Press ram fastening system
A press for waste has an actuator (42) that moves a ram (40) in a chamber (30). The actuator and the ram are connected by a fastening system (100). The fastening system allows the ram to be displaced in a direction perpendicular to the length and direction of travel of the actuator. In this way, as inner surfaces of the chamber wear the ram may adjust to the worn surfaces without applying large forces perpendicular to the length of the actuator. When the actuator moves forward, it pushes directly against the back of the ram. When the actuator moves backwards, it pulls a pin (102) that pushes on an inner surface (108) of the ram.

The filter has a filter wall and floor that together define a chamber. The plunger mechanism (which has a plunger shaft with an actuator end and a plunger head end) is insertable into the chamber. A preferred plunger head at the plunger head end may have at least one clearing blade and/or a first part of a connector. The pulp catcher has a second part of a connector that may connect to the first part of the connector. The processing system may also include a filter lid and/or a ring funnel.

DOUBLE-HINGED FOOD PRESS DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD
A double-hinged food press for extruding foodstuff through a grate and operational by hand while held aloft or placed on a work surface. An upward-curved plunger handle, combined with a receiver handle designed to rest on the surface, positions the press for the operation. Rollers enable the grate to be snapped smoothly over risers into and out of recesses in the receiver without undue wear and resulting loss of integrity. A raised lip of resilient material surrounding a plunger face further ensures a tight fit between the plunger and receiver cup. Resilient material between the plunger face and the hinge barrel of the grate ensures a tight fit between the two. Hinge pins may be removed by the user for replacement of the grate. Bosses can extend from the receiver unit for support on the surface to assist in operation of the press. An attachable paddle can be used to collect extruded material and to scrape it from the grate.
Reusable Produce Pack For A Juice Press
A press includes a movable platen and a non-moving platen within a housing defining a pressing chamber including an outlet defined in a front wall of the chamber vertically between the top and bottom of the movable platen. A hanger is mounted to the press and includes magnets. A produce pack includes a buckle that engages the magnets. The produce pack includes a compartment with a foldable tube extending from an opening to the compartment, the foldable tube being folded over the compartment during pressing to seal the compartment. The produce pack may have edges defining a rectangle with a spout and the buckle one either side of an edge defining the opening to the compartment. A filter pouch may be positioned in the produce pack and include a central portion with lobes that are folded over the central portion to form the filter pouch.
Reusable Produce Pack For A Juice Press
A press includes a movable platen and a non-moving platen within a housing defining a pressing chamber including an outlet defined in a front wall of the chamber vertically between the top and bottom of the movable platen. A hanger is mounted to the press and includes magnets. A produce pack includes a buckle that engages the magnets. The produce pack includes a compartment with a foldable tube extending from an opening to the compartment, the foldable tube being folded over the compartment during pressing to seal the compartment.
