SPEECH DIAPHRAGM MODULE FOR A RESPIRATOR MASK
Various embodiments provide a speech diaphragm module comprising: a body; a lid secured to the body to form an enclosed volume therein; a resilient film secured within the enclosed volume along an attachment join formed around a periphery of the resilient film; and a tensioning feature arranged to displace an operative portion of the resilient film relative to the attachment join to apply a tension across the resilient film. Some other embodiments provide a method of manufacturing a speech diaphragm module, a respirator, and a kit of parts for forming a speech diaphragm module.
Facial mask and method of making
Masks for various uses and methods for manufacture thereof, including masks for use in continuous positive air pressure (CPAP) therapies. An example includes a mask having a first, relatively softer material for contact with the face of the user, and a second, relatively harder or more structural material used away from the face of the user, with a gradient therebetween. The mask can be produced by additive manufacturing to avoid a discernible boundary between the first and second materials.

The mask may include a foam element, which can be removable for replacement in some examples, for contacting the patient's skin.
PEDIATRIC CPAP MASK
A mask configured to deliver pressurized airflow according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a central portion configured to surround a nose of a patient, a first pair of wings projecting from opposite sides of the central portion, and a second pair of wings projecting from opposite sides of the central portion. The disclosed mask has particular benefits to pre-term infants. A system and method are also disclosed.
ULTRASONIC WELDING OF FABRICS FOR SLEEP APNEA TREATMENT
A respiratory apparatus may employ ultrasonic welds. The ultrasonic welding may be used to join a variety of headgear, mask and accessory components. This process may enhance comfort, fit and/or performance of the joined components and/or overall mask assembly. A component may be a single layer component such as a textile or fabric, or a composite or multiple layer component such as fabric and foam composites, or outer fabric layers and inner spacer fabrics. Further, a component may be a strap, some other headgear component, a mask component, an accessory component or the like.
Molded Cooling and Heating Face Mask
A molded face mask for treating a user's face, the molded face mask comprising a rigid, inflexible polycaprolactone body molded to the user's face, the body comprising: i) two opposed, slightly tapered end portions; ii) a generally straight lower edge; and iii) an upper edge having a concave portion disposed approximately half-way along a length of the upper edge. A kit for providing therapeutic relief and reducing redness and bumps associated with facial shaving.
METHOD FOR OBTAINING FACIAL METRICS OF A PERSON AND INDENTIFYING A MASK FOR THE PERSON FROM SUCH METRICS
A method of determining facial metrics of a person includes: receiving a request that the person requires a mask; navigating an autonomously operable vehicle to the person using at least one imaging device; capturing a number of images of the person using the at least one imaging device; and determining facial metrics of the person from the number of images. The method may be further employed in a method for identifying a mask for the person which further includes determining a mask for the user from the facial metrics; and identifying the mask to the person.
Molded cooling and heating face mask
A molded face mask for treating a user's face, the molded face mask having a rigid, inflexible body molded to the user's face, and a way to couple the molded face mask to the user's face. The body has a top edge, a bottom edge, a left side edge and a right side edge and at least one nostril opening disposed proximate the user's nostrils.
BREATHING MASK WITH A SEALING LIP DEVICE
A breathing mask device, a sealing lip device for a breathing mask device, a molding tool and a method for producing a corresponding breathing mask device and sealing lip device are described. Also disclosed are ways that make it possible to create a breathing mask device that, with sufficiently strong tightness is distinguished by particular wearing comfort and which moreover can be produced advantageously in times of industrial production standpoints. A breathing mask device for administering a breathable gas is provided and includes a body structure that is sealed against a contact surface of a user's face, a sealing lip device that in combination with the body structure in part defines a breathing mask interior, a gel structure for at least intermittent and partial transmission of the retention forces, acting on the body structure, to the user's face area, and a gel material defining the gel structure is received in a gel receiving chamber defined at least in part by an elastically deformable receiving wall.
Breathing mask and a sealing lip device for a breathing mask
A breathing mask includes a relatively rigid shell and an elastomeric sealing lip mounted to the relatively rigid shell. The elastomeric sealing lip has a contact zone configured to bear against the face of the person. The elastomeric sealing lip further includes a nose bridge region, a first nostril region and a second nostril region. The nose bridge region has a first zone of lower load-bearing capability. The first nostril region has a first zone of higher load-bearing capability. The second nostril region has a second zone of higher load-bearing capability. The first zone of lower load-bearing capability has a lower load-bearing capability than the first and second zones of higher load-bearing capability. In addition, the contact zone is configured to pivot about an articulation axis that extends through the first and second nostril regions.
