The set is supported over a set of front traction wheels and a set of smaller rear wheels and also houses a vibrating sieve, above which is located a beating cylinder, the front edge of which connects to a concentrating guiding roller and a hinged inlet nozzle, as well as a cockpit and a grain dumper located over the set. Preceding the grain dumper is a clean grain collection gutter, a motor power set, a suction cleaning set, a clean grain elevator and lastly, a retractable side belt, whose lower edge is hinged at its midpoint and located on the upper edge of the intermediate structure.

The cut crop passes into the cut crop opening, to be further cut by the plurality of cutters and threshed by the plurality of rotatable threshers, such that the flame and water are projected onto the cut crop, resulting in a processed crop and detritus that is separated from the processed crop.

An agricultural vehicle includes a chassis, a threshing and separating mechanism supported by the chassis and configured for threshing and separating a crop material, a cleaning system positioned downstream of the threshing and separating mechanism in a direction of crop material flow, and an auxiliary processing system positioned downstream of the threshing and separating mechanism in the direction of crop material flow. The auxiliary processing system has an inlet and an outlet, and includes a discharge chopper having an end and a first direction of rotation about an axis of rotation. The auxiliary processing system also includes at least one rethreshing element coaxially aligned with the discharge chopper and adjacent to the end of the discharge chopper and having a second direction of rotation opposite to the first direction of rotation of the discharge chopper.

Air assisted thresher

A thresher for a combine harvester has a concave cage and a rotor disposed within the concave cage. The rotor carries material manipulators that extend outward from the rotor toward the cage to manipulate material in the concave cage as the rotor rotates. One or more air nozzles are provided that direct air outward from the rotor and toward the concave cage. A source of forced air circulates air through the one or more air nozzles.
