Plastic Bag Making Apparatus
In order to provide an apparatus for successively making plastic bags each of which includes panel portions and a bottom gusset portion, in a way different from the prior art, upper and lower webs of panel material are superposed on each other and fed longitudinally thereof. A web of bottom gusset material is supplied to one of the webs of panel material to be superposed on the outer surface thereof, the web of bottom gusset material having opposite side edges one of which extends along ones of the opposite side edges of the webs of panel material. The web of bottom gusset material and the other web of panel material are temporarily fixed to each other at ones of the opposite side edges thereof after the webs of panel material are superposed and the web of bottom gusset material is supplied. One of the webs or the other web of panel material and the web of bottom gusset material are then guided so that one of the webs or the other web of panel material can be folded at a position adjacent to ones of the opposite side edges of the webs of panel material when the webs of panel material are fed. The web of bottom gusset material is combined with the webs of panel material. The panel portions are formed by the webs of panel material while the bottom gusset portion is formed by the web of bottom gusset material.
SYSTEM AND PROCESS FOR MAKING A POUCH OR CONTAINER
A system and process for making a container or pouch that separates the cutting and sealing steps into two distinct steps with a separate step of rotating the container or pouch template 90 degrees relative to a direction of travel between the cutting and sealing steps.
ZIPPER TAPE-EQUIPPED BAG BODY, ARTICLE HOUSING METHOD FOR ZIPPER TAPE-EQUIPPED BAG BODY, MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR ZIPPER TAPE-EQUIPPED BAG BODY, AND MANUFACTURING DEVICE FOR ZIPPER TAPE-EQUIPPED BAG BODY
A female belt-shaped base is attached to a bag body at a region from a female hook to a first end near an open end of the bag body and to a second end near a housing space. A male belt-shaped base is attached to the bag body only in a bonding region without being attached at a region from a position where an engagement portion is continuously attached to a first end near the open end of the bag body.
Flexible packages having concealed graphics panel
A flexible package includes a seal region and a concealed graphics panel. The seal region includes an unsealed area disposed between a first seal portion and a second seal portion. The concealed graphics panel is located substantially within the unsealed area of the seal region where it is not visible until the flexible package is opened. The configuration of the seal region and related location of the concealed graphics panel provides for a concealed graphics panel space that is separate from the product storage space at least when the flexible package is closed. The flexible package may be formed from simple film structures.
FLEXIBLE PACKAGING FOR A LIQUID AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SUCH A PACKAGING
The invention relates to a packaging (1) for a liquid, the packaging comprising two layers of flexible material which are arranged superimposed each other and sealed together to form a pouch. The two layers are furthermore sealed together in asealing region (3) extending at a distance from an edge (4) of the packaging (1) while leaving a transition region (5) free from sealing. The sealing region thereby forms a delimitation between a receptacle (6) for holding the liquid and an outlet channel (7) which is in fluid communication with the receptacle (6) via the transition region. The sealing region (3) comprises a splitter (18) extending along a part of the sealing region, the splitter being shaped and arranged so that it is configured to provide a spout (11) comprising the outlet channel. The spout is obtained by applying a separation extending from the edge to the splitter and then along the splitter, and wherein wherein the sealing region (3) has a shape comprising at least one bulge (15) protruding in a plane of the sealing region (3). The invention further relates to methods of manufacturing such a packaging.
PACKING BAG AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME
In a packing bag to store a stored article Z with tight seal by a welded sheet material 1, a separation-prepared line portion 5, separable by predetermined tensile force by human hands, is provided, and, the separation-prepared line portion 5 is composed of half-cut laser-worked grooves 7 disposed parallel with a small interval and concaved on an inner face 1a and an outer face 1b.
FIXTURE HANGER ASSEMBLY
A fixture mounting assembly facilitates efficient and convenient mounting of lighting fixtures and like elements on various types of ceiling mounting components. In one embodiment, the mounting assembly in configured to readily adjustable in length, with the adjustable nature of the assembly facilitating versatile use by permitting convenient adjustment of the assembly to accommodate different, typically standardized spacing of the mounting components. In this embodiment, the assembly includes first and second, inner and outer channel members arranged in sliding, telescopic relationship. The channel members define and arrangement of openings and slots to facilitate fitment to different types of ceiling mounting components. The telescoping nature of the channel members facilitate their fitment to associated ceiling mounting components which may have different, standardized spacing. Efficient and versatile use desirably offers significant savings in time and installation costs for fixture installation. In alternative embodiment, a fixture hanger assembly includes a pair a substantially identical channel members configured for efficient fitment to so-called hard-lid/hat-rack ceiling components.
METHOD OF FORMING A BONDED PACKAGE GUSSET
The present invention is directed to a method forming a bottom-gusseted package, wherein each package includes an inwardly-extending, pleat-like gusset at the bottom of the package. To permit heat-sealing formation of each package, the sleeve from which each gusset is formed comprises a lamination of two differing polymeric materials, so that only an exterior surface of each sleeve exhibits the desired heat-sealing characteristics. To facilitate package formation, the sleeves from which the bottom gussets are formed are maintained in a temporarily closed or sealed configuration during package formation by providing a preferably frangible bond or seal at the edge of each sleeve. This result is preferably achieved by folding the laminate material, and temporarily sealing or joining an outer layer of the laminate material from which gusset is formed, while an inner layer is maintained in an unsealed condition.
Bag making method and bag making apparatus
The product efficiency of bags each with an end face part is increased. A panel webs is guided to be divided along a line of weakness of the panel web and to be folded along division edges of the panel web. This guiding of the first panel and temporary sealed sections cause a side gusset to be cut open along a line of weakness of the side gusset such that open surfaces are formed. After the forming of the open surfaces, an end face web is supplied to be superposed on folded parts of the panel web and the open surfaces of the side gusset.
ENVELOPE AND RELEASE COVER FORMED FROM COMMON SUBSTRATE
Envelopes include a cover for covering and isolating a closure sealing element on the envelope before the envelope is loaded and sealed. The cover can be formed as part of an adjacent wall of the envelope, and can be separated from the wall by a cut or a line or weakness between the cover and the wall.
