TAMPER EVIDENT HYBRID RESEALABLE CONTAINER
The present invention relates to a composite container comprising a bottom film layer and a top film layer at least partially adhered to the bottom film layer. The top film layer is scored to form at least one resealable flap and at least one pull tab which is not adhered to the bottom film layer. The bottom film layer comprises at least one cavity opening. A cardboard layer is adhered on its lower surface to the upper surface of the top film layer, wherein the cardboard layer has at least one cavity opening which is substantially aligned with the scoring of the top film layer resealable flap and the cardboard layer is perforated to define a perimeter of at least one pull tab which is substantially aligned with and adhered, on its underside, to the upper surface of the top film layer pull tab.
Flexible display and method of manufacturing the same
A flexible display is disclosed. In one aspect, the display includes a flexible substrate and a protection film formed over the flexible substrate. The display further includes a layer of adhesive material formed between the flexible substrate and the protection film, wherein a plurality of patterns are formed in the adhesive layer.
Method for producing corrugated board
An apparatus is provided for producing longitudinally corrugated product. The apparatus includes a guide roll for guiding a web of medium material, wherein at least a portion of the guide roll is adapted to be arranged at an angle relative to another portion of the guide roll. The apparatus further includes a plurality of flute forming bars oriented generally along a longitudinal axis of the web to define a first corrugating labyrinth effective to longitudinally corrugate the web to an intermediate geometry. The apparatus further includes a pair of corrugating rollers that cooperate to define, at a nip therebetween, a second corrugating labyrinth effective to longitudinally corrugate the web to a substantially final geometry. The apparatus further includes a web travel pathway for the web that follows a path around a portion of the guide roll, through the first corrugating labyrinth, and through the second corrugating labyrinth.
Method for producing a floorboard
A method for producing a floorboard having a topside veneer includes forming a multilayer body which includes a starting carrier plate, a plurality of veneers placed on the starting carrier plate so that a gap is formed between neighboring ones of the veneers, a resin layer including a resin provided between the starting carrier plate and the veneers, and a balancing layer arranged on a bottom side of the starting carrier plate; joining the starting carrier plate, the resin layer, the veneers and the balancing layer by pressing the multilayer body in a press; separating the multilayer body into individual boards between the neighboring veneers in a region of the gap; profiling the individual boards at side borders of the boards; and providing the individual boards with joining means.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A FILM INTERMEDIATE PRODUCT, FILM INTERMEDIATE PRODUCT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PRODUCT
A The invention relates to a method for producing a film intermediate product (1), a film intermediate product (1), as well as a product produced hereby. The film intermediate product (1) is here formed by means of depositing one or more film elements (311 to 314), which is or are formed in each case of a cutout of one or more donor films (301 to 304).
APPLICATION AND FASTENING OF A DEFINED NUMBER OF INDIVIDUAL ELEMENTS TO A SUBSTRATE WEB
The invention relates to a method for applying and attaching a defined number n of individual elements to a defined number m of predefined positions on a surface of a moving substrate web. The invention further relates to a moving substrate web onto which a defined number n of individual elements are to be applied and attached to a defined number m of predefined positions on a surface of a moving substrate web. According to the invention, an adhesive is applied to the surface of the substrate web at each of the predefined positions so that respectively at least one individual element can be attached at respectively one predefined position, and no adhesive is applied outside the predefined positions.
Product having plurality of components fixed to each other by adhesive
A product includes a first component, a second component and an adhesive. The adhesive fills an interior space that is surrounded by the first component and the second component. The second component comprising an inlet that communicates between an exterior space of the second component and the interior space so as to enable the adhesive to be injected into the interior space. The inlet comprising a tapered portion that narrows from the exterior space towards the interior space.
Label stacking machine and method
A device for stacking a plurality of partially connected labels into a plurality of partially connected pads of labels comprises a robot arm having at least one vacuum source configured to selectively supply a vacuum force. The device also includes a plate coupled to the robot arm and a flexible pad coupled to the plate and including a plurality of apertures configured to direct the majority of the vacuum force through the flexible pad to a surface of the plurality of partially connected labels.
METHODS FOR TREATING NEURAL CELL SWELLING
A composition comprising a novel Ca.sup.2+-activated, [ATP].sub.i-sensitive nonspecific cation (NC.sub.Ca-ATP) channel is described. The channel is found in mammalian neural cells and exhibits a different sensitivity to block by various adenine nucleotides, and is activated by submicromolar [Ca].sub.i. The NC.sub.Ca-ATP channel is activated under conditions of ATP depletion, which causes severe cell depolarization, followed by cell swelling. The NC.sub.Ca-ATP channel is regulated by a sulfonylurea receptor and is inhibited by sulfonylurea compounds glibenclamide and tolbutamide. Methods employing compositions comprising the NC.sub.Ca-ATP channel to screen for compounds that block the channel and the use of such antagonists as therapeutics in preventing brain swelling and damage are described. In addition, methods employing compositions comprising the Kir2.3 channel to screen for compounds that open the channel and the use of such antagonists as therapeutics in preventing brain swelling and damage are described.
Optical Element Stack Assemblies
The present disclosure describes optical element stack assemblies that include multiple substrates stacked one over another. At least one of the substrates includes an optical element, such as a DOE, on its surface. The stack assemblies can be fabricated, for example, in wafer-level processes.
