CUSHIONED BATH MAT
20210076857 · 2021-03-18 ·

The invention pertains to a cushioned mat, in particular bath mat, including a non-slip base material, a cushion layer secured to the non-slip base material, a surface layer arrangement secured to a surface of the cushion layer opposite to the non-slip base material. The surface layer arrangement includes a textile material layer and a flexible cable including a cushioned core and an outer sleeve formed form textile material, the flexible cable being braided with or tufted to the textile material layer. In embodiments the flexible cable is braided or woven to form ornamental patterns.

Multi-Layer Cushion With Convolute Sleeve

A multi-layer cushion with convolute sleeve comprises a cushion, such as a pillow, having an outer sleeve which has a first surface and a second surface which differ in structure. The first surface may be smooth and the second surface may comprise a plurality of convolute shapes defining a non-smooth surface. The outer sleeve may be reversible so that the smooth surface is facing out or the shaped surface is facing out. The first sleeve defines a cavity in which a plurality of chipped foam pieces may be positioned. The structure provides for two distinct feelings for the pillow, which a user may select.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SANDWHICH PANEL, SANDWHICH PANEL, COMPOSITE MATERIAL SHEET, AND CURVED PANEL MEMBER

A method for manufacturing a sandwich panel of the present invention includes a preparation step of preparing a sheet-like core layer having a honeycomb structure and sheet-like prepregs, a disposition step of disposing the prepregs on opening surfaces of the core layer on an upper surface side and a lower surface side respectively, and a step of obtaining a sandwich panel by heating and pressurizing the core layer and the prepregs while pressing flat surfaces of metal plates as pressing plates to the prepregs and then by separating the metal plates from resin plates made of cured substances of the prepregs.

Impact resistant pad

Apparatuses and methods thereof for employing impact resistant materials, pads, and layers are disclosed. Aspects of the invention include, an impact resistant material including an elastomer material having a base layer and a plurality of raised portions extending upward from the base layer, wherein each of the plurality of raised portions has a top surface and at least three primary sides. Each of the at least three primary sides having a middle region positioned closer to a center of the respective raised portion than either end region of the respective primary side.

CARPET TILES FOR MINIMALLY PREPARED SUBFLOORS AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
20250027268 · 2025-01-23 ·

A carpet tile and process for making the same, wherein the carpet tile comprises a facecloth having a plurality of face yarns tufted through a primary backing, an extruded polymer secondary backing layer, and a cushion, comprising a reinforcing scrim layer within a polymer layer. The top surface and bottom surface of the carpet tile are defined by the facecloth and the cushion, respectively. A polymer-based resin is extruded onto the facecloth to form an at least substantially uniform secondary backing layer, and the cushion is laid onto the extruded polymer secondary backing layer while the extruded polymer secondary backing layer remains above a softening temperature for the resin. The entire multi-layer web is then passed through a nip to embed the reinforcing scrim layer into the extruded polymer secondary layer, and the entire web is chilled.
