Disclosed herein is a screen protector assembly and a screen protector applicator comprising a screen protector assembly and an applicator tray, the screen protector assembly comprising a cover layer, a screen protector layer and a retention layer, wherein: the cover layer is bonded on a first side of the screen protector layer by a first glue layer provided on the screen protector layer; the retention layer is bonded on a second side of the screen protector by a second glue layer provided on the retention layer; and an interlayer is provided between the retention layer and the screen protector layer. The screen protector applicator has a simple structure, and can store and protect the screen protector assembly before application of the screen protector layer to the screen. In the process of screen protector application, the operation method is simple and convenient.
Systems for securing protective films to surfaces of substrates
Systems and films for protecting surfaces of various substrates, including electronic devices, such as portable electronic devices, include a liner with a strip liner and a main liner. The strip liner, which covers a small strip of adhesive on the back side of a protective film, is configured to be removed before the main liner. With the small strip of adhesive exposed, the protective film may be aligned with a substrate and, if necessary, removed from the substrates and repositioned thereon. Thereafter, the main liner may be removed to enable complete application of the protective film to the substrate. Methods for securing protective films to substrates are also disclosed.

Disclosed are a film pasting method and apparatus. The method includes: providing a protective film sheet, an electronic device and a push mechanism; aligning the protective film sheet with a screen; moving the push mechanism from a first side to a second side so as to sequentially paste the protective film sheet on the screen correspondingly. During a process of film pasting, an area where the protective film sheet is pasted with the screen defines a contact boundary proximate to the second side, the protective film sheet enters an exhaust state when the contact boundary moves, a contact angle is formed between a connection face which is formed by the contact boundary and the second side, and the screen, the contact angle gradually decreases along a moving direction of the contact boundary.

According to the utility model, there is provided a film laminator for cell phones, useful for film lamination on a surface of a cell phone, including: a cell phone fixing plate, on which a through hole for receiving the cell phone is established, and a top surface of which is a horizontal face; with at least one position limiting plate for abutting the cell phone within the through hole being also fixed on the top surface. Screen protector laminate applicator
A screen protector laminate applicator is used with an installation machine to install a screen protector on a mobile device. The laminate applicator comprises a web secured to the installation machine; the screen protector carried by the web, and a backing layer covering the screen protector opposite the web. The web, the screen protector and the backing layer are removably coupled together as a laminate. A tab of the backing layer extends beyond the perimeter of the screen protector and comprises an enlarged head connected to the backing layer by a narrower neck.
