Package blank normalizing system
A normalizing system for use with a case former, the system's components function and use are provided. Components of the system include a frame that defines a blank magazine area and a case forming area. Case pickers within the blank magazine area are configured to engage and lift a top-most case blank from the magazine. The pickers transfer the blank to left and right clamp assemblies, which grasp respective edges of the blank and then advance the blank toward the case forming area along a linear pathway. Alignment sensors positioned across the pathway detect if the case blank is in alignment as determined by the value of the angle(s) that the leading edge of the blank forms where it intersects each of the alignment sensors. If misalignment is detected, servos which control the rate of advancement of the clamp assemblies, adjust that rate to bring the blank back into alignment.
Squaring device and counter ejector, and box-manufacturing machine
A squaring device provided to a counter ejector part that stops flat cardboard boxes fed from an upstream, using a front stop, in a downstream part of a box-manufacturing machine, receives and stacks the flat cardboard boxes in a stacking part in a hopper part, and ejects the stack as a batch. It includes a squaring plate that, while the stacking part retains in a stack position during a retention interval, squares the cardboard boxes stacked on the stacking part, in conjunction with the front stop, the retention interval being set in accordance with a feed speed of the cardboard boxes and a count setting for a stack of the cardboard boxes. A reciprocation driving unit drives the squaring plate to reciprocate toward and away from the front stop, and is configured to vary a speed ratio of a squaring speed for reciprocating the squaring plate, to the feed speed.
Packaging machine infeed, separation, and creasing mechanisms
A machine for forming packing templates includes a infeed mechanism that can feed multiple feeds of sheet material into the machine without repositioning the infeed mechanism or forming creases or bends in the sheet material. The machine also includes a separation and cutting systems with one or more cutting tables and biased knives that cut the sheet material packaging templates. The machine also includes creasing roller(s) that forms creases in the sheet material. The machine also includes a system for reducing or eliminating the impact of irregularities in the sheet material.

A tool having a blank positioning system and method for forming a container. The tool has a first tool assembly and a second tool assembly that cooperate to shape the container from a blank. The blank positioning system positions the blank between the first tool assembly and the second tool assembly prior to forming the blank into the container.
BOX FOLDING MACHINE
A box folding machine includes a base driving member, a pair of positioning units, and a base frame unit that has two opposite end portions. The base driving member is operable to drive the base frame unit to move between a first position, in which the end portions of the base frame unit are substantially arranged along a first direction, and a second position, in which the end portions of the base frame unit are substantially arranged along a second direction. Each of the positioning units includes a positioning seat. When the base frame unit is in the first position, the positioning seats of the positioning units are proximate to each other in the second direction and are misaligned from each other. When the base frame unit is in the second position, the positioning seats are distal from each other in the second direction.
Box folding machine
A box folding machine includes a base driving member, a pair of positioning units, and a base frame unit that has two opposite end portions. The base driving member is operable to drive the base frame unit to move between a first position, in which the end portions of the base frame unit are substantially arranged along a first direction, and a second position, in which the end portions of the base frame unit are substantially arranged along a second direction. Each of the positioning units includes a positioning seat. When the base frame unit is in the first position, the positioning seats of the positioning units are proximate to each other in the second direction and are misaligned from each other. When the base frame unit is in the second position, the positioning seats are distal from each other in the second direction.
BLANK JOINING MODULE WITH REGISTER CONTROL
The present invention relates to a blank joining module for a converting machine. The blank joining module comprises an upper feeder device configured to feed and transport an upper blank (2b) and a lower blank (2a) towards a junction point (J) where the upper blank is superposed onto the lower blank. The blank joining module comprises a register control system comprising a sensing system and a position correction device (86) configured to displace the upper blank to be aligned to the lower blank.

The present invention relates to a blank joining module (10) comprising an upper feeder device (32b) and a lower feeder device (32a), an upper transfer conveyor (84) configured to transport an upper blank (2b) and a lower transfer conveyor (82) configured to transport a lower blank (2a) towards a junction point (J) where the upper blank is superposed onto the lower blank. The lower transfer conveyor is provided with an inlet portion (83a) and an outlet portion (83b) and wherein the outlet portion is located downstream of the junction point. The upper transfer conveyor is located vertically above the lower transfer conveyor and comprises a funnel-shaped inlet portion (88a) and horizontal outlet portion (88b).
Blank joining module
The present invention relates to a blank joining module (10) comprising an upper feeder device (32b) and a lower feeder device (32a), an upper transfer conveyor (84) configured to transport an upper blank (2b) and a lower transfer conveyor (82) configured to transport a lower blank (2a) towards a junction point (J) where the upper blank is superposed onto the lower blank. The lower transfer conveyor is provided with an inlet portion (83a) and an outlet portion (83b) and wherein the outlet portion is located downstream of the junction point. The upper transfer conveyor is located vertically above the lower transfer conveyor and comprises a funnel-shaped inlet portion (88a) and horizontal outlet portion (88b).
AUTO-MASK FOR PACKAGING
Apparatus for automatically attaching a decorative mask to an underlying tray, where the tray has apertures for the placement therein of customer products and the mask has apertures corresponding to those of the tray. The apparatus includes mechanisms for placing the masks and the trays along conveyor belts, for applying glue to the top surface of the tray for enabling the tray and mask to be attached, and sensing means for determining the respective locations of the trays and the masks to ensure precise registration of the apertures of the masks with the corresponding apertures of the tray.
