Method and apparatus for reconfiguring containers
Methods and apparatus for forming containers from container blanks are provided. An apparatus comprises a blank holding apparatus operable to releasably hold a plurality of carton blanks in a first configuration. The apparatus also has a rotary apparatus operable to rotate an engagement device along a rotational path from a first retrieval location where the engagement device is operable to engage with and retrieve a blank from the plurality of blanks held in the blank holding apparatus, to a second operational location. The apparatus also has a movement apparatus inter-connected to the rotary apparatus. The movement apparatus is operable to move the rotary apparatus and the engagement device with the engaged blank away from the blank holding apparatus, which may be translational movement away from the blank holding apparatus.
BOX FORMING MACHINE
A box forming machine includes a converter assembly, a fold assembly, and an attachment assembly. The converter assembly converts sheet material into a box template. The fold assembly engages a first end of the box template and moves the first end of the box template to a predetermined position. The attachment assembly engages a second end of the box template and moves the second end of the box template toward and into engagement with the first end of the box template to attach the first and second ends of the box template together.
Method and machine for forming cardboard boxes by gluing, computer program, and computer-readable device that has stored said program
A method to form cardboard boxes by gluing into a box-forming machine from sheets, said machine, a computer program with instructions for said machine to execute said method, and a computer-readable device that has stored said computer program. In this method, a stage of the movement of inserting a pintle into a mold starts with a controlling element when the position of a drag element of sheet to a delivery position, where you place a sheet aligned between said pintle and mold, it corresponds to a second intermediate position between a source position and said delivery position; and a stage of activation of a supplying actuator starts with a controlling element to supply a sheet subsequent to the source position, when the position of said drag element corresponds to a third intermediate position between said source position and said second position.

Carton blank erector and feeding and shuttle machine
A carton feeding and shuttle machine includes first and second servo drives for driving first and second belts positioned on a plurality of pulleys, a first block attached to the first belt and supporting a first support shaft and a second block attached to the second belt and supporting a second support shaft. A controller controls the servo drives for driving the first and second belts. A linkage assembly includes a plurality of links configured to move a plucking head along a shaft in response to movements of the first and second belts. Specifically, relative movement of the first and second belts pivots first and third links about a first support shaft and second and fourth links about a second support shaft drawing a base along a slide shaft and extending the plucking head from a first position to a second position for engaging a carton blank in a carton blank stack.
SIDE PAPER FEEDING APPARATUS FOR FEEDING RAW SIDE PAPER FOR PAPER CUP MANUFACTURING
The present invention relates to a side paper feeding apparatus for feeding raw side paper for paper cup manufacturing, the side paper feeding apparatus comprising: a shuttle cam which is rotated by interlocking with a drive shaft and which horizontally reciprocates a shuttle plate which transfers raw side paper disposed on an upper part to a paper cup former; a driving cam unit provided under the shuttle cam and provided with a rotary cam formed on a rotary shaft fixedly coupled to the shuttle cam to intermittently rotate a first turret, an oscillator cam formed on the rotary shaft to oscillate a second turret, and link arms, wherein one end of each link arm is coupled to one end of a first shaft of the first turret and one end of a second shaft of the second turret, and the other ends are rotatably coupled; and a side paper transfer arm unit including an arm plate coupled to the other end of the first turret, rotational arms each having one end rotatably coupled to the outer circumferential surface of the arm plate at equal intervals, sub arms fixedly coupled to the other ends of the rotational arms in a direction perpendicular to the rotational arms, respectively, and having pads sucking and releasing the raw side paper by vacuum suction, and a track cam coupled to the other end of the first shaft of the first turret, and reciprocating the sub arms in the outer circumferential direction of the arm plate at least in a section in which the pads suck the raw side paper from a magazine and a section in which the raw side paper is released from the upper part of the shuttle plate.
Machine and methods for attaching a tray blank to a cover blank
A machine including a first deck, a second deck, a first blank transfer assembly, and a second blank transfer assembly is provided. The first and second decks are coupled to a frame. The first blank transfer assembly extends from a first end to a second end and includes a first pick-up assembly moveable between the first end, proximate the second deck, and the second end, proximate the first deck. The second blank transfer assembly extends from a third end to a fourth end and includes a second pick-up assembly moveable between the third end, proximate the second deck, and the fourth end, proximate the first deck. The first blank transfer assembly and the second blank transfer assembly are operationally offset when moving between the first and second ends and the third and fourth ends, respectively.

Multiple-Skived Paper-Based Container
The present invention relates generally to a new and improved paper-based container. More specifically, the invention relates to a paper-based container that is comprised of a relatively low-density polyethylene coating on one or both surfaces of the container and at least two skive flaps, wherein each of said skive flaps is created during the manufacturing process. The skive flap further comprises at least one leading edge of the container body, and prevents unwanted moisture from entering the container and the contents of the container from saturating the paper-based material. One skive flap is preferably folded in a manner in which a portion of the outside surface of the container is adhered to the inside surface, a second skive flap is adhered to the outside surface and a third skive is formed at the bottom of the container.
INDIVIDUALIZED PACKAGING
A rectangular blank has sides X and Y, where a and b are side dimensions, h is height, and r is width, or width reduced by height h, of the periphery region R of the finished packaging. The method includes: producing folding lines B in the blank parallel to side Y at these distances from the latter: B.sub.1: a.sub.1=h; B.sub.2: a.sub.2=h+a; B.sub.3: a.sub.3=2h+a; severing of two severing lines T, each starting from opposite sides X, along one of the folding lines B, or the extension thereof; selecting the distance between two end points E.sub.T of the severing lines T which are closer to an axis of symmetry S.sub.1 parallel to the side X, such that the distance corresponds to a side B″ of the finished packaging or length of a side M of a packaging insert.
