FOOD SCOOP WITH SEALED BOTTOM
A food scoop for holding food items is provided. The food scoop can include a perimeter sidewall formed by front and rear wall panels, a bottom panel connected to the lower ends of the front and rear wall panels, a tuck panels folded upwardly from the bottom panel on opposite sides to form a sealed bottom of the food scoop. The tuck panels can be positioned between the front and rear wall panels along an overlapping region of the sidewall to secure and enclose the lower portion of the sidewall to form the sealed bottom. The food scoop can be formed from a unitary blank having fold lines formed thereon to define the bottom panel, front and rear wall panels, and tuck panels.
WASHER BASE
A washer base used to support components of a washing machine or other large household appliance, particularly the centralized load elements, during assembly, shipping and handling by restricting their movement is provided.
SIZE-ADJUSTABLE MANDREL AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING A BOX USING THE SAME
A mandrel designed for use in the construction of a custom-sized box includes a common platform on which a plurality of peripheral members is independently mounted. Each peripheral member comprises a disc-shaped base rotatably mounted on the common platform, a tongue slidably mounted within a channel formed in the base, and a vertical upright rotatably mounted at one end of the tongue. To construct a box, an elongated continuous strip of material is helically wrapped around the vertical uprights to form a main box body with a plurality of bands. Cutting mechanisms in each upright are actuated to create slots in the main box body that define flaps used to selectively enclose the open top and bottom ends of the box body. By reconfiguring the vertical uprights in the mandrel, a customized box can be constructed that is dimensioned to receive a consumer product with limited wasted space.
BOX AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING THE SAME
A box suitable for the packaging of a consumer product is formed by helically wrapping an elongated continuous strip of material around a mandrel to form a main body with a plurality of bands. In one embodiment, adjacent bands partially overlie one another to form a multi-paneled main body with an open top end and an open bottom end. An adhesive is disposed within the region of contact between adjacent bands to retain the shape of the main body. First and second sets of slots are formed in the main body to create flaps dimensioned to selectively enclose the open top and bottom ends, respectively. To define the flaps and promote pivotal articulation, the main body is also preferably provided with score lines. By adjusting the configuration of the mandrel, a customized box can be constructed that is sized to receive a consumer product with limited wasted space.
UNIT AND METHOD FOR PLACING OBJECTS IN BOXES
A unit for boxing packaged food products including: a first rotary element with at least one first receiving seat; a first transfer station for transferring a blank from a magazine for feeding blanks to the first receiving seat; a folding station for opening up the blank; a second rotary element with at least one second receiving seat; a second transfer station for transferring the blank folded open from the first receiving seat to the second receiving seat; an insertion station for inserting the packaged food products inside the blank folded open positioned on the second receiving seat; and a closing station for closing the blank folded open, positioned on the second receiving seat and containing the packaged food products.
UNIT AND METHOD FOR PLACING OBJECTS IN BOXES
A unit for boxing packaged food products including a rotary element with at least one first seat for receiving a blank; a first transfer station for transferring the blank from a magazine for feeding blanks to a folding mould; a folding station for opening up, at least partly, the blank; a second transfer station for transferring the blank folded open from mould to the first receiving seat; an insertion station for inserting the packaged food products inside the blank folded open positioned on the first receiving seat; a closing station for closing the blank folded open, positioned on the second receiving seat and containing the packaged food products.
CARTONING MACHINE FOR MULTIPLE, DIFFERENT CARTON CONFIGURATIONS AND METHOD OF USE
A cartoning machine including a carton supply station (e.g., a rotary carton supply station, a linear carton supply station, a non-linear carton supply station, or the like) and a handling station operatively coupled to the carton supply station. The carton supply station provides, on a selective basis, cartons, such as carton blanks, pre-formed cartons, or the like. The carton supply station of the cartoning machine provides for movement of magazines with respect to a robot in the handling station that may have a distal end secured in a stationary and fixed location. As such, different magazines with dissimilar cartons may be moved to a picking location adjacent the robot, as dissimilar cartons are required. Further, the cartons within the magazines may be moved to a pre-determined pick-up location such that the robot is repeatably picking a carton from the pre-determine pick-up location.
ARRANGEMENT FOR CUTTING PAPER BOARD SHEETS, AND MACHINE COMPRISING SAID ARRANGEMENTT
An arrangement for cutting paper board sheets. The arrangement includes a first wheel and a second wheel. The first wheel is arranged to rotate around a first axis. The first wheel includes a knife and an element formed as a circular arc with substantially the same radius as the peripheral surface of the first wheel and a corresponding recess formed in the first wheel peripheral surface. The element is pivotally arranged around an axis substantially parallel to the first axis in the recess and the knife is extending from the element such that the position of the knife in relation to the first wheel is adjusted by pivoting the peripheral element by adjustment structure arranged to secure the peripheral element in the desired position. Also, a machine can include the arrangement.
PACKAGE FOR THE CONTAINMENT AND THE DISPLAY OF ARTICLES AND RELATED MANUFACTURING PROCESS
A package for containment and display of articles comprises: a box-shaped body provided with a bottom and with side walls adapted to bound a housing compartment; at least one first supporting structure comprising at least one housing cavity for the housing of a respective article; at least one second supporting structure side by side to the first supporting structure and comprising at least one housing cavity for the housing of a further respective article; wherein the supporting structures are configured to be at least partly fitted inside the housing compartment, and wherein the package also comprises a covering layer superimposed on the first supporting structure and on the second supporting structure and having a plurality of through openings, each superimposed on a respective cavity of said supporting structures.
