Dynamically adjustable sensors for trash compactors and receptacles
Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for dynamically adjusting sensors for use in compactors and receptacles. A receptacle first sends a signal from a transmitter on a first module in a receptacle to a receiver on a second module in the receptacle, wherein the first module is located on a first inner wall of the receptacle and the second module is located on a second inner wall of the receptacle, and wherein at least part of the first module and the second module is located a distance above a bin inside the receptacle. Next, the receptacle determines a signal-detection characteristic including a signal detection status or a number of signal pulses associated with a signal detection. Based on the signal-detection characteristic, the receptacle determines an operating condition of the receptacle, the operating condition including a fullness level or an obstruction level associated with the first or second sensors.
Trash compactor
A trash compactor includes an enclosure assembly, a press assembly, and a lever assembly. The enclosure assembly includes a tray and an enclosure extending from the bottom end of the tray. Furthermore, the press assembly includes a press member disposed within the enclosure. The press member includes openings that receive rods therethrough. The rods being secured to opposing interior walls of the enclosure allowing the press member to slidably traverse an interior portion of the enclosure. A lever is then engaged with the actuating rod that is configured to be actuated by a user to compact trash placed within the enclosure.
Compactor
A compactor has a plunger housing with a door for insertion of waste. The plunger presses waste into a bag on a pallet within an enclosure with panels and a pair of panels in the form of doors at the rear. Side panels, are joined along their lower edges to a floor panel, the side panels supporting the end panels at vertical hinges. There is resilience due to the ability of the various panels to move, in which each side panel is cantilevered about the corner at which it is joined to the floor panel, and the end panels can rotate about the relevant vertical axis of the hinges. As the plunger presses axially to compact waste within a bag when the bag approaches being full.
Baling assembly with a support structure
A baling assembly includes a housing defining an interior and having an access opening selectively covered by a closure, a baling chamber within the housing and having a first wall movable along a first axis for compression of material within the baling chamber, and a ram adjacent the baling chamber. The ram includes a driving mechanism operably coupled to a support structure.
TRASH COMPACTOR
A trash compactor may include a frame, a cavity, a trash receptacle, a platen movable to compress trash collected in the trash receptacle, a set of linkages and a drive mechanism configured to drive said platen up and down, the drive mechanism further configured as one of the link elements, and a platen guide mechanism configured to restrict the motion of the platen in an up and down manner.
BALING ASSEMBLY WITH A SUPPORT STRUCTURE
The disclosure generally relates to a baling assembly with a housing defining an interior and having an access opening selectively covered by a closure, a baling chamber within the housing and having a first wall movable along a first axis for compression of material within the baling chamber, and a ram adjacent the baling chamber.
Trash compactor assembly
A trash compactor assembly includes a receptacle including a base connected to at least one wall having an upper edge. A retaining chamber is defined between the wall(s) and the upper edge. A compaction plate is disposed within the retaining chamber. The compaction plate is configured to be manually moved in an upward direction from the base towards the upper edge to compact trash within the retaining chamber.
VERTICAL BOX BALER AND METHOD OF OPERATING IT
In order to be able to attach an automatic rear-end filling device (20) to a vertically operating box baler (1), which does not increase the height requirement for such an automated vertical box baler (1) too much and at the same time permits batchwise operation, a collecting trolley (SW) filled with loose material (P) is automatically lifted by means of a corresponding lifting/pivoting device (20) and dumped in a storage container (21) at the e.g. rear wall and from there it is pushed diagonally upwards in the direction of movement (24′) through a filling opening (2.2a) into the interior of the press box (2) by means of a storage pusher (24).
