Methods and machine for forming a shipping and display container from a blank assembly using a pre-fold mandrel section

A machine for forming a container from a blank assembly including a tray blank and lid blank includes a frame, a mandrel assembly mounted to the frame, a pre-folding assembly, and a glue panel presser assembly. The mandrel assembly includes a first mandrel and a second mandrel positioned downstream from the first mandrel. The first mandrel has an external shape complementary to an internal shape of at least a first portion of the container, and the second mandrel has an external shape complementary to an internal shape of at least a second portion of the container. The pre-folding assembly is configured to fold a first portion of the blank assembly around the first mandrel to form a partially formed container. The glue panel presser assembly includes a first presser plate configured to form a first manufacturer joint, and a second presser plate configured to form a second manufacturer joint.

Methods and machine for forming a container from a blank using a pre-fold mandrel section

A machine for forming a container from a blank of sheet material includes a frame, a mandrel assembly mounted to the frame, a pre-folding assembly, and a transfer assembly. The mandrel assembly includes a first mandrel and a second mandrel. The first mandrel has an external shape complementary to an internal shape of at least a first portion of the container. The second mandrel is positioned downstream from the first mandrel, and has an external shape complementary to an internal shape of at least a second portion of the container. The pre-folding assembly is configured to fold a first portion of the blank around the first mandrel to form a partially formed container. The first portion of the blank corresponds to the first portion of the container. The transfer assembly is for transferring the partially formed container from the first mandrel to the second mandrel.

Top forming part crease applying mechanism for paper container top forming device

A top forming part creasing mechanism for forming a top portion of a paper container, the top forming part creasing mechanism includes: a first creasing device (4) that valley-folds, along horizontal folding lines (111, 113), a right side panel (112) and a left side panel (114) of a carton blank (126) fitted onto a mandrel so as to spread out the right side panel and the left side panel from a center to an outer side of the carton blank; a second creasing device (5) that makes creases by inwardly mountain-folding a top upper surface panel (108) and a top upper surface auxiliary panel (110) along horizontal folding lines (107, 109); and a third creasing device (6) that makes a crease by outwardly valley-folding a sealing panel (117), which is provided on an edge of the top upper surface auxiliary panel, along a horizontal folding line (116).

METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING A CELLULOSE BLANK STRUCTURE VIA A BUFFERING MODULE AND BUFFERING MODULE
