Breast cup for underwear and method for manufacturing the same
A breast cup for an undergarment, such as a brassiere, includes a cup core that has a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. Each of the first and second surfaces is formed with a plurality of grooves. Each groove has an elongated opening, an elongated bottom, and a sidewall on each of two longitudinal sides of the groove. The breast cup also includes a first fabric layer overlying the first surface of the cup core, and a second fabric layer overlying the second surface of the cup core. A top part of the sidewalls of one or more of the plurality of the first grooves is attached to the first fabric layer while at least a portion of the bottom of the one or more of the plurality of the first grooves is not attached to the first fabric layer.
BRA CUP FOR A BRASSIERE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A bra cup for a brassiere to be worn by a wearer is disclosed. The bra cup comprises a core layer. The core layer has an inner side and an outer side. A plurality of apertures are formed in the core layer. In one example, one or more of the plurality of apertures have a truncated conical cross-section with a relatively larger diameter towards the inner side and a relatively smaller diameter towards the outer side. In another example, the plurality of apertures comprises a plurality of elongated apertures formed in a frontal area of the bra cup and a plurality of circular apertures formed in a lateral area of the bra cup. The plurality of elongated apertures have a dumbbell shape. In yet another example, the bra cup comprises a plurality of protrusions defined in the core layer towards the inner side thereof.
Undergarment Receiving a Thin Intermediate Bonding Layer Between Two Textiles Prior To Thermoforming
A process for manufacturing an undergarment having two superimposed textiles, comprising depositing on certain parts of reinforcements (8) comprising a thick layer of a shaped memory foam elastic material, the polymerization of this material and also the shaping of the textiles of the undergarment by thermoforming, characterized in that it comprises a step of depositing, on the entire surface of at least the textiles, a thin layer of an elastic adhesive-bonding material, and then a step of polymerizing this thin layer of adhesive bonding during the thermoforming for shaping, and in that it comprises a step of prior depositing, on the textile receiving the layer of reinforcement (8), of a barrier layer of an elastic material, which is polymerized before the depositing of this reinforcement.
ARTICLES OF CLOTHING AND BRASSIERES
The present invention provides a brassiere having excellent fitting properties, allowing a greater number of wearers to obtain a sufficient fit for their breasts. The brassiere has a cup part for covering the wearer's breasts. The cup part includes an inner cup provided inside the cup part. The inner cup has an upper side portion. The upper side portion has a wave-shaped structure.

Bonding of heat-activated films including a plasticizer
Articles including a polymer film, a plasticizer and a substrate are included. A method of bonding the film to the substrate includes the use of the plasticizer which provides a durable bond by using a lower temperatures and shorter bonding times than would be required in the absence of the plasticizer.
3D PRINTED CAGE STRUCTURES FOR APPAREL
This application is generally directed to articles including cage structures and related systems and methods. The cage structures have utility in footwear and apparel (e.g., articles of clothing, braces, accessories). In some cases, the article is a footwear article. In some cases, the article is an article of apparel. In some embodiments, the article includes a textile. In some embodiments, the article includes a cage structure (e.g., comprising a polymer) attached to a substrate (e.g., a textile). In some embodiments, the interface of attachment between the substrate and the cage structure is substantially free of an adhesive.
THERMOFORMING PROCESS FOR PATTERNED FABRIC SUBSTRATE
Disclosed herein is a composite of a thermoformable fabric and an elastomer which together have been subjected to thermoformable moulding to provide a 3-dimensionally thermoformed fabric article in the form of a textile or in the form of the whole or part of a garment. The article presents an appearance that is substantially free of permanent wrinkles. Also disclosed herein is a process to make said article.
Breast Cup for Underwear and Method for Manufacturing the Same
There is provided a breast cup for an undergarment such as a brassiere. The breast cup comprises a cup core that has a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. Each of the first and second surfaces is formed with a plurality of grooves. Each groove has an elongated opening, an elongated bottom, and a sidewall on each of two longitudinal sides of the groove. The breast cup also comprises a first fabric layer overlying the first surface of the cup core, and a second fabric layer overlying the second surface of the cup core. A top part of the sidewalls of one or more of the plurality of the first grooves is attached to the first fabric layer while at least a portion of the bottom of the one or more of the plurality of the first grooves is not attached to the first fabric layer.
Under-support and molded bra cup
The present disclosure provides for an under-support, which includes curved end portions and a support portion extending between the curved end portion. The support portion includes a plurality of openings. The present disclosure further provides for the under-support embedded in a foam cup. When the disclosed under-support is embedded in a foam cup, the foam extends through the openings in the support portion.
