Semi-Finished Product And Method For Producing A Structural Component
A semi-finished product for the manufacture of a structural component has a plurality of prepreg tapes, each having unidirectionally arranged reinforcing fibers embedded in a thermoplastic matrix material, and with a plurality of connecting strands containing a thermoplastic material. The prepreg tapes and the connecting strands are either joined to form a textile sheet structure or the prepreg tapes are arranged to form a multiaxial fabric, individual layers of the fabric being joined by the connecting strands. Further, a method for manufacturing a curved structural component from such a semi-finished product is described.

Reinforcement material comprising a porous layer made of partially cross-linked thermoplastic polymer and associated methods
The present invention relates to a reinforcement material including at least one fiber reinforcement associated on at least one of its faces with a porous layer, the porous layer(s) representing no more than 10% of the total weight of the reinforcement material, preferably from 0.5 to 10% of the total weight of the reinforcement material, and most preferably from 2 to 6% of the total weight of the reinforcement material, characterized in that the porous layer contains a partially cross-linked thermoplastic polymer. Another object of the invention is a precursor material of such a reinforcement material, as well as their preparation method and the methods for manufacturing a preform or a composite part from such materials.

The present invention relates to a reinforcement material including at least one fiber reinforcement associated on at least one of its faces with a porous layer, the porous layer(s) representing no more than 10% of the total weight of the reinforcement material, preferably from 0.5 to 10% of the total weight of the reinforcement material, and most preferably from 2 to 6% of the total weight of the reinforcement material, characterized in that the porous layer contains a partially cross-linked thermoplastic polymer. COMPOSITION FOR A WETSUIT
A wetsuit comprising a Yulex® foam layer, further includes a jersey layer of polypropylene (PP) fiber that is adhered to the Yulex foam layer, either on an outer surface (i.e. away from a wearer's body) or an inner surface (i.e. close to a wearer's skin), or both. A wetsuit disclosed herein can further include an inner lining of a synthetic or natural textile, which may or may not be patterned, and which can be adhered directly to the Yulex foam layer or to the PP jersey layer.
Melamine wipes and methods of manufacture
Methods for manufacturing wipes including melamine entangled into a nonwoven, and associated articles of manufacture. Such a method may include providing a melamine sheet (e.g., contiguous, rather than discrete melamine particles), providing first and second nonwoven sheets, and positioning the melamine sheet between the first and second nonwoven sheets. The sandwich structure is hydro-entangled at high pressure to force the melamine material to become entangled into the nonwoven material, to a degree that a portion of the melamine is actually exposed on the exterior face(s) of the wipe, which are generally provided by the nonwoven sheets. Such a wipe exhibits the drapability of a wipe, with the scrubbing benefits (e.g., very effective cleaning of baseboards, crayon off walls, etc.) of melamine, with greater durability than existing melamine cleaning articles, which tend to quickly crumble during use.
STITCH BONDED WIPE
A wipe structure of stitch bonded construction incorporating at least one inner layer of cellulose tissue disposed in sandwiched relation between a first discontinuous cover layer of spunbonded polypropylene fleece and a second discontinuous cover layer of spunbonded polypropylene fleece such that the inner layer, the first discontinuous cover layer and the second discontinuous cover layer form a stacked composite and a plurality of stitching yarns extending in stitched relation through the stacked composite.
