Display hutch
A container includes a plurality of panels connected together at fold lines configured for extending at least partially around an interior space. The panels include a front panel, a first side panel, a back panel and a second side panel. The back panel includes a first back portion and a second back portion. At least one of the first back portion or the second back portion is free from openings. A shelf panel is foldably connected to the front panel. The first back portion is adhered to the shelf panel.
CARTON WITH INTEGRATED PARTITION AND RELATED METHODS
Disclosed is a carton with an integrated partition formed from a single blank and that can be erected from a folded and glued configuration in a single step. The unerected carton is configured so it snaps automatically into an erected carton with integrated partition when a user simply applies slight pressure to the corners of the unerected carton. The erected carton with integrated partition can then be easily collapsed into the unerected configuration by simply squeezing opposing sides of the erected partition about the corners. Since the carton with integrated partition is configured to move easily and automatically between the unerected and erected positions, the carton with integrated partition is suitable for repeated use.
Carton forming or feeding machine with controlled motion
A machine for forming a carton from a carton blank. The machine includes at least one mover including a picker for picking the carton blank from the hopper and associating the carton blank with the mover. A controlled motion track is provided for moving the at least one mover and picker along a path of travel to a stationary position for engaging the carton blank in the hopper. A further aspect relates to maintaining a suction force on the carton blank during conveyance, including along a linear portion of the track associated with a lugged conveyor for assisting in erecting the blank into a carton. Another aspect relates to a rotatable bucket for receiving and supporting the product, and a controlled motion track for positioning the bucket and associated product for delivery to the carton. Related methods are also described.
Device for the single-sided closure of packaging sleeves for the production of composite packages
A device is depicted and described for the single-sided closure of packaging sleeves for the production of composite packages, in particular carton/plastic-composite packages, by forming by means of a mandrel wheel with a plurality of mandrels arranged distributed uniformly over the circumference and directed radially outwards, which pass successively through several processing stations in the circumferential direction of the mandrel wheel, wherein each mandrel has a head on its free end, on which the folding sections to be closed of the packaging sleeve slid onto the mandrel are folded and sealed in the closed position, and wherein the head of the mandrel is designed to be variable in its outer dimensions. In order to reliably ensure a reliable and in particular a pocket-free sealing of the end area of the packaging sleeve on the mandrel, it is provided that at least two corner segments of the head are variable in their position, that the mandrel in its interior has at least one axially movable tappet for the adjustment of the head geometry and that the corner segments of the head are designed as pivot elements, which can be brought from a sealing position into a retracted position.
Method and device for forming package bodies which are open on one side using an oscillating gripper
Described and illustrated is a device for at least partially unfolding package sleeves, having a magazine comprising a stack formed from package sleeves, wherein the package sleeves of the stack are folded flat around at least two folding edges extending in the longitudinal direction of the package sleeves and wherein a gripper is provided for gripping a side of the package sleeves facing away from the stack and for moving, in particular pulling, the package sleeves along a withdrawal transport path with the folding edges into grooves of at least one receptacle of a moulding station and wherein the grooves are spaced so that the folding edges of the package sleeves are spaced apart further in the magazine than in the grooves. In order to further prevent operational malfunctions and allow a more reliable and largely malfunction-free production of packaging bodies which are open on one side from package sleeves which are open on both sides, it is provided that a drive is assigned to the gripper and/or the grooves for moving the package sleeve section gripped by the gripper first along the withdrawal transport path across a groove plane which connects the grooves, then back against the withdrawal transport path across the groove plane, and then again along the withdrawal transport path across the groove plane.
BOX ASSEMBLY DEVICE AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING BOX
In a box assembly device, a holding mechanism causes one of bottom boards to contact a first jig and folds the bottom board inside, while the holding mechanism holding the box material in a state where the box material is developed in a cylindrical shape from a folded state. The folding mechanism folds the bottom flap inside so as to overlap with one of the bottom boards. The holding mechanism causes the other bottom board to contact the second jig while holding the box material and folds the other bottom board inside and upwardly so as to overlap with the bottom flap to engage the bottom boards with each other.
Unit and method for placing objects in boxes
A unit for boxing packaged food products including a rotary element with at least one first seat for receiving a blank; a first transfer station for transferring the blank from a magazine for feeding blanks to a folding mould; a folding station for opening up, at least partly, the blank; a second transfer station for transferring the blank folded open from mould to the first receiving seat; an insertion station for inserting the packaged food products inside the blank folded open positioned on the first receiving seat; a closing station for closing the blank folded open, positioned on the second receiving seat and containing the packaged food products.
Unit and method for placing objects in boxes
A unit for boxing packaged food products including: a first rotary element with at least one first receiving seat; a first transfer station for transferring a blank from a magazine for feeding blanks to the first receiving seat; a folding station for opening up the blank; a second rotary element with at least one second receiving seat; a second transfer station for transferring the blank folded open from the first receiving seat to the second receiving seat; an insertion station for inserting the packaged food products inside the blank folded open positioned on the second receiving seat; and a closing station for closing the blank folded open, positioned on the second receiving seat and containing the packaged food products.
Adaptable Tooling Methods, System and Apparatuses
A customizable case former and it system and method of use provide for a case former having a base, interchangeable case gages and forming heads. Contained within the interior of the base are slide blocks mounted on slide rails and assemblies in such a manner as to allow the slide blocks to be slidingly reconfigured to form a case forming cavity of varicose sizes and shapes. The size and shape of the case forming cavity is established and maintained by a template opening, defined by, and potentially unique to, each case gage. The size and shape of the forming head corresponds to the size and shape of the template opening. The slide blocks are secured to the case gage by removable locking pins.
Liquid storage container and method for folding the container
A liquid storage container which can be securely inflated within an external container. The liquid storage container includes a bag body and an ejection outlet. The bag body includes a plurality of bellows portions formed by accordion-folding the bag body along longitudinal crease lines, and has a double-folded portion formed by folding the bag body along an upper lateral crease line and a lower lateral crease line. With reference to the bag body, the following relations are satisfied: 10%<X/H<50%, 3%<Y/H<10%, where H is the length of the bag body, x is the distance between the top periphery and the lower lateral crease line, and Y is the distance between the upper lateral crease line and the lower lateral crease line.
