CORRUGATED CARDBOARD SHEET FEEDING APPARATUS AND BOX MAKING MACHINE
A corrugated cardboard sheet feeding apparatus, which comprises: an upstream-side conveying unit which conveys a corrugated cardboard sheet mounted on delivery rollers; and a downstream-side conveying unit which is adjacent to the downstream side of the upstream-side conveying unit and conveys, to a sheet processing unit, the corrugated cardboard sheet delivered from the upstream-side conveying unit. The downstream-side conveying unit has: a downstream-side suction unit which has openings facing a sheet conveyance path; and feed rollers with a portion of the outer peripheral surfaces thereof protruding towards the sheet conveyance path, which are accommodated in the downstream-side suction unit. The distance between the downstream ends of the openings and the axis of the most-downstream-side delivery rollers is set to be not larger than the maximum range of the distance between the conveyance rollers of the sheet processing unit.

SHEET DRYING DEVICE AND METHOD, AND BOX MAKING MACHINE
A sheet drying device and method, and a box making machine, wherein provided are: a heating lamp (111) that is disposed facing a printing face of a cardboard sheet (S); a voltage adjusting unit (122) that adjusts the voltage of electrical power supplied to the heating lamp (111); a voltage setting unit (121) that sets the working voltage of the heating lamp (111) by increasing or decreasing a reference voltage according to the thickness of a water-based paint on the cardboard sheet (S), where the reference voltage is a voltage that is less than the rated voltage of the heating lamp (111) by a preset prescribed value; and a controlling device (101) that changes the voltage of the heating lamp (111) to the working voltage set by the voltage setting unit (121) using the voltage adjusting unit (122).
PRINTING DEVICE, PRINTER, AND BOX MAKING MACHINE
A printing device, a printing machine, and a box making machine are provided with printing cylinders on which printing plates can be mounted, ink supply rolls that are placed on the upstream or downstream sides of the printing cylinders in a sheet-conveying direction and that can be in contact with the printing cylinders, ink supply units that can supply ink to the ink supply rolls, first covers that cover the upper parts of the printing cylinders in the vertical direction and that can be opened and closed, and footholds that cover the vertically upper parts of the ink supply rolls and that can be operated by an operator.
Sheet stacking device, counter-ejector, and carton former
The present invention provides a sheet stacking device, a counter-ejector, and a carton former and is provided with: a hopper unit that stacks cardboard boxes; feed rollers that feed a cardboard box to the hopper unit; a first blower device that blows air from above the hopper unit toward the cardboard box fed by the feed rollers; and a second blower device that blows air between the cardboard box stacked in the hopper unit and the cardboard box fed by the feed roller.
Continuous fanfolded joined corrugated
A bale of stock packaging material includes a continuous tube of paperboard material, the continuous tube of paperboard material being flattened and folded back and forth on itself into a fan-folded bale. The continuous tube of paperboard can be a single piece of paperboard with two opposed edges that are folded to overlap with each other. The paperboard material can include a corrugated layer. The opposed edges can be adhered together to form a single seam that runs lengthwise along the continuous tube of paperboard. The adhesive can be applied between the two edges which can join to form the single seam.
SHEET STACKING DEVICE, COUNTER EJECTOR, AND BOX MAKING MACHINE
A sheet stacking device includes a hopper unit on which box making sheet material is stacked; an ejection unit that ejects the sheet material to the hopper unit; a first blowing device that is disposed above the downstream side of the hopper unit in the transfer direction of the sheet material and that presses the sheet material downward by blowing air; a pressing device that is disposed above an upstream side of the hopper unit in the transfer direction of the sheet material and that presses the sheet material downward; and a control device that controls an operation of the first blowing device pressing a front end of the sheet material downward, and controls an operation of the pressing device so as to press a rear end of the sheet material downward with a pressing force higher than that applied to the front end of the sheet material.

POUCH CONTAINMENT AND CARTON LOADING
A stack of products such as pouches are formed in a product bucket, pushed into a stack guide bucket and from there into a carton. A stack tamp descends over the stack, engages and confines it downwardly during stack pushing from product bucket and through stack guide bucket into a carton. Multiple product buckets, stack guide buckets and cartons move downstream during cartoning, and are respectively aligned in a cartoning station. Reciprocal containment blades hold the stack in respective cartons prior to flap closing.
Checking device and method for checking the quality of foldable boxes, and manufacturing installation comprising this checking device
A quality-control device (200) includes: an illumination system (202) for illuminating one peripheral face of each folding box, an image capture device (204) for forming a multiple image of the respective peripheral faces of a bundle of folding boxes, an image processing system (206) for: i) detecting within the multiple image each peripheral end of the slots of each box that separate its adjacent flaps, ii) generating a data set indicative of the geometry of each peripheral end, and iii) analyzing the data set to determine the width of each peripheral end.
