Towed agricultural implement
A towed agricultural implement includes one or more processing units each supported on a chassis, in which each chassis supports at least one processing unit on a central axis, the chassis having a left hand side wheel assembly support and a right hand side wheel assembly support, free ends of the wheel assembly supports having wheel assemblies, each wheel assembly comprising a wheel mounted on a wheel mount, the wheel mount being rotatable about an inclined axis, and the wheel being rotatable about a horizontal axis. The wheel assembly supporting structures and the wheel mounts allow limited relative movement of each wheel mount with respect to the wheel assembly supporting structures which enables greater control when the towed agricultural implement is towed about a corner.
AGRICULTURAL WORKING APPARATUS
The invention relates to an agricultural working apparatus for use in forage harvesting and to a corresponding method with tines rotating about an axis A with corresponding tine ends. A device for changing the distance between the tine ends and the ground is also provided, as well as a sensor device for measuring a stubble height. An evaluation unit, in particular a decision support system, is provided to which the sensor device supplies measurement signals for the stubble height and which can determine a position of the tine ends as a function of the measured stubble height. A control device controls the device for changing the distance of the tine ends in order to set the determined position of the tine ends.
Agricultural Implement
An agricultural implement includes a first frame member and a second frame member pivotally connected to each other and an actuating assembly configured to rotate the second frame member. The actuating assembly includes a first link pivotally connected to the first frame member, a second link pivotally connected to the second frame member, and a third link attached to an actuator. Two of the first, second, and third links are pivotally connected by a connecting pin, which is received in a slot formed in the third one of the links. The actuating assembly is configured to prevent the pin from moving along the slot and to allow rotation of the second link relative to the third link, when the second frame member is arranged between a retracted position and an expanded position, and to allow the pin to move along the slot, when the second frame member is arranged in the expanded position.
AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT
An agricultural implement having a main chassis member having a support structure with support arms connected to the support structure for movement between a working position and a transport position, the support arms being provided with operating elements remote from the support structure, the support structure defining a working width between the operating elements and the main chassis member, and the support arms being adjustable in the working position between a length corresponding to minimum working width and a length greater than the minimum working width. In the transport position a distance between the operating elements and the main chassis member is less than the minimum working width. In a headland position the support arms are adjustable such that a distance between the operating elements and the main chassis member is less than the minimum working width.
Agricultural machine lifting unit
An agricultural machine includes a frame, and a lifting unit configured to vary a height of an operating unit with respect to a supporting surface for the machine. The lifting unit includes hydraulic cylinder with a liner and first and second pistons both slidingly housed inside the liner and arranged in series to define first and second chambers inside the liner, wherein the first and second pistons are controllable independently. The lifting unit includes a pressure stabilizer in fluid connection with the first chamber and that controls a pressure in the first chamber so that the first piston moves therein as a force generated on the first piston varies. A second control element for the second chamber carries out a volumetric control of the second chamber to control a position of the second piston regardless of a pressure inside the second chamber.
SUPPORT ASSEMBLY FOR DUAL ROTARY RAKING MACHINE
The present invention provides provide adjustable dual rotary raking machines in which the lateral positions of the rotors and rakes may be moved while in use without stopping operation. The present invention also provides adjustable dual rotary raking machines which are suitable for collecting prunings from agricultural orchards or vineyards having low hanging branches. The present invention further provides adjustable dual rotary raking machines which may be easily collapsed for storage and transport into a small profile that allows multiple options for storing the machines, and does not require special permits to transport the collapsed machines on public roads.
Agricultural apparatus for forming from a previously-cut agricultural crop a windrow on a field and method thereof
An agricultural apparatus for forming from previously-cut agricultural crop, such as grass or the like, a windrow on a field, which may comprise: a frame, crop engaging elements supported on the frame and configured to form from previously-cut agricultural crop a windrow on a field, and a control unit configured to control operation of the crop engaging elements. The control unit is further configured to provide control signals to the crop engaging elements in such a way that, in a windrow forming mode of operation, the crop engaging elements are driven to engage with the previously-cut agricultural crop, and form from the previously-cut agricultural crop the windrow which may have a snake line form on the field. Further detailed is a method for forming from previously-cut agricultural crop, such as grass or the like, a windrow on a field.
Stall plow
A stall plow removably attaches to a prior art skid steer using available quick connect couplers. The stall plow has a moldboard that is configured to completely remove waste bedding from a livestock free stall from the area adjacent to the curb and deliver it to the alley, where a prior art machine can then complete removal of the waste bedding from the alley. The moldboard includes a primary scraper section and side cutter that scrapes and lifts waste bedding up and over the curb. A curb section and curb flange then shift the bedding over to the alley and drop waste bedding into the alley, where a discharge spreader levels and distributes the waste. An extensible arm and hydraulic extension cylinder adjusts the moldboard transversely relative to direction of travel. An angle and pitch adjuster sets the moldboard for a particular free stall geometry and bedding material composition.
Agricultural Implement
An agricultural implement including a central chassis member having a support structure with support arms connected to the support structure for movement between a working position and a transport position, the support arms having operating elements defining a working width between the operating elements and the main chassis member. The support arms are adjustable in the working position between a length corresponding to minimum working width and a length greater than the minimum working width. In the transport position a distance between the operating elements and the main chassis member is less than the minimum working width. A first stop defines the position of the minimum working width and a second stop arranged vertically with respect to the first stop retains the support arm in the transport position when the distance between the operating elements and the main chassis member is less than the minimum working width.
