Pet training pad with visually stimulating indiciums for dichromatic animals
The present invention is a pet training pad apparatus suitable for excrement training for dichromatic animals. The pet training pad apparatus comprises a pad body and a visually stimulating indicium. The pad body comprises an excretion surface, an absorbent layer, and an impermeable layer. The visually stimulating indicium comprises at least one dichromatic vision detecting element. The absorbent layer is connected between the excretion surface and the impermeable layer. The visually stimulating indicium is connected along the excretion surface, opposite to the impermeable layer. The at least one dichromatic vision detecting element is distributed about the visually stimulating indicium, where the at least one dichromatic vision detecting element is configured to visually attract animals with dichromatic vision.
System and method for treating pets
A system and method for treating pets, the system comprising: a content provider to provide video and audio content adapted for treating a pet; a video and audio output device for playing the video and audio content; and a feedback interface for providing indications to the content provider about behavior of the pet, wherein the content provider is to adapt the provided content according to the received indications. The method comprising playing video and audio content by a video and audio out-put device, the content comprising: an image adapted for treating a pet; and a sound adapted for treating a pet; receiving indications about behavior of the pet; and adapting the played content according to the received indications.
Olfactory mat for domestic animals
A washable, reusable mat that serves as a stimulation device for animals, the mat having a base with a pile thereon, the pile being formed from a plurality of fingers which are arranged to form a structure with a plurality of spaces. Food or treats for the animal (e.g., a dog), are placed on the mat, and the food or treats fall among the fingers and are captured within the spaces formed in the pile by the fingers. The animal locates the food or treats by employing the animal's olfactory senses, such as smell and taste, to locate the food within the mat pile. The animal may use its nose (or paws) to gain access to the captured food by tunneling among the fingers, moving the fingers aside, or other action to access the hidden food.
Enhanced location tracking using ultra-wideband
Disclosed herein are systems and methods related to a wireless tracking system: The wireless tracking system having a plurality of beacons, each of the plurality of beacons having at least one antenna and at least one power source. When the at least one antenna is supplied with power via the power source, a local ping is transmitted from the beacon. A wireless tracking device then receives the ping via its own antenna. Once the wireless tracking device has received a locational ping from at least two of the plurality of beacons, it can then calculate a direct connection path between the at least to beacons. Based on this known path, the wireless tracking device can then determine a distance between the wireless tracking device and connection path. Based on the determined distance, the wireless tracking device may then issue a corrective measure.
Modular pet recreational assembly
A modular pet recreational assembly includes at least a frame, which may include a first frame having a first vertical wall and a second vertical wall opposite the first vertical wall. Multifunctional support dowels may connect first vertical wall to second vertical wall. One or more shelves may protrude beyond first vertical wall and second vertical wall. A sheet of flexible material may be incorporated, with a first end secured to the at least a frame and a second end secured to the at least a frame. The sheet of flexible material, shelf, and/or first or second vertical wall may have one or more openings sized to permit passage of a small animal such as a cat.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING A SUBJECT IN A PREMISES
A system is described herein that comprises a communications device periodically transmitting a radio frequency signal, wherein the periodically transmitted signal includes data. The system includes a receiver detecting the periodically transmitted signal, the detecting including measuring strength of the periodically transmitted signal, the detecting including using the signal strength to provide a first estimate of the receiver's distance from the communications device. The system includes the communications device comprising at least one location sensor for determining an additional distance indication, wherein the data includes the additional distance indication. The system includes the receiver performing a function when the first estimate meets at least one criterion and when the additional distance indication indicates a first state.
PET CHASE TOY
A pet toy includes a wheel base that moves randomly or pseudo-randomly and a rod detachably connected to the wheel base configured to hold a treat or other food item desirable to the pet companion is described herein. The wheel base and/or the rod may have one or more modes of movement that may be activated based on a movement algorithm that randomly or pseudo-randomly moves/turns the wheel base and/or the rod and/or a one or more sensors that detect obstacles. A proximate end of the may be detachably connected to a corresponding rod connector of the wheel base. The distal end of the rod may be configured to grab and/or hold the food item and/or have the food item wedged into it.
HANDHELD FOOD ITEM DISPENSER
A handheld dispenser for retaining disk-shaped food items includes a housing enclosing an interior chamber, a housing back end and an open front end, a tray for receiving disc-shaped food items, the tray slideably insertable in the open front end of the housing and a plunger having a cross-section corresponding to the interior chamber and an angled front face, the plunger slideable with respect to the housing and the tray. A dispenser may also include a housing having a top shell slideably engaged with a bottom shell to form an interior chamber with an open front end and a closed back end. Either housing may include a plunger having a cross-section corresponding to the interior chamber and an angled front face, the plunger slideable with respect to the housing.
Methods and systems for controlling the barking of an animal
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for controlling the barking of an animal that wears a monitoring device. The systems may obtain status information of the animal from the monitoring device, and determine whether the animal is barking based on the status information. The systems may also obtain a first audio signal representing a first sound from the monitoring device in response to a determination that the animal is barking, and determine whether an anti-bark operation needs to be performed on the animal based on the first audio signal. The systems may further cause the monitoring device to perform the anti-bark operation on the animal in response to a determination that the anti-bark operation needs to be performed on the animal.
Device and method for training animals
An improved lunging tool utilized to train animals, such as horses. The lunging tool includes a stiffening component inserted into an internal pocket of the body. The lunging tool is configured to attach to a harness or halter on one end and a lunging line or rope on the other end to enable a trainer to lead the animal by both pushing and pulling on the animal. The length of the stiffening component of the improved lunging tool prevents entanglement with the animal's legs if the trainer drops the improved lunging tool.
