to their use for the production of rubber vulcanizates, which serve, in particular, for the production of rubber moldings and the production of tires.
Resin panel and forming method
Provided is a resin panel without warpage, in which weight reduction and high rigidity of the resin panel have been promoted. The resin panel according to an aspect of the present invention is a resin panel having a back wall, a front wall facing the back wall with a gap therebetween, and ribs formed by having portions of the back wall depressed toward the front wall and welded to the inner surface of the front wall, characterized in that the back wall, the front wall and the ribs are configured by mold-clamping, in a split mold, a first molten resin in a molten state and incorporating a plate-shaped filler, which constitutes the back wall, and a second molten resin in a molten state and incorporating a plate-shaped filler, which constitutes the front wall, the first molten resin and the second molten resin having been extruded and flowed out from an extrusion apparatus, and the longitudinal direction of the ribs is non-parallel to the direction of flow of the first molten resin and the second molten resin.
Shielding device, passenger compartment, motor vehicle, and shielding method
A shielding device of a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle for shielding an interior of the passenger compartment from a hydrogen tank in the motor vehicle includes a basic body. The basic body has a fiber-reinforced composite material with a hydrogen-permeation-inhibiting coating. The basic body is constructed as a wall or wall segment of the passenger compartment.
