The present disclosure relates to a method to produce a coating layer, including applying a coating composition on a surface of a carrier, curing the coating composition to a coating layer, and subsequently applying pressure to the coating layer. The disclosure further relates to a method to produce a building panel, and such a building panel, and to a method to produce a coated foil, and such a coated foil.
FLUID SET
An example of a fluid set includes a primer fluid, a fixer fluid, and an aqueous inkjet ink. The primer fluid includes a first binder, which is a combination of a first acrylic binder and zirconium acetate, or a combination of the first acrylic binder and a first polyurethane binder. The fixer fluid includes a cationic salt and an organic acid. The aqueous inkjet ink includes a second binder selected from the group consisting of a second acrylic binder, a second polyurethane binder, and a combination thereof, a pigment, a surfactant, a co-solvent, and a balance of water.
METHOD FOR REPAIRING DELAMINATION AND MOISTURE BY HEAT, PRESSURE AND ADHESIVE
A method for repairing window laminates in which two plies have become separated to create a void, and wherein moisture may have entered through an edge of the window laminate and into the void. The method includes the steps of: placing the window laminate in a vacuum bag and inserting the vacuum bag containing the window laminate into an oven or autoclave for a minimum of ten minutes at a minimum temperature of 120 degrees Fahrenheit to remove the moisture between the plies; removing the vacuum bag and window laminate from the oven, and removing the window from the vacuum bag; forcing a needle on a syringe through the edge of the window laminate in the area of the void; and injecting an adhesive in the syringe into the void to fill the void with the adhesive.
Method of producing a building panel and a building panel
A method of producing a building panel, including: providing a core, applying a balancing layer having a first moisture content on a first surface of the core, the balancing layer comprising a sheet impregnated with a thermosetting binder, applying a surface layer having a second moisture content on a second surface of the core, the surface layer comprising a thermosetting binder, adjusting the first moisture content of the balancing layer such that the first moisture content of the balancing layer is higher than the second moisture content of the surface layer prior to curing, and curing the surface layer and the balancing layer by applying heat and pressure. Also, a semi-finished product adapted to be cured for forming a building panel.
Label laminate and a method and a system for manufacturing a label laminate
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a label laminate. The method includes forming at least one water based adhesive layer on a belt, drying said at least one water based adhesive layer on the belt, unwinding a first material layer, unwinding a second material layer, attaching said at least one dried water based adhesive layer to the surface of the first material layer, and laminating the first material layer comprising at least one water based adhesive layer together with the second material layer in order to form the label laminate. The invention also relates to a label laminate and to a system for manufacturing a label laminate.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING AN ENGINEERED WOOD
The present invention relates to a method for producing an engineered wood, comprising the steps of: (a) breaking down a veneer to increase its porosity; (b) impregnating the veneer from step (a) with an adhesive material; (c) drying the veneer from step (b) to a predetermined moisture content level; (d) arranging a plurality of the veneers from step (c) in a mould; and (e) pressing the plurality of the veneers in the mould. The engineered wood has an appearance of natural timber, and is able to withstand extreme weather conditions and have minimum warping, rotting and termite infestation.
Method for repairing delamination and moisture by heat, pressure and adhesive
A method for repairing aircraft window laminates in which two plies have become separated to create a void, and wherein moisture may have entered through an edge of the window laminate and into the void.
COMPOSITE GYPSUM BOARD FORMED FROM HIGH-SALT STUCCO AND RELATED METHODS
Disclosed are a composite gypsum board and a method of preparing gypsum board. The board contains at least one set gypsum layer sandwiched between face and back cover sheets. The set gypsum layer is formed from at least stucco and water. The stucco material generally includes a high salt impurity content, for example, when the stucco is calcined from certain sources of low-quality synthetic gypsum. For example, in some embodiments, the salts are chloride salts, e.g., sodium chloride (NaCl), potassium chloride (KCl), magnesium chloride (MgCl.sub.2), and/or calcium chloride (CaCl.sub.2). The board and methods improve the bond between the gypsum layer(s) and at least one of the cover sheets (e.g., the back cover sheet). Also provided are methods and systems relating to drying gypsum board.
FLOUR BINDER FOR GYPSUM BOARD, AND RELATED METHODS, PRODUCT, AND SLURRIES
Disclosed is an acid-modified flour and a method of making the acid-modified flour. The acid-modified flour is desirably prepared using a dry milling process. A starting flour is combined with a strong acid to form a mixture. The mixture is heated. A neutralizer is added to increase the pH of the mixture. If desired, the mixture can be dried and any agglomerates can be removed. The acid-modified flour can be used as a binder in a slurry for preparing one or more gypsum layers in a gypsum board.
Method of preparing elastomer membrane with high water pressure resistance
A method of preparing an elastomer membrane with high water pressure resistance includes the following steps: preparing a dry material by subjecting first thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) powder/particles to a drying treatment; preparing a first mixture by mixing the dry material thoroughly with one or a mixture of at least two of diethylenetriamine, diethylaminopropylamine, and diaminodiphenylmethane; preparing a second mixture by mixing an initiator thoroughly with the first mixture; preparing a first membrane layer from the second mixture; and preparing a second membrane layer and a third membrane layer through the above steps such that the second membrane layer and the third membrane layer are sequentially formed on the first membrane layer.
