LARIAT DEVICE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
Methods and systems for ropes used to catch livestock such as a cattle roping lariat. In one embodiment, the lariat includes a set of strands, each strand including a set of yarns surrounding a central core. The set of strands are twisted to form a twisted rope. The lariat is manufactured using a set of components including a head box, a tree-cross box with a branched strand tree device and a cross device, and a tail box.
Gas processing device and method
A methane conversion device is provided that includes a reaction chamber comprising a converter that is configured to oxidize methane. A sensor is provided that is adapted to detect the presence of methane within gas exterior to the methane conversion device. A positioner is provided for positioning the device on an animal.
LIVESTOCK MOTIVATION DEVICE
A livestock motivation device comprising a compressed gas module, elongate tube, and plurality of noise-making tips is disclosed. The user points the elongate tube with noise-making tip, through which compressed gas is passaged, at the livestock. Passage of compressed gas through the noise-making tip generates a motivating sound, and impingement of flowing gas against the livestock's body provides gentle motivation.

Towed roping dummy shock absorption apparatus
The towed roping dummy shock absorption apparatus provides for an apparatus designed to be inserted between a pulling vehicle and a towed roping dummy when practicing team roping from horseback. The apparatus provides for modulation of jerks and forces on the dummy that cause strain on the vehicle, dummy and horse, as well as providing for more consistent speed when being towed.
ROPING PRACTICE APPARATUS
The present invention includes a mechanical roping apparatus and method for practicing animal roping, the apparatus comprising: a animal assembly that provides an up and down motion and simulates a hopping motion by the animal; a leg assembly mounted at the rear of the frame wherein the leg members are movable with respect to the frame and stimulate a running motion; an actuation assembly to move the leg members from a forward position to a rear position; and one or more indicia that indicates to the user when the leg members are in an optimal position for roping, and then they are not accessible for roping and then the legs are accessible for roping.
Roping dummy apparatus
A team roping dummy that encourages more correct roping. The dummy head can be rotated to different angles to match that of a typical running steer. A blocker post extends vertically out of the neck, which makes the roper deliver the loop at the proper plane. The blocker post further causes the roper to rope the horns in the center of the loop versus roping with the front or back edge of loop. The back legs extend at proper angle of heel loop swing, causing the roper to match the angle of the loop during its swing to the angle of the legs and provides a visual line to match the plane of the loop.
Equine Twitch
A clip-style equine twitch device comprising a clip head and in-line tether holes, each threaded with a section of rope or cord to form an adjustable loop that can be applied to the horse and then securely clipped to an anchor point, and a method of use thereof.

Animal snare
An animal snare includes an elongated barrel and first and second carriages slidably supported on the barrel. The first and second carriages are interconnected by a cord. A snare extends out the first end of the barrel and has at least one end affixed to the second carriage. An elastic member is releasably connected to the first carriage and is configured to bias the first carriage toward a fired position. The elastic member is in tension when the first carriage is in a cocked position. A trigger assembly is configured to retain the first carriage in the cocked position against the tension of the elastic member. Actuation of the trigger assembly causes release of the first carriage and permits the first carriage to travel along the barrel toward the first end to the fired position as the tension in the elastic member is released to draw the snare.
