UNDERGROUND COLLECTION CONTAINER
A hydraulic compactor configured to be fastened to the cover structure of an underground collection container, for compacting waste materials. The hydraulic compactor includes a filling opening equipped with a hatch, via which the waste material may be entered into a compressing space inside the compactor, a press member being provided above the compressing space and being movable in the vertical direction inside the compactor. The press member presses the waste material fed into the compressing space against the bottom plate of the compactor. The bottom plate of the compactor is a hydraulic bottom plate opening in the horizontal direction, via which the waste material compressed in the compressing space is dropped into the underground collection container. The present disclosure also relates to an underground collection container comprising a compactor.
TRASH COMPACTOR
A trash compactor may include a frame, a cavity, a trash receptacle, a platen movable to compress trash collected in the trash receptacle, a set of linkages and a drive mechanism configured to drive said platen up and down, the drive mechanism further configured as one of the link elements, and a platen guide mechanism configured to restrict the motion of the platen in an up and down manner.
Removing waste from an oilfield rig
A waste disposal system for an oilfield rig includes a container that defines a volume sized to receive and store waste from an oilfield rig; a compression plate positioned in the volume, the compression plate sized to extend between and orthogonal to two sides of the container and in planar parallel with a back wall of the container; at least one powered arm connected to the compression plate and configured to adjust the compression plate between a retracted position in the volume adjacent the back wall and an extended position to compress the waste into at least one portion of compressed waste; and an adjustable door connected to the container opposite the back wall and configured to swing away from the container to release the at least one portion of compressed waste from the volume.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTAINING A BALE OF COMPRESSIBLE MATERIAL WITHOUT STRAPS
A system for compressing and containing a bale of compressible material includes a bale box and opposing compression plates, one or both of the compression plates moving toward the other of the compression plates in a compression direction. The bale box includes stationary side walls that define a bale box perimeter around the compression plates. At least two of the stationary side walls have ribs formed therein extending inwardly of the bale box. The ribs extend along the at least two side walls in a direction parallel to the compression direction. The ribs form grooves in a compressed bale in about 50 percent to 70 percent of a surface of the compressed bale in which he grooves are formed.
WELD-LESS COMPACTOR
A weld-less compactor includes a side wall formed by a first panel and a second panel. Each of the first and second panels includes an L-shaped extension having an opening therethrough. The weld-less compactor also includes a fastener assembly for securing the first panel to the second panel. The fastener assembly includes a bolt and a collar. The bolt has a head and a pintail. The collar is configured to fit around the pintail of the bolt. The first panel and the second panel are secured together by engaging the openings of the first panel and the second panel with the fastener assembly.
Method for packaging fiber material
The present invention relates to the use of vacuum packaging and vacuum packaging techniques. Embodiments of the present invention include bales and packages comprising a sealed chamber having an internal volume at a pressure less than ambient atmospheric pressure. In alternate embodiments of the present invention, the internal volume of the package comprises a bulk material, a bulk fiber material, fibers or fibrous materials. Also disclosed are methods for packaging, packaging systems and apparatus for packaging.
Double-acting apparatus and method for manufacturing metal scrap compression materials
A double-acting apparatus and method for manufacturing metal scrap compression materials, in which a variety of shapes of collected metal scrap are compressed into pieces having a standardized shape such that they can be directly loaded into a blast furnace, thereby enhancing productivity. Two compression chambers are disposed at both sides of a first compression cylinder such that metal scrap is loaded into the compression chambers. In particular, when one of first press plates moves forward inside a first compression space of one of the compression chambers, the other one of the first press plates moves backward and returns to an idle position.
BALER COMPRISING A SAFETY SYSTEM
Disclosed is a baler for making bales of a waste material. The baler comprises a compaction compartment, a door, door movement means, and a frame part. The frame part comprises at least one receiving means. The baler comprises a safety system. The safety system comprises a safety arm configured to be connected to the door movement means, latching means connected to the safety arm and configured for moving between a first position allowing the door to move and a second position preventing the door from moving by engaging into the at least one receiving means, and equilibrium means connected to the safety arm and configured for moving the latching means from the first position to the second position when the door movement means is interrupted.
Vertical refuse baler
A vertical baler includes a frame defining a compaction chamber, a platen configured for vertical travel within the compaction chamber to compact refuse contained within the compaction chamber, a linear actuator coupled to the platen and configured to raise and lower the platen within the compaction chamber, an electric motor coupled to the linear actuator and configured to control extension and retraction of the linear actuator, an encoder coupled to the electric motor and configured to measure rotation of the motor, and one or more processors.
