Paper converting plant
Paper converting plant, including means for producing logs of paper material starting from one or more paper webs fed by corresponding reels, an embossing unit, a bridge crane with arms provided with grippers, and a rewinder that produces logs using the webs coming from the embossing unit, wherein the embossing unit is arranged to be configured in a first use configuration in which one or more embossing rollers positioned inside it are stably locked to respective support means and a second removal configuration in which said one or more embossing rollers are disengaged from said support means and can be extracted from the embossing unit, the plant also includes a storing unit in which are stored one or more embossing rolls according to a predefined storage order such that each embossing roller occupies a predetermined position in the same storage unit, each embossing roller having a respective longitudinal axis.
Calender for the treatment of web-like materials
A calender for the treatment of web-like materials, including a fixed structure adapted to support two heated rollers shaped to be connected to the fixed structure, to a drive unit and to a heating system. The calender includes automatic elements for engaging and respectively for disengaging the rollers to and from the fixed structure, the drive unit and the heating system; the automatic elements are controlled by a programmable control unit and each of the rollers has an engaging surface shaped to be engaged by mechanical elements for moving the rollers which move the rollers between the calender and one or more waiting or parking stations while the rollers are at a temperature between 50? C. and 200? C.
Embossing device and method
An embossing device (1) includes three embossing rollers (5, 7, 9), each co-acting with a pressure roller (11, 15, 19), to emboss a plurality of paper plies (V1, V2, V3). Two embossing rollers can be easily interchanged to switch from a nested configuration to a tip-to-tip configuration, or to switch from one type of pattern to another. A lamination roller and a glue dispenser are arranged around one of the embossing rollers.
Magazine For Embossing Rollers And Embossing Device Comprising The Magazine
The magazine for embossing rollers includes a plurality of support seats for embossing rollers, adjacent to one another according to an alignment direction. The magazine further includes a guide system for guiding the seats in a handling direction. The seats are provided with mutual connecting members so as to be connected to, and released from, one another.
Embossing-laminating device
The embossing-laminating device includes load bearing structure with at least two side members, a first path, for a first ply of web material, and a second path for a second ply of web material. Along the first path, a first pressure roller and a first interchangeable embossing roller are arranged, which define therebetween a first embossing nip for the first ply of web material. Along the second path a second pressure roller and a second interchangeable embossing roller are arranged, which define a second embossing nip for the second ply of web material. The embossing-laminating device also includes a magazine including a plurality of seats for a plurality of interchangeable embossing rollers, as well as at least a first manipulator for replacing embossing rollers.
System for handling dies comprising a support and a handler
System for handling dies with a rectangular and/or arched transverse cross-section that comprises a support for placing in a removable manner dies having a rectangular transverse cross-section, the support being designed to be coupled in a sliding manner to a fixed structure, in which at least said support has fastening means for holding at least one die with a rectangular transverse cross-section vertically in the air; and a handler provided with hooking means designed to be coupled to the support to place and/or remove the support with respect to the fixed structure, the handler having coupling means to be coupled to a transelevator or similar. This system is designed to facilitate the operations of placing and removing the dies during their storage.
TOOL-HOLDER HEAD, TRANSPORT CARRIAGE AND METHODS FOR MOUNTING AND REMOVING A TOOL FOR A UNIT FOR CONVERTING A FLAT SUBSTRATE
A tool-holder head for a carriage for transporting rotary tools of a unit for converting a flat substrate, which includes an upper port (29) and a lower port (30) arranged one above the other and intended to receive a front end of an upper rotary tool (10) and a front end of a lower rotary tool (11), respectively.
Method And Apparatus for Changing Rollers on an Embosser/Laminator Machine
An embosser/laminator machine has an adhesive unit releasably connectable with a main frame structure of the machine, and a roll extractor configured to move a roll between the main frame structure and an exchange position between the main frame structure and the adhesive unit when the adhesive unit is spaced from the main frame structure during removal and installation of the roll. The sub-frame comprising the adhesive unit may be formed with a bearing cap that cooperates with the main frame structure such that when the adhesive unit is connected with the main frame structure, the roll is operatively secured to the machine between main frame structure and the sub-frame of the adhesive unit for normal operation of the machine. When the sub-frame comprising the adhesive unit is released and spaced from main frame structure, the roll may be removed from and installed into the main frame structure.
A MULTIPLE ROLLER EMBOSSER AND METHOD FOR SELECTING AN EMBOSSING ROLLER
The embosser includes two load-bearing structures that are mutually movable to approach and move away from each other. The first load-bearing structure supports a plurality of first embossing rollers that can be selectively brought to an operating position, in which they cooperate with a first pressure roller. The second load-bearing structure supports one or more second embossing rollers cooperating with a second pressure roller. The two support structures can be moved away from each other to allow the selection movement of the first embossing rollers.
