Provided is a method and device for batched compression molding of rubber and plastic products by means of multiple mold cavities, including alternate operation of a blank shuttle and a male mold that is in a bottle cap mold, being controlled by means of engagement of two incomplete gear sets. Mold opening motion, isostatic pressing energy storage, and spring energy storage are implemented by means of the engagement characteristic of the incomplete gear sets, and mold closing and compression molding are implemented by means of the non-engagement characteristic, isostatic pressing energy storage, and pressurization of the incomplete gear sets. The method and device effectively resolve the general problem of low production efficiency and poor precision and stability of existing compression molding cap manufacturing equipment.

A tablet press comprises a gate and a control apparatus configured to generate a switching signal. A drive apparatus is configured to move the gate in response to the switching signal received from the control apparatus between a first switching position and at least a second switching position. At least one sensor is configured to generate a detection signal when the gate reaches one of the switching positions. The control apparatus receives the detection signal and is configured to output a switching signal to the drive apparatus to at least partially move the gate back into a home position when there is a switching signal to move the gate out of the home position and there is no detection signal received from the at least one sensor. The control apparatus subsequently outputs a switching signal to again move the gate out of the home position to a target position.

The table press further comprises a control apparatus and a drive apparatus. The drive apparatus is configured to be actuated by the control apparatus to move the gate from a home position defined as one of the first switching position and the at least a second switching position into a target position defined as a switching position that is not the home position. The gate is moved from the home switching position at a speed of movement toward the target position such that the speed of movement of the gate is reduced before the target position is reached.

A casted block molding apparatus, including a mold, first and second filler boxes, and a pressing mechanism. The first filler box is displaceable along opposed directions between an overlapping position where a first bottom opening is located over the mold cavities and a retracted position away from the mold cavities. The first bottom opening is closed by a first cover in the retracted position and is open over the mold cavities. The second filler box is mounted to the first filler box and displaceable therewith along the opposed directions. The bottom opening of the second filler box is closed by a second cover when the filler boxes are displaced from the retracted position to the overlapping position. The second bottom opening is open after the first filler box reaches the overlapping position. A method for molding casted blocks is also discussed.

A punch unit is used in a powder press molding device that includes a die plate including a cavity in which a compacted powder pellet can be formed, the powder press molding device including a ram moving in a direction approaching the die plate and in a direction away from the die plate. The punch unit includes a punch inserted into the cavity of the die plate when the ram approaches the die plate, and a supporting portion supporting the punch reciprocatably, the punch unit being movable along a plane intersecting with the moving direction of the ram in a state where the punch is removed from the cavity. The punch unit is capable of shortening a distance in which the ram moves, and a cycle time can be shortened.

Improved bales may be formed using methods that include using baling equipment with an air blasting crumb chute that may reduce wear and tear and maintenance, and/or improve efficiency by reducing material waste, imperfections, and/or contamination. The crumb chute may include an air inlet and a plurality of apertures in fluid communication with the air inlet. Air may be provided through the apertures to prevent crumbles from accumulating on the baling assembly as they fall through the chute to the press chamber and/or to blast already accumulated residual crumbles from components of the baling assembly, such as a traveling chute, and into the press chamber. The crumb chute may include a polyoxymethylene insert in which the air inlet and apertures are provided. The crumb chute may be provided as a kit for attachment to various baling apparatuses. The invention relates to a feeding carriage for a compressor machine of the type having an upper filling end through which a particulate material which is to be compressed in a mold of the compressor machine is introduced, and a lower discharging end for discharging said particulate material towards said mold. At least some of the elements forming said feeding carriage can move with respect to one another, which thereby allows modifying the geometry of at least one of said lower discharging end, said upper filling end and an intermediate portion of the supply carriage located between both ends. The invention also relates to the use of such a feeding carriage comprising the initial steps of determining optimum carriage geometry for a particulate material which is to be compressed and applying said optimum carriage geometry to the feeding carriage.
