Baling Vehicle With Automated Round Bale Ejection
A self-propelled baling vehicle for forming a bale of material includes a drive system for propelling the baling vehicle, a baling system for forming the bale, and a control system coupled to the drive system and the baling system. The control system includes a controller configured to determine a proposed location for ejection of the bale, operate the drive system to maneuver the baling vehicle from a first position to a second position for ejection of the bale at the proposed location, operate the baling system to eject the bale at the proposed location, and operate the drive system to maneuver the baling vehicle back to the first position.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECOMPRESSING ROUND BALES INTO SQUARE BALES
Systems and methods for recompressing a round bale into a square bale. The system includes a bottom platen to receive the round bale and an upper platen rotatably coupled to the bottom platen. The upper platen is rotatable between a first position to receive the round bale between the bottom platen and the upper platen, and a second position in which the upper platen cooperates with the bottom platen to recompress the round bale into the square bale.
Waste paper rebaler
A method of forming a higher density bale of waste paper from two or more lower density bales of waste paper includes positioning the lower density bales intact and in side-by-side relationship with respect to each other, moving them to a compression zone, and compressing the bales together in the compression zone to form a higher density bale. The higher density bale can then be strapped to maintain its higher density configuration and shape. Thus, a larger tonnage of waste paper in bales can be loaded into a shipping container for transport. A rebaler for carrying out the method includes side feed and side retrieval of bales, significantly improving over traditional top feed machines.
Baler for recycled materials
Baler devices, systems, and methods are shown and described. In one embodiment, the device includes an access door that is generally repositionable about a maintenance opening in a compression chamber. A chamber maintenance assembly may include a repositionable chamber access door, a pair of opposing hydraulic actuators, and a pair of extension arms connecting the access door and the hydraulic actuators. The result is devices, systems, and methods to provide improved access to the compression chamber to attend to jamming maintenance.
Waste material rebaler with side loading and retrieval
A method of forming a higher density bale of waste paper from two or more lower density bales of waste paper includes positioning the lower density bales intact and in side-by-side relationship with respect to each other, moving them to a compression zone, and compressing the bales together in the compression zone to form a higher density bale. The higher density bale can then be strapped to maintain its higher density configuration and shape. Thus, a larger tonnage of waste paper in bales can be loaded into a shipping container for transport. A rebaler for carrying out the method includes side feed and side retrieval of bales, significantly improving over traditional top feed machines.
Baler with automated selection of ejector teeth
A system for ejecting a bale from a baler, wherein the ejection process is controlled by a control unit with input from various sensors and from a remote operator located on a tractor. The control unit automatically positions a chute, controls a power take-off from the tractor, depressurizes and opens a chamber door, ties the bale, selects and causes ejector teeth to project into a forming chamber to engage the bale, causes the ejector teeth to move toward a discharge outlet such that the engaged bale moves with them toward and through the discharge outlet, and determines when the bale has fully ejected from the baler. The remote operator may choose to eject only the bale or to eject the entire contents of the forming chamber, and if the former, the control unit determines the bale's length and selects a subset of the ejector teeth that corresponds to that length.
Methods for making rubber bales
Methods for forming improved bales may include using baling equipment with multi-component bolster assemblies that may ease installation and removal, reduce wear and tear and maintenance, and/or improve efficiency by reducing material waste, imperfections, and/or contamination. The bolster assemblies may include a plurality of coupling portions that engage a hydraulic rod and may enable the bolster assembly to self-center within a press chamber during normal baling operations. The bolster assemblies also may include an island portion that may be attached to the coupling portions and to a bolster cap, and the latter may be attached using retainer bolts having substantially planar heads that may define lips that run about frustums. The bolts may substantially planar head may reduce irregularities in the bale and the lips may prevent material seepage into the bolster assemblies.
Bale Press
A bale binder including a first row of binding applicators configured to apply a first plurality of spaced apart bindings around the bale of material, and a second row of binding applicators configured to apply a second plurality of spaced apart bindings around the bale of material, wherein the first and second row of binding applicators are configured such that the plurality of bindings from the respective applicators are applied around the bale of material without crossing over or tangling.
Baler with automated ejection of bales
Security apparatus for a vertical baler
A security apparatus and gate for a vertical baler has a perimeter security barrier formed as a pivotable U-shaped bar adapted to be connected to opposite side walls of the baler and used to block a user from moving too close to the baler when ejecting a bale therefrom, and an operator safety gate adapted to be pivotally connected to one side wall of the vertical baler and overlaping an ejection gate of the vertical baler and used to prevent the ejection gate from pivoting to an open position, such that the baler cannot eject a bale therefrom until the operator safety gate is pivoted into an open position allowing the ejection gate to be pivoted to an open position and the perimeter security barrier is pivoted into a blocking position.
